It s not every day you get great service from a business that you haven t even used yet. But Matt at Northwest European Autoworks took my phone calls about questions I had regarding a particular car that needed inspecting. He gave me some great advice on what to look for and how I should proceed with my purchase. Matt even called me to inquire on my progress! That s 1st class service! I highly recommend this shop for your European auto repairs!

While roadtripping through the PNW with my Mexican car, it suddenly stopped after a huge mistake on my part. They kindly helped me look at it and fixed the problem with fair prices. Their service is excellent since the first phone call. I can t recommend them enough!!Update: They have been super helpful at checking my engine even after they solved the issue. They are truly passionate about what they do and always have the best disposition to help. I d recommend them in a heartbeat!

My car was taken apart. Deemed mechanically totalled. Then they refused to put my car back together and sent me home $2600. Later with a "BOX" of parts in my car that I CANNOT part out to make any money off my car. Who doesn't put parts back together!?!?!?! Lies.

We took our 2003 158wb dodge sprinter van to NW European Autoworks during our roadtrip in the PNW. We experienced a broken transmission mount and bracket which occured on the dirt roads in BC. The team at NW european autoworks was extremely knowledgable about our sprinter van and was able to fit us in the scheudle quickly with short notice. The team got us back on the road in no time along with completing some addtional preventative maintenane (fuel filter). The price for the service was competitive and very reasonable. We highly recommend NW European Autoworks for anyone in the Bellingham or PNW area in need of any work on their sprinter van. If you are looking for competent, honest help with your European auto repair or with your sprinter van conversion Ron and Matt are your folks. I met Ron at a local retailer in town on a Saturday morning. I approached him because of the sprinter van conversion he was driving and I was just starting a sprinter van conversion myself. He was very generous with his time and willing to show me his very cool van. This led me to his shop the following week where I met Matt. Matt has been an incredible sounding board and resource for me in my journey to convert my van. His willingness to share his knowledge has been priceless. I highly recommend NW European Autoworks.

I can t say enough about Northwest European. They do it right, have competitive rates, and truly care about making sure customers are happy with the work. Matt and Ron are knowledgeable enthusiasts of many European autos. We took our 2018 Mercedes Sprinter to them to upgrade our rear suspension and it drives like a dream. They are easy to work with and loaned us a car to run errands while they worked on our rig. We are already telling other Sprinter owners to go see them. Ride On!

My partner and I have been taking our voltswagon Jetta to Northwest European for 3 years now and we cannot say enough good things about them. Excellent service, very friendly team and great turnaround time. They have helped with simple odd jobs and complex issues as well and their pricing is very reasonable. We drove with our Mercedes Sprinter for 5 months across Canada and we knew we had some problems with our clutch. As we shipped our Sprinter from Europe, we had to search for a while until we found someone who felt comfortable to replace the clutch as it is a manual transmission. Matt, Ron, Chris and the whole Team at Northwest European Autoworks in Bellingham just did an awesome job. We could send the needed clutch kit from Europe straight to their address. In addition they helped us with our broken suspensions and also put on some new tires. In times of uncertain delivery times, they managed to get all the needed parts within one week. The whole process was super easy, communication was great and they also supported us in the technical decision making regarding the suspensions. All in all we can totally recommend NW European Autoworks. Especially for Mercedes Sprinters, as Ron and Matt have a Sprinter Campervan by themself, they really know what they are doing. Thanks again!

Great experience. I brought my 2007 VW Rabbit in for general maintenance and tune up and then brought it back for a leaky sunroof. Both times I brought it in, I was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly and get my car back within a couple days. They were great with communicating the issues to me, explaining my options, and shared a video of the water leak so I could see exactly what was going on. I appreciate that they offered some practical solutions for my 17-year-old car. My Rabbit didn't have any major problems when I brought it in, but I can tell that it's driving a lot better than it has in years.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My two experiences with Northwest European Autoworks have been excellent. Matt helped source parts for an older BMW and provide some very helpful advice. I got my car inspected here before It was purchased, Matt and the rest of his team were super helpful and friendly. The job got done quick and I got an in-depth list with the issues of the car. They also didn t try to charge me no bs fees. Great shop and I would absolutely recommend.

