On Friday night one of my after market headlights went out . Or at least that what I had thought. I had to wait until Monday the nxt day that they were open . Jeff that wrks the front counter their did what he could to squeeze me in & in a short time had my car back to me with everything wrkin perfectly & not to mention it wasn't a light out it was merely a connection issue with the wires. Much thx to the tech & Jeff for fixing the issue & everyone at LK's auto repair Happy Holidays to you & yours

These guys are great they have a lot of experience on their crew and are very honest to a fault my vehicle needs some work and they went the extra mile to give me a detailed price list for everything I could want to do not just the things I brought my vehicle in for now but also for the routine things that I will need in the next couple months. I really appreciate all they have done for me and highly recommend them.

What a relief to find a mechanic shop that you can trust 100%. Kieth and his team are dedicated to keeping your vehicle running smoothly and reliably. They also don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. They are honest and professional. I am a lifelong customer.

Shop provided me a buyer's vehicle inspection on short notice, completed diagnostics in a timely way, provided a written report, and recognized one previously-known issue (as expected). No surprises, did what they promised, with customer service that I appreciated. Cost ($200 plus tax as stated up-front) was the same as the local Toyota dealership but more than Blue Canary in Bremerton, yet worth it to me for the fast turnaround. I had a good experience.

Keith and his team are there to take care of you and make sure we are all safe on the road. They were up front about everything I needed and didnt need. There were no surprise discoveries and the whole service was 1/3 the cost from my expectations and experiences with other shops. And it's the cleanest auto shop I have EVER encountered.

Promised to refund 1/2 of money we paid in advance for repair that didn't happen. To this day we still haven't received any monies and they won't return our calls.Have been bringing our vehicles to LK's for years.Service at front desk has been trying at best the last year.Updated:Received a call from Linda (owner) stating she was unaware of situation. She did refund money the same day. Appreciated her reaching out to me.

They charged me $170 to tell me what I told them when I dropped it off. Two East Bremerton auto repair shops quoted me $1500, LK wanted $3400 and threatened I couldn't leave. Try Harlow or Blue Canary instead. LK auto repair is a predatory business. Please tell everyone you know

WORST experience me or my family has ever gone through with dealing with a business. They completely ghosted my husband and never fixed his vehicle, they had it moved to a dealership and he was never notified. Our family went without a vehicle while having a newborn in the NICU. We still don t have a fixed vehicle after almost a year. Horrible communication and horribly run business. Stay away.

Brought my car into LK s for a simple fix in May of 2023 and it is now January of 2024 with nothing having been done to it. If you get Jeff don t believe a word he says, he is a pathological liar who constantly tells you that its gonna be fixed by next week when in reality he hasnt even called the dealership yet. Oh yea thats the best part, LK s doesnt even fix the vehicles, they take it to a dealership. So, if you re looking to save money and almost a year of not having a car, cut out the middleman, just take it to a dealer.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THESE SWINDLERS!! Took suv in for diagnostic which cost me $216 and they wouldn't send me the diagnostic I paid for, until I threatened to go to bbb if I didn't receive it. It took 9 hrs to get diagnostic complete even though I had an appt. And they sent me 2 advertisements in the mail weeks before receiving actual diagnostic. Harlow Auto in Bremerton has better service and prices.

Steve and Linda are great if questions need answered and with communicating when and if issues arise. I have had many vehicles and have been to many shops but, LK's far outweighs the competition. Also great waiting room and very clean and organized shop from what I saw. Needless to say I have a new pit crew! Keep up the great work guys and gals!

I needed work done on my SUV. They did the inspection and oil change and came back with a list of things that needed repaired. The cost was over $ 5,000. I later got it checked by Meineke, and they said it wasn't worth the cost the whole undercarriage was rusted and falling apart.

Took 2000F150 in for steering pump quote, quote cost $200. Backed out and off fell power steering pump pully and sheared belt to ground. The quote was $700 I believe. I was pleased he did the job for $500 total since I'm tight on $$ at the time. After I drove off I saw the check engine light on, brought it back and they reset it. Within 4 miles it came back on. (never was prior to pump replacment). The other thing I noticed after picking it up was my left blinker blinking very fast, and the left rear blinker was out. I could not get it working ,Just thought it was a coincidence, lights go out, soon after the right side was doing the same. I finally got the truck into Town and Country today, where I get all my work done. I was stuck using LK since it fell apart in their parking lot. Town and Country found the wiring loome that runs along the front left frame had been crushed and seven of the 15 wires inside were broke. Said it appeared a vehicle lift was improperly positioned and it caught the wire loom. One thing I really dislike are laze workers that don't pay attention to detail. Fix cost me an additional $300....Merry Christmas to me, thank LK...Truck has been on no other lifts except LK's. Three stars since im happy with the work they did do, not happy with the poor attention to detail. Wont be back.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Went there for warranty work by carhop for new engine. Car was there almost 6 months before it was finally done. I ended up switching to different vehicle after 4 months. I caught them lying multiple times about when it would be done, they lied about not having parts when I found out they had them for 2 weeks but put off fixing my vehicle another week and a half before starting not caring about me making payments while they took their time fixing vehicle. I've been there twice for warranty work and will NEVER go back.

