Mike Harlow runs his business with integrity, and his staff does great work. Harlow Auto is a bit out of the way for me, but is well worth the trip.Don t be concerned by the appearance of the place! It may look a little shabby, but it s no reflection of the fantastic service.

My vehicle slid on the ice and went into a ditch. I got it out of the ditch and notice my brake lights would not turn off even with the ignition off. I took it to Harlow and Bill got me the best deal! $170 total to replace my brake switch! Whereas other shops in the area wanted $200 just to diagnose! I will take my car here again in the future! Thanks guys!

This shop is the best around. Very honest and helpful, I was told by the dealership that I needed a new engine for my Jeep, Bill fixed this issue and my Jeep runs great. I will always bring my vehicles to them. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

I posted my first review of Harlows about 3 years ago. I needed a repair shop that knew how to work with my Ford SVT Raptor. I can say with total confidence that the owner and technicians here are epic. If that isn't quite enough to get your car there then I must mention that their repair prices are super competetive with the dealership - in short, they do way more work for a much more realistic price structure. I plan on keeping my truck until it hits 200,000 miles. I wouldn't do that without the backup support of Harlow Auto Repair

Harlow Auto Is the best! I cannot say enough about Bill and his team. They are so informative, reliable, accommidating, and will always do what they can to take care of their customers at a reasonable price! I will never trust anyone else with my vehicle. If you're looking for a repair shop that knows what they're doing with reasonable, fair pricing this is your shop! Thanks again Bill for all that you do!

I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Best auto repair shop on the east side of Bremerton. My wife feels very comfortable dropping our vehicles off there while I'm at work, even with our four kids with her. The people there are kind and friendly and get the job done fast and for a good price too. I have no complaints and I'm happy to have been a returning customer for years.

While not your typical looking repair shop, rest assured knowing your vehicle is in good hands. They explain everything in detail once they locate the problem and are very reasonably priced especially knowing it will be done right. I highly recommend Harlow Auto Repair for all your mechanical needs.

Had a clutch and cooling fan assemblies replaced here. Besides those things, error codes were cleared, fuses were replaced and some components in the cabin came back to life. That let me know they did a thorough job. When I got my car back it was in a condition better than expected. Very reasonable prices and happy with the work.

We took our truck in to investigate various error messages. They hooked it up to the computer and then drove it and could not replicate the problem again. The really nice thing is that they did not charge us. Most places would have charged for the diagnostic. I appreciate them and will definitely return.

Been going here for years. My whole family and many of my friends have become regulars as well. Bill is very polite and honest. The whole crew seems to know what they're doing. The pricing is fair. I've taken cars in there on more than one occasion where I wasn't even charged. Bill has also been straight forward offering his expert opinion where a repair may not bring you value based upon the mileage and condition of the car where other shops would have been eager to sell the customer on pricy

Bill, the office guy, is a horrible person. As a young woman, he treated me like I was stupid. I've had problems with my battery, it would die every few months and wouldn't hold a charge. My father was the one who would take my car in. I suppose Bill was nicer to him because he's older... And a man.Recently I scheduled a tune-up by myself. Bill was very condescending and outright rude to me when I came to pick up my car. I walked into the office and he went over what they did. He didn't mention payment so I had to ask him, "do I pay now or later?" His response was sarcastic, "well usually people pay for their car when they pick it up." You're running a business, you're supposed to ask the customer for payment. Not sit there and awkwardly stare at me for a minute until I have to ask about payment and then make a comment that makes me feel stupid.I payed with a credit card that had a cassette tape design on it. He said, "oh, your probably too young to know that this thing is." That's not something you say to a customer, ever.I will never come back here. I'm finding a different repair shop that treats young women with respect. I do not recommend Harlow Auto Repair to anyone.

I have taken my cars to Harlow Auto Repair for the past several years and cannot speak highly enough of them. The people who changed my oil suggested a serious problem that needed to be checked out. A Harlow mechanic checked my undercarriage and determined that nothing was wrong. There was no charge. I've had work done on my Mitsubishi Eclipse several times, including paint and body work. These people are very competent, honest, knowledgeable, and do work of the highest quality.

I chose this shop because of the ratings and positive reviews and also like to give support to the smaller shops! I brought my 1999 Jaguar XJ8 project car for a fuel pump and filter repair, it sat for a week before they even worked on it. I would drive by on my way to and after work to see if it had been moved.Once the pump was installed it still didn't start and it sat for almost another 2 weeks before supposedly diagnosing the engine and concluding the engine had 4 of the 8 cylinders with low compression and bad timing chains. The work order didn't even show the compression numbers which raised my suspicions even more! I can tell they didn't really want to work on the car and dismissed me even though I offered to pay them to replace the engine! 3 weeks and almost $1000 was wasted there at that shop I will never support them again!Edwin Torres

I needed a simple front brake pad and rotor installed. I already bought the parts and just needed someone to install them for me. So I called and was treated very rudely. I asked if they could do it and when the soonest time would be available. "we don't work with outside parts and nothing is available until Tuesday." *click* he just hanged up! No explanation, no alternatives or any real customer service. I heard good things about them and was recommended to here. I have never gone yet and now it looks like I never will. Poor treatment of potential customers.

If I could have waited in their waiting area,(NOT-bcz of covid) I would have given them five stars. The Toyota dealer told me the average cost for a Prius's 90k mile check up was @$500, while the estimate from Harlow's was @300. After waiting outside in the cold and rain next door for a ride home, it was worth it as the final bill was barely over $200. All filters were changed or replaced with new ones.I'm very

I have been going to Harlow's Auto Repair with my vehicles and my family vehicles for the last 25 years. It has been nothing but the best service, and prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I live now on the Eastside and it is worth the ferry ride to bring my vehicle to Harlow's because they are the best shop I have ever taken my vehicles too. They are fair and truthful. I would recommend them for all my repair work.

Competent and friendly small shop. Good prices compared with dealership. Great place to go especially if you don't prefer going to the huge operation that you see at a dealership. Toyota Highlander timing belt. Computer trouble shooting.

This mechanic is a joke. My family has been going to them for over 5 years now and have always trusted them. However, 6 months ago i brought my 1989 Honda Prelude there because i just bought it. It was over heating and I thought it had a blown head gasket. I told him that i wanted them to do a full inspection of the car under the hood. He informed me that he'd do a diagnostic on the over heating but wouldn't look over the whole car. I asked him why he couldn't do a full inspection and he then proceeded to tell me that no mechanic does a full inspection of a car because that would take forever and it isn't necessary. I looked dumbfounded and didn't say anything. He could tell i wasn't happy and he didn't care. He said it would be done in a week. I figured he was having a bad day, and gave him some slack due to years of working with him. So I walked out. A week later I called. He said he hadn't even looked at it. I called him for another 2 weeks before picking up the car. (Which needed to be jumped for some reason) He billed me for a full diagnostic and told me that he couldn't get the car to over heat or the temperature to go past half. He said he did notice the fan wasn't turning on but he thinks it is probably just because the car never got hot. ALL THAT TIME FOR NOTHING! I later went to a real mechanic who replaced the head, fan relay, and thermostat, which fixed all the problems.
