Love this place! The family that runs it created a welcoming place where you can find everything you need for a stop on the island and lots of items that are curated for visitors. The atmosphere is inviting and the tasty white wine came with a pleasant conversation with the working newly weds. They had fuel at the dock and a big green lawn to relax with treats. If you are in the area it s worth stopping in at the dock for a pit stop.

Private island with the exception of this marina, which is a welcome pit stop for many boaters enjoying the San Juans. Reasonably priced fuel, expensive ice cream, clean and functional flush bathrooms and showers. Thoughtful pet areas.

REPLY: Thank you very much for looking into this. The date was July 9 at around noon (your marina was more than half-way on a specific leg of our Patos to Seattle transit begun at 1052 and ending at 1348, so the time is approximate). We were idling eastward in the fairway toward the covered moorage, unaware of exactly where the fuel dock was (it wasn't clear to me). The other two boats in my group held back and drifted just outside the channel while I headed up the fairway to look for it. The person who went out of their way to make us unwelcome was a woman in perhaps her 60's on the north bank of the peninsula between the fuel dock and the covered moorage. You're right - the photo in my review was taken at the Eddie Vine Boat Ramp and I shared it so the image of our vessels could help jog the memory. And again - thank you for looking into this - I'd love to have had a different experience and maybe I will get the chance in the future. I know it could have been some random hater just out being a total Karen, but if it turns out it was an employee please give them an education on boater safety, courtesy, and service.ORIGINAL POST: Unbelievably rude. I hadn't even idled half way into the marina before someone came out and quite literally screamed at me, insulted me, threatened me, and denied me fuel service withing 15 seconds of hailing me.She was screaming about "Jetski's," a brand of water toy. I was on a Fish Pro, a PWC made specifically for fishing and touring, licensed by WA State and insured. My clients were on two GTX's, also licensed and insured boats. We produced less wake, less noise, and less attitude than most of the other boats we encountered in San Juan County. We needed 45 gallons of gas but we were forced to push on. I'll buy all my gas and foodstuffs in Anacortes when I travel through, next time, and now I can highly recommend Skyline Marina! THOSE are boat people! Super nice! The folks in LaConner are pretty awesome, too. Blakely Island? Not so much.

This place is amazing! We loved the vibe of the family run store. Generous and delicious ice cream, tasty and unique lunch specials, and home made cookies and donuts to die for. One of our favorite stops in the San Juan s. We ll be stopping by again soon!

Beautiful setting and a very well kept marina run by a great family that make this a must for any boater looking for a quiet spot to tie up in the San Juan Islands. This was our first visit and we will be back, sunsets without compare and a legit bowl of Ramen from the marina store are calling us back. Great views and cool people make this marina a real gem for anyone cruising or fishing in San Juan Islands.

Great Marina Close to AnacortesI've stayed here a few times and always had a fantastic stay. The folks that work here are super friendly and helpful, and the store is well stocked and reasonably priced. True that you cannot leave the marina, but it is great if you need a place to dock your boat in the evenings.

If you're on (or near) Blakely Island and you need ice cream, a beer, random groceries, or fuel for your boat you're in luck. Blakely Island Store & Marina (which is only open in the summer - although you can get fuel year-round) is the place to see and be seen on trendy Blakely Isle. Not accessible by ferry, the island relies on the store to provide much-needed essentials (like craft beer on draft) to locals and tourists. And while their grocery selection is sparse, and not the cheapest game in town, it is - in fact - the ONLY game in town. So if you forgot eggs while you were on the mainland doing your monthly shopping, you're in luck! The store also hosts weekly events so it's worth checking out while you're there. Last summer they had a BBQ every Friday and the burgers were delish. This is definitely a must-stop when you're on B.I.

Good selection of stuff you might have forgotten to bring to the islands, tasty Hawaiian-style hot dogs, and the HOMEMADE ice cream is the bomb. Proprietors are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back next time I'm the area.

I always appreciate stopping at Blakely, though important to note the store is only open Memorial Day through Labor Day but the gas dock is open all year.

Very quiet well maintained marina, the store has enough products to get you by. The owners are very pleasant and a joy to chat with when not overwhelmed by the locals.

Used to be pretty awesome.. Asian food, beer, and good ice cream cones. Stopped by this year and had my daughter order an ice cream cone, and seriously, it was smaller than any kiddie cone I had ever seen before. As small or smaller than a pre wrapped drum stick. Not what we had experienced in the past.

Great Friday night burgers and socializing. Tasty ice cream, coffee and curried rice. They understand GF and work around my limitations. Friendly family running the store that always make you feel special! Nice selection of tshirts and fun souvenirs. Love it!

Very difficult for mariners to actually use effectively. Staff was incredibly rude. You can t pay for water fill up unless you stay in the marina which is ridiculous and also people aren t come to stay in a marina in the San Juan s. They are there to enjoy the islands. Take your business elsewhere.

My family and I ventured into this charming marina only to be run out by an employee. My husband inquired about moorage availability and was told to read the signs. Not only was the gentleman no help, but he was blatantly rude and refused our potential business. I m always amazed by those in the customer service sector that don t like people. I will avoid this facility in the future.

The general store is fabulous, Ice cream, paninni's, free wifi. The dock has prepaid gasoline (pay at the top of the ramp) Boat in access only. Not a good place to walk is the only disadvantage.

It has to be tough to run a marina year long in a seasonal location without ferry service so if this was a location like that I would give then a two.Limited stock in store, vs. what I have seen here for the last 30 years. The gas price posted at the dock was for Diesel at $2.65 but nothing for regular so I filled up only to see on my receipt I paid over $4.00 Well its vacation and not time to always look for value but I will forever now fill up before I launch...

Blakely island is a lovely place to be. Nice private island in the San Juans. The marina is small and good place to fill up gas, meet people, and see what the island is about.

Just an immaculate, gorgeous place, however we were disappointed, the store was closed, end of season, will be back next summer. Super clean bathrooms and showers!!

Asian woman on the fuel dock was the rudest person I ve ever encountered at a business. We stopped in to get some supplies at the store. I won t make that mistake again!

Absolutely delightful. Very quaint general store with homemade donuts and goodies from the neighboring islands for sale at a reasonable price.

Easy to use self-serve fuel pumps on a dock parallel to Peavine Pass, but out of most of the wind and current.
