Tim was fantastic! He fixed up my bike after an accident and restored it to a condition that was better than before the accident happened. Really an artist and is a great communicator as well.

Got a rear flat on first ride with new bike this past summer. The owner got me in next day, helped unload the bike, and got me rolling fast! Will definitely call on them again for my moto repair and maintenance needs.

Very friendly and helpful. I m relatively new to motorcycles and have an old Honda that needed some obscure sized tires. Tim spent some time checking around and was able to hunt some down and got them ordered. Really appreciate their help.

I Went in today for tires. and have them looking over my bike after a small wreck. and check some repairs that I did myself. I am new to motorcycles and have found an instant new passion and a great therapy for me. Tim was very helpful and got me in and out in under an hour. I really appreciate you for taking care of me today. I highly recommendj

Tim is an incredible guy! I had a really quick weld job on a scooter that nobody else in town could do. Although he doesn't normally do scooters and had a schedule packed to the brim, he squeezed me in and fixed me up for a really good price. Best experience I've had in town by far.

Disclaimer: they don't like to work on sport bikes. My experience today was getting turned down by the owner. He just simply didn't want to work on my motorcycle and the issues I was experiencing. I am rating them highly because Tim was very honest and straight forward with me, without being rude. I can absolutely understand when a shop is too busy or something is not in their wheelhouse. I value highly the shop that tells it to me straight rather than rudely brush me aside or try to price me out of a service.Good guy.

I had a mishap at cyclegear with my wheels and tires and ended up destroying Cycle gears machine. Someone who happen to be in the store described this shops location to me and told me the owner of this shop has been doing his tires for 10 years. I called and spoke to Tim told him the situation, he told me if I came pass that day he would get my tires mounted and balanced in 30 minutes. I was a bit skeptical because getting tires mounted and balanced same day is almost a myth usually tire appointments are at least a 3 or 4 days out. Tim and his associates kept their end of the deal. Good service professional attitude and one of the best recommendations I've gotten since moving to bellingham. Tires mounted, balanced, filled and 90 degree stems installed in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend - shop is geared more for dirt and touring riders

Came in at 3pm with my wheel and a tire I had bought from offer up. Told me he was super busy then asked where the rim was at. I said everything is outside in my car. He took it and told me to check back in a half hour. I was out the door then for half the price of other places in town. Tim is an awesome guy and I will bring him all my work and recommend him to everyone with cycle needs.

I was on my way up to Alaska and my rear brake started leaking brake fluid. I called the dealer in Seattle and the dealer in Denver and neither could help me out. Tim figured out a way to get my bike up and running using a part off a dirtbike caliper rebuild kit. Amazing. He was also extremely fair and friendly. Great find.

Tim has helped me twice now. A couple years ago when he serviced my 2001 650cc Yamaha after I had neglected it and had left it sitting for a couple years. Price was more than fair, work was excellent (how may I say that better?).This repeat customer is also happy to say that when it came time to buy new tires Mr. Tim Johnson saved me money yet again! I had priced-shopped a couple different local shops for tires from "off their shelf". Tim offered exactly what I wanted (grip: soft tires) and did so at a considerable savings and without much delay (what's a couple days to me? Tim custom ordered them). With every expected charge covered in precise detail before work was begun there was yet again a considerable savings.I almost feel like I'm sharing a secret because his markup is low, the service is nothing less than great and the only way I could suggest that he might do better would be if he weren't quite as busy as he is. But, of course, this high recommendation is designed to increase his work load because he's just that good.Cordially,A very satisfied customer known as "Sparrow Hawke".FOLLOWUP COMMENT:I did not go to Tim primarily because of price but he did install new tires and a new battery all for less money than what was quoted by two other local shops. In reference to money saved my quip to Tim was: "You're worth every penny that I did not pay you!"

Let me start by saying that Tim at Cycle Therapy is some of the greatest people I have met. I am a brand new rider and came her for my new used motorcycle to be inspected to see if it's street safe. He did a full inspection and told all about what was good and what was bad. He ended up sanding my gear shift lever to make it fit right as it was the wrong size, and did other maintenance that somebody else would charge an arm and a leg for. His prices are extremely reasonable and I highly recommend giving Tim as much business as possible. Purchase your accessories there and give this man your business! he truly deserves it! Born, bread, and raised in Bellingham! By far my favorite repair shop I have ever been to, car or motorcycle! Thank you Tim!!

