I recently needed to replace the lock on my mailbox, due to someone tampering with it. I went to Home Dept, Lowes & a local hardware store but the locks I got there did not work I stumbled upon Wise Locksmith while driving down Bothell Everett Hwy and was able to get the same solid lock that was on my mailbox originally.The owner was super helpful with trying to help me get the right sized cam (I threw out my old lock and cam - that was a mistake!), and I really appreciated how kind he was. He gave me several different sized cams to try with the lock I purchased from him. When those didn t work, he ground down a cam to customize it to fit for me. Wow!I love supporting local businesses, and this locksmith has been part of our community since 2006. They do house calls, fix commercial and residential locks, and also do replacement key fobs for vehicles - they re a full service locksmith. I will definitely use Wise Locksmith if I have any other lock needs!Note: They re kind of hard to spot - the business is located in a trailer on the left side of BEH, across the street from a pottery studio. It s just past 196th street, on the left, headed towards Mill Creek.

David was amazing! Absolutely outstanding customer service! I brought in my 1992 Miata to get all 3 of my locks fixed (driver/passenger/trunk). When I bought the car none of my locks were functioning with a key or from the inside. He took a look at it and said he could get them all done with 3 hours labor, no problem. He did his absolute best to clean up and make my locks function once again since replacement cylinders were discontinued. Also rekeyed the trunk to be the same as the ignition and doors. As well as making 2 copies of the key for me.Overall I m extremely happy with the outcome, definitely worth the price just for his great attitude towards what he does alone!

What a great Locksmith! I received a safe from my later Fathers estate. Didn't have the combination for the safe. It sat in my garage for 6 years, until I found Chris at Wise Locks in Bothell. He obtained the combination and got it opened and we didn't have to destroy the safe! Excellent service and a great guy why can open just about anything!Thank you Chris!

This business "tested" our key fob and said the battery was fine, so the fob was bad and we would have to buy a new one, which can run $300+ at a dealership. They recommended we purchase a new key online and bring it back to them to be cut and programmed, for around $175. We opened the key again when we got home and realized that there was no battery in it. It had fallen out when we opened it at home before taking it into Wise. How did they test a battery that didn't exist? We replaced the battery for about $5 and the key works fine now.

Super cost effective, professional, and timely!..........They answered the phone in a very professional manner. The locksmith arrived within 30 minutes and 5minutes after arrival they had my door open, keys in hand, and service paid. The locksmith even helped me by informing me on what needed to be done to get reimbursed with insurance.

CONSUMER BEWARE: I have used this location to make dozens of house and car keys over the last 35 years. Today, I asked to have a duplicate key made for my Honda accord. I advised this was a spare key. They brought up a blank key that had a different head, but was okay as I am going to hide the key. They cut the key and made sure it worked. The price ..$92 which I paid. I was flabbergasted at the price as I normally pay under $10 for my keys. They claimed it was expensive because it was a laser cut key. Did they tell me that? Nope. Granted, I did not ask how much at first because all my previous keys were under the $10.A responsible business would advise the key was a special cut key and would cost almost 20 times more. I would have said no immediately. Of course they lost my business.Location was at 195th and the Bothell Everett Hwy

Service was above and beyond! As a property manager sometimes I need a rekey turn around completed quickly. Not only did they finish the job before promised they stayed open an extra 40 minutes from me to get my locks. Highly recommend these guys!

I work at a church and have had keys made with them and all the keys work well and the staff was quick and knowledgeable. I also called them because I had a jammed door and they were able to get a tech, I believe his name was Chris, out the same afternoon! Thankfully it was a super easy fit - really just a finicky door that he helped me with a few tips. He wasn't even in the building 5 minutes, but he waived the service fee because it was so fast. What great service! I appreciate you!

We called Wise Locksmith for help because we were locked out of our townhome after hours and no one was answering at our property management company. We spoke with a very helpful locksmith who quoted us a very fair price and speedy service. Just a couple of minutes after speaking with him we finally got a call back from the property management company so we ended up not needing the service after all - but I would definitely call Wise again if we have need in the future.

Brought my car to see if they could fix my door locks. Ever since we bought our used car, all manual key locks would not turn except the driver s door - and only in the unlock direction. I thought the locks were rusted and would need to be replaced as I had already tried PB Blasting them to no avail. But these guys had the expertise to know that I actually need to go to the dealership to get a key code for the original key cut since the one I had was too worn down. Turns out that was the trick! I can actually turn the key in all locks! These guys know what they re doing.But that isn t the whole of it. They knew that dealerships often don t give the key code (a 4-digit number) so that the locksmith can cut the key, and they could have (falsely) affirmed my hunch that all locks needed replacing. But they were willing to take the risk and potentially lose the business to cut the key for me, telling me the truth. In the end, the dealership couldn t give the code but cut the key for me (and so Wise unfortunately lost business), so I decided to tell my story here since the information they provided was valuable to me and Wise refused payment for this info. Thanks Wise!