Absolutely the best Mercedes people I ve ever come across. They were prompt and professional, explaining all I had to get done to my old 300D, and they did it quickly and at a reasonable cost. We cannot recommend Matt and NW European Autoworks enough!! After being on the road for weeks in our Mercedes Sprinter van we had a check engine light and one other light come on that we needed to get checked out. We didn t have much time in town, but Matt was honest and transparent about timing and got us in the same day! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful from the start. Northwest is the only place I will ever bring my VW Jetta. They have done so much work for my car over the years - new oil pan, timing belt, clutch, oil changes, filters, and more. If you want to be treated like family and get the BEST and most HONEST service, this is the place for you! Matt was my first person I spoke with. After he asked all the right questions, speak with the mechanics, he was able to give me a fair idea what was going on with my Porsche. And, he was spot on! The estimate was very fair and the work was spectacular. Northwest European Auto is my new mechanic! I have already recommended them and when I put my name on something, it s a big deal as I take it personally. You will walk in as a customer but you will walk out a friend. Thank you all for your help!!!!!!

NW European Autoworks is the absolute BEST Sprinter mechanic I've found, and I've had my van worked on all over the country. Matt and the crew are highly professional and skilled at what they do, and they have very fair prices for parts and labor. They do the work they promise and extra. I brought my sprinter van in today for a loud sound coming from the engine. The guys were nice and I am grateful they were able to take a look right away as I told them I was traveling. Unfortunately, they weren t able to correctly identify and fix the issue with my engine. I was just passing through Bellingham but if they had more time, they might have been able to fix my van. I am mostly upset because I was told they test drive it and it sounded perfect, but when I started driving away from the shop, I instantly heard the clicking sound coming from the engine.

Our BMW 535Xi broke down on the I5, overheating and stopped. We called a tow truck and the driver said that he took his old BMW to Northwest European Autoworks because they were honest and the best. I talked to Matt at Northwest European Autoworks in relation to my 2004 Sprinter 2500 that needs a replacement engine. Matt was super helpful in introducing me to the platform and the common cost/value opportunities to consider when planning an engine replacement on this platform. Matt was free with his time, performed significant legwork on my behalf to ensure that his services would meet our needs even before any commitment of work on my part. If you have spent any time researching shops for Sprinters, T1N platform in particular, you will recognize how valuable this is. Matt sets clear expectations on how/when work will be completed and is working diligently to handle the increased workload that this season has brought. Northwest European is a great place to get work done on your Sprinter van! I have an older 2003 sprinter van and they were one of the only places that could actually diagnose my van. They were also very helpful in prioritize what needed to be done. They get the job done in a timely fast manner which is super convenient! Only thing is they are a bit pricey, but they do great work!

Outstanding service... I usually do all work on cars I own and have not taken a car in to get a repair done in 20 years. My M Coupe needed a new clutch and I just didn t have the time or resources to do the work this time. I was terrified of taking a car into a shop and the cost associated with doing so. I called around the Seattle area and the Eastside getting quotes and was sickened by the numbers I was being quoted. Called this place after a referral and not only was their price FAR lower, but they happily offered their expertise over the phone. Many other shops I had called left me with the impression that they were doing me a favor by entertaining me with a quote, and I really had to pry for details. NEA did an absolutely outstanding job, and addressed several other issues in the transmission (shift linkage, braided steel line, flex disc) and remained right around the original quote. I was concerned about ballooning costs you hear about a service like this and did not experience anything of the sort. Car drives excellent now and could not be happier. Friendly crew as well. Can t recommend these guys enough.

The guys here are incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional! I felt very welcomed when I talked on the phone with Matt, as well as each time I brought my car in. Everyone there went above and beyond with wanting to give me the best service possible. The pricing was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend NW European Autoworks!

They helped with my t1n sprinter in a really tight pinch. Communicative and really nice staff. As a solo traveling woman, this worries me.