I am very happy with the business at Lks. They are always nice and courteous and friendly and always seem to work with you when you're trying to get things fixed. They explain everything to you how much it's gonna cost what needs to be done. I don't feel pressured.I don't feel that they push anything on me that doesn't need to be done and that's why I like going there. I think they have the best prices in town. Overall I am very happy with them and will continue to take my vehicles there. Keith the owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful.Service: Brakes

They were friendly and got me in quick, that concludes the good part of the review. First they charged me $200 to hook their diagnostic machine up to my van, that was the first 5 minutes they spent on it. Then told me it would be $1,200 to replace my glow plugs. When I asked how much time they were figuring for labor I was told two and a half hours. They charge $160 an hour I was told, so that equals $480. That would mean the glow plugs were $720. Bought the glow plugs for $120 and did it myself. The auto repair trade is filled with unscrupulous people and LK did nothing to separate themselves from the pack.

Find someone else. My check engine light came on and our code reader gave us a code. We called LK s and they told us to come the next day at 1pm. We dropped the car off and didn t hear anything the rest of the day. We waited until 10am the following day, still nothing. We called and when they returned our call it was a $900 estimate. We asked for the quote emailed. $700 of that cost was labor. Upon quick googling of the issue everyone said it was an amateur 15 minute job. So we spent the $20 on Amazon for the part and my husband spent 20 MINUTES switching the part out. He is not any type of mechanic at all. This was literally half a step above changing an air filter. I am just absolutely baffled we almost spend $900 on something that didn t even take an hour. That also doesn t even include the $160 diagnostic that doesn t even apply to the work . It s hard not knowing which mechanic to trust. Steer clear of this one and make sure you do your research. I still can t even believe our experience.

Nobody likes to spend money on Auto repairs, but if you have you, I recommend you spend it here. The entire staff (that I worked with or spoke to) was incredibly friendly and professional and they were great about contacting me with status updates and any pay increases or decreases for the work being done and sought approval before moving forward so there wouldn't be any surprises. My work was warrantied for 2 years and my car is running like new, thanks to them. Will definitely be using them again for future needs. Service: Auto maintenance

Apparently labor hours here are guessed and/or incorrectly billed - consumer warning. Was billed over $900 to replace a power steering pump brought all the parts and had them replace the attached belt and a pulley at the same time. Should have been a 2 hour max job. They billed each item as if it were a separate (standalone) job even though the work required taking the belt off. Charged me for a flush without telling me or asking to have that done - not required. When questioned about the bill they said oh that makes sense and told me they would call back. No call the following week so I show up and it looks like they have no accurate way to determine labor hours - a guess. Paid $190/hr just for labor - that s higher than a dealer would charge! Not a good first visit and will be my last. Can t imagine how many people have been taken advantage of here that don t know better. Two stars because they did refund me partially eventually, but no explanation on the partial refund amount and no apology. Took me 3 separate visits to get a refund and this should have been a $400 max repair still ended up paying over $600. Oh and they drove the car 8 miles while it was there - that s a bit much for a test drive .

I have had amazing experiences with LK's auto on two separate occasions. Both times my vehicle barely made it to the shop it was in such bad shape. I waited at the shop for my first visit, and they have a very nice customer service waiting area that made the wait easy. The second visit they were able to shuttle me to the shop once my vehicle was done even though the snowy weather was terrible, and it was almost time for them to close. The mechanic that worked on my Jeep JKU talked to me on both visits to let me know everything that he had found and how he fixed it. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great shop that deals professionally with aftermarket parts and services. Excellent experience's that will bring me back to them in the future.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I had my truck with them for almost 2 weeks for an electrical issue. I only have my truck to get to work so everyday I would have to drop it off and pick it up. They replaced a filter and did not actually fix the issue. They told me it is probably the EGR and said I should do it myself. They also told me their diesel tech was going to call me but that never happened. I don t recommend taking your diesel to them and definitely don t take your vehicle to them if it is an electrical problem.

