Rob and the crew at Hi-Tech took on the challenge of diagnosing and fixing multiple issues with my 2001 Dodge Dakota. While I don t put many miles on it, I find it invaluable for trips to the lumber yard, hardware store or hauling loads of compost for the garden.Rob kept me informed throughout the diagnostic process and broke down the costs for each issue. All my problems were addressed and taken care of in a timely manner at reasonable prices. This was my first experience with Hi-Tech, but they have earned my trust for future repairs.

We realized a few weeks after the thermostat in our car had been changed that it was causing problems. Hi-Tech arranged for a replacement (the supplier realized it was defective) and had it installed within a few hours, with no charge to us. Car is running great now.

I have been using HiTech Auto for several years. I first started using them in 2018 for my work truck. They installed a trailer brake kit on my work truck and since then have replaced my clutch and other stuff. 100% would recommend. I grew up in a family who owned an auto repair business (in Texas) and honesty was the number one priority next to quality of work. I feel like I get both here. Honesty and quality. The owner is very respectful and listens to your concerns. Sunday morning I got a check engine light. Tuesday morning I got the car to Hi Tech. They said they could look at it on Thursday or Friday.I know they are usually booked up quite a ways out, so I mentioned that I would also come back in a week or three for a routine maintenance, oil, filters, and so on.Wednesday mid day I got a call that they had not only fixed the engine light problem, they had also done the routine maintenance.The other reason I keep coming back to these guys is that they are really good at stress reduction for the human owner component of the system.Service: Engine repair

My car required work because of work done previously by a shop hours away.Rob and his staff thoroughly investigated the issues taking photos along the way. They communicated effectively with the previous shop, explaining the problems and sending the photos. Thus, a good chunk of the work was covered by the warranty issued at the previous shop.Rob and his staff thoroughly and patiently explained things to me, using models and diagrams.I am very pleased and impressed!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been taking my 2016 Mazda CX5 to Rob and his crew for a couple years now. They always get me in very timely. Always accommodating, friendly and do a great job on time and reasonably priced. I recently had to take my 1991 Jeep Cherokee in because i got bad gas.... they did their best to get it done as soon as they could. Much appreciated. Service is always excellent! They do what they say they will do in a reasonable time frame. They communicate thoroughly and explain things I don't understand, while pointing out concerns. This shop came recommended to me when I asked another shop to recommend a reliable auto mechanic as I had recently moved to Bellingham (that other shop doesn't work on cars as old as mine).What a great recommendation. Work price was at market and matched the quote given. The work was done quickly in the time period stated. Rob took the time to explain thoroughly what further work might need to be done and offered to call my previous mechanic in another city to better understand what had been done. He took the time to explain options and possible scenarios, including doing nothing!I highly recommend High Tech and am grateful this shop is willing to work on my 1995 Honda!Service: General repairs & maintenance

They squeezed time to fit my truck in for diagnostic check, then schedule a time time fix the problem at that time. We had a boat trailer that was in pretty bad shape from the broken actuator, brakes were seized and lights weren't working properly. Even before I brought the trailer in for them to look at Rob was very upfront on what would be needed both part wise and estimated cost to get it back to road worthy. I accepted his estimate and brought the trailer in. Before starting the job Rob took the time to call me again and go over all the details and the revised estimated cost which was greatly appreciated. I accepted and they completed the job on time and pretty well spot on to the estimate. The trailer is like new and they did a fabulous job and I wouldn't hesitate recommending Rob and this team.

Called and requested an estimate for my 2008 Acura RL. The turn around was quick and transparent on charges. Mechanic told me he probably won't offer the cheapest service but told him looking for a mechanic with great reviews at a great price. This place definitely fit the bill and was impressed with the diagnosis of my car. Would have worked on it but I do not have all the tools and time to go in myself. Was impressed by his thorough work and professionalism. Will definitely be coming back. Service: Auto maintenance

Hi-Tech repaired my truck as soon as they got their hands on it. I depend on my work truck to run every day and when it does not run it is a big set-back to my day. They repaired the Flex-plate, exhaust manifolds, engine mounts, sparkplugs, and the starter on my Chevy truck. We've taken our cars to Hi-Tech for almost 20 years. We trust Rob, Dale and Rob Jr. to take care of our cars. I trust their judgment. They have again and again fit us in when we've had emergencies. And, to top it off, they are likeable people!

Rob and Tristan both always greet me with a smile. This time I needed the Air Conditioning looked at. It was only cool for 30 miles or 30 minutes! My car, 2008 Honda CRV, has 217,000 miles, all miles are original, one owner; I am hoping to get 300,000+miles out of my CRV; Rob, owner and Dale, shop manager & mechanic are going to get me there! They are experts in their field, honest and fair in their pricing, also thorough and vigilant in their inspection and follow~through care for all maintenance longevity... bonus: a clean shop!Thanks Rob and Dale!