I lost my keys so called around to different locksmiths most said that I had bring the car in to have a new key made and to program it. The last place I called was able to come in between jobs a couple of hours. Michael was there earlier than expected was able cut a key before he came and was able to program very quickly, very professional.Thank you

The staff was really friendly and the service was prompt. We needed two car key fobs programmed and they had it done in fifteen minutes. They work like a charm. Pricing is very competitive as well. They were even nice enough to contact me and move up my appointment when someone else cancelled. A very good experience all around.

I live just down the road from this place and I needed to get a copy of my key for my car before I sold it. I left a message later at night and Mike called me first thing in the morning and came right over to help. He was very professional and honest about pricing and what getting my new key and getting it chipped was going to involve. He made the whole process easy peasy from start to finish and the pricing was better than I thought it would be. My car key snapped in the ignition while I was trying to leave Subway so I called Wise Locksmith as I had heard great things about them from my friends and family. They were attentive, punctual and unlocked my car, got the broken key out of the ignition, made me a new key and programmed it within 30 minutes. Michael was the one that came and helped me with everything. He was personable, kind and extremely skilled. Our two year old locked himself in his room and we called everywhere. Wise locksmiths showed up within 11 minutes of our call, had the door open in two minutes, and didn't charge a dime for our distress. Highly recommend!

We needed 3 copies of a key made. We went to Fred Meyer, big mistake. We have made this mistake before but will never make it again. I googled places near where we live and came up with the Wise Locksmith in Mill Creek. FANTASTIC! Michael said they guarantee their keys will work (and they did) and their price was good and he even gave us a 10% discount because we needed 3 keys. Personable and really efficient, done in just a couple of minutes. Highly recommend! Thanks Michael!

Great service with a good price. I had 2 key fobs that I purchased from amazon for my car programmed and the keys cut all in under 20 minutes. Literally out the door and driving away in 20 minutes... When all was complete I had 2 new key fobs for what 1 would have cost me if I went to the dealership.

Best locksmith in the area! I locked my self out of my apartment. Chris was incredibly nice and from when I called he got here fast! He opened my door and offered to re-key since my key was lost. Got the entire thing done fast and with amazing quality! The new lock even opens more smoothly than the old one! I tend to be a person who gets locked out frequently I will be calling Wise next time something happens no doubt!

Michael at Wise Locksmith was not only kind and extremely patient he was Amazing! My key broke off in my ignition. He quickly got the key end out and made me a replacement within for my doors within 5 minutes. He could of truly told me he wasn t able to make a new key, mine was broken into 2 pieces. Instead he saved me a lot of money and I couldn t appreciate him more. I will get ALL if my keys done here and I recommend you do the same!

Called for a quote and was greeted by rudeness and unprofessionally trained staff of customer service. Wouldn t mind paying 200$+ to get my key made but the person over the phone seemed to be over worked started the conversation off with a very low level of enthusiasm especially when I asked him why the price was significantly higher than the other competitors.

I went here after calling a number of places. Glad i did too. I lost my original remote, so I bought two aftermarkets. Had them programmed here. He was really nice. Very friendly too. Did a great job and it didn't take long at all. You can't beat the price either. I highly recommend this place.

We bought a house and it turned out the seller didn't own keys to every door. After hours of stressful packing, loading, and driving, we arrived to our new house to find that we were locked out. After an exhausting day of moving all we wanted to do was get inside.We called Wise Locksmith and they were extremely polite and understanding (which was great since I was probably mostly incoherent after the stress of moving and being locked out). They were very upfront about the cost and details of the service. The locksmith arrived in about 30 minutes and was able to unlock the door and let us in within 10 minutes. Again. very polite and understanding of the situation. We'll definitely be going back to them for future services!Service: Building lockouts

Went in for a quick rekeying of a couple of doorknobs. Even while juggling a lot of different responsibilities the guy who helped me was extremely courteous, friendly, personable, and efficient. I never felt like a bother. He was just as great over the phone too, which is appreciated. The job was simple, but he still took the time to explain things to me and double check that I got everything I needed.

Moved into a new place and wanted to make a copy of the sticky mail key the office gave us. I couldn't get it made in the local department store lock kiosks. Turns out they gave us an industrial key for a residential lock. The locksmith copied it onto the correct key, quick and cheap. Will return for all lock and key needs. 10/10

Chris really went the extra mile to help me out! Experienced, fast, programmed new key job for less than every other bid I got in the area (I called 5). Highly recommend!*tip - if you ve lost your keys and don t have a spare, just have your insurance tow your car to Chris at Wise Locksmith. I saved over $100 off the quote for just the key that I got from my insurance and saved additional $50 by having it towed instead of roadside.