Typical auto repair shop that is money grubbing. Took my Prius in to get it fixed because my hybrid system wasn t working. They charged me $200 to run a test and told me the battery was a dud and it needed a refurbished battery for $3500. Got a second opinion from Reddit of all places and the fine folks on that site told me the battery was fine and that I should try unplugging it and plugging it back in. It worked and now the car has been fine for several weeks.I reached out to let them know I was disappointed and I got no response. They should know that the hybrid system could be reset and they should have tried that at the very least. Had they actually tried to be helpful I gladly would have gone back for any future issues I will have with my car.Instead I ll never go back and now I m leaving my first bad review I ve ever bothered to write.

Everyone I know has been recommending LK's for the last ten years, yet I just now finally tried them out for myself and I now finally understand why.I got a brake job done on my 2013 Spark and, frankly, there are a number of things they could easily have cheated me on - parts I thought would need changed that they verified were fine. They worked around my awkward work schedule, offered me free shuttle service (though I didn't need it), and STILL managed to stay below other mechanics' estimates (probably because they didn't try to screw me over, unlike literally every other auto shop I've ever worked with). And they stand behind their work - two year warranty on parts & service ain't no joke. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust. But these folks at LK's are the real deal; there's a reason they have such a strong reputation here in the Kitsap area. They earned it, and I'll definitely be bringing my beloved little Spark back to them next time it needs work.

Excellent service. Shop was very clear on particular concerns with the vehicle and didn't pressure me to get unnecessary repairs. Repairs were done the same day (though somewhat extensive), and the mechanic stayed late to ensure vehicle worked above standards.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil changeServices: Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

(GO TO BROTHERS AUTO ON 500 Naval AVE !!)Went in for a vehicle inspection for $200 and had it done. i got told that after they speak with my dealership about the problems, they will send me the quote and list of problems but that never happened even when I called I kept getting told that the person who dealt with you will give you a call . surprise surprise that never happened either. they would end up never sending me anything so I basically spent $200 for them to inspect nothing I asked the dealership they were SUPPOSED to call but they never heard from them either. I eventually took it somewhere else to actually get the stuff done and just about 90% of what they told me was wrong with my car ended up being completely false and the other mechanics were completely flabbergasted on why they would say such things because it was not nearly as bad as what LK auto TRIED to make it out to be

I recently bought a used car and it had a non functional seat belt in the rear passenger seat. The seller agreed to cover the work and referred us to LK s. Keith was kind and efficient, quoting me a price and said he could get the part the next day. Once I had approval to get the work done, I called and was able to schedule for the next day. The work was done quickly. Payment and pickup were quick and easy. Would definitely recommend!

My car was making a noise, so I took my car to the dealership for a diagnostic, and it was my cv axcel. I called LK to try and get a quote, but the lady on the phone couldn't provide one. She said I had to make an appointment and have them take a look at it. I then asked how much their diagnostic was, and she couldn't provide me a number. So I made the appointment and then immediately called Frontier Auto parts, and they quoted me 300, so I made an appointment with them as well for a different day. So the day before my appointment, I called LK again and asked how much their diagnostic was, and the same girl told me she didn't know. So the next day I go to my appointment, I tell one of the mechanics that I know what the issue is, and I offer them the car dealerships diagnostic and just ask for a quote to replace the axcel and he told me they can't use the other diagnostic, they have to look at the car before they could quote me. I was upset cause I had called 3 other mechanics at this point, and each of them were able to quote me for parts and labor. I should've taken my business else where, but a friend recommended LK so I gave them a chance and they wanted 160 for their diagnostic but they told me they would only charge me half cause it would only take a half hour for them to look at it. Long story short, the issue was indeed my cv axcel. They charged me $110, and they quoted me $750 to replace it. No thanks, that was $100 more than the dealership wanted, so I got out of there as fast as I could and went to Frontier instead, and I couldn't be any happier.

I give three stars only to give myself room for LK Auto to get better. First visit a repair issue was forgotten and I had to reschedule. The second time I asked for a oil change and fuel filter change and they forgot to do the fuel filters.I finally got repairs and filters taken care of. I will still use this company because they accommodated me with my busy schedule to fix the missing service and repair issues. I feel they do quality work and the people are kind and friendly. Prices are a little higher, but as you all know ya get what you paid for! Maybe after a couple of more visits I will raise the star valueThanks for playing!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change