Tim keeps things real, honest, and helpful. Fought a Keihin carb on my WR250f for weeks and hounded Tim with questions, advice, and parts. In the past I've used Tim for everything from tires to valve shims. Call Tim before you order online- the dudes got it all local and worth a visit.Knowledgeable rider run shop.

I am traveling cross country and picked up a nail in the rear tire. Didn't know where to go for repair. Called 5 shops in the area of Coupeville working outward. Finally called Cycle Therapy. Helpful, knowledgeable, professional, fast, friendly, trustworthy. Yep, highest recombination.

I'm sure he does good work and all, but I won't do business with a shop that won't at least meet me halfway.I asked if he would install tires on my bike if I brought them in, he says he doesn't offer that kind of service. Then he points to the wall and says "I have a wall full of tires in stock, I don't stay in business by installing someone else's tires".Luckily for me, other places do.If it's a matter of money perhaps he needs to charge more for his labor. Shop hourly charges are 90-100 dollars an hour, I routinely get charged 1.5 hours for simple tire change.

I'm relatively new to town, so I thought I'd check out a few shops on my days off to find one I like. Then if I need something, I'll know who to call first. When I walked in, the only guy in the place was washing a foam air filter in the sink in the bathroom. The door was open and he was easily visible as soon as I entered the shop. I thought that was unprofessional. I asked about tire mounting prices for bringing my entire bike in vs. just bringing the wheels, because most shops charge less if you pull the wheels on your own. He immediately started going off about how much he dislikes people who order tires from the internet and want him to mount them, and that he only mounts tires that he sells because people who use the internet are trying to rip him off. That's his choice to establish a policy, but it wasn't necessary to yell at me for asking a question. At no point did I say that I wanted to bring him tires from the internet. It must be a sensitive issue for the guy, and he took it out on me. Next, he started trying to lecture me on which tires to buy. I told him I have experience with different tires over the last 11 years, and know what I want after my current tires wear out. He kept talking down to me and force his opinions on me. I told him repeatedly that I don't need tire advice, I was just curious about the prices, but he continued. He would not stop, so I walked out while he was still ranting. It should be clear by now that I will never go to this shop again.

I've been Tim's customer for several months. At first I chose him over others based on the touch of humor in the name Cycle Therapy alone, which, after knowing him in person, does reflect his. This is on top of other good qualities of his I've since discovered, including competence, honesty, fairness, easy-going-ness, accommodation and even generosity. His work place is immaculate, his work is meticulous, and when it comes to finding parts, he does it with economy in mind. When I deal with mechanics, I usually have a slight sense of unease about perhaps getting overcharged or whether unnecessary work is done, or even claimed to have been done. With Tim, I have peace of mind at all times.

This shop is absolutely the best I took my motorcycle engine there it's a 2009 Yamaha r6 road race bike (track only) that spun a crank bearing at PIR it's a highly built motor from an out of state engine builder so I didn't want to attempt repairs myself. I called a few local shops to get prices and I told them all that this was a purpose built race motor making / 131 horsepower at the back tire on a 600 CC motor. two of the three that I called said "yeah just drop it off will take care of it " when I called cycle therapy and told him this he asked me a ton of questions about the motor and said he would have to do a ton of research on it he was the first shop to do this! I've been dealing with motorcycle shops for a long time and unfortunately when they tell you something might be damaged... Well... Even if it's not damaged chances are you're going to pay for it! When he told me that my #4 valves may have been hit by the piston ... I just kind of thought ...well I'm paying for valves.. oh well.. when he contacted me a couple days later and told me the valves were fine, you could have knocked me over with a feather! I cannot stress enough how much I highly recommend this shop! honest, fair, and did I mention honest?!

Tim ordered, received and mounted my tire in less than 24 hours. Faster and cheaper than I could have done online. I will ride my bike up from Anacortes to do business with him again! I couldn t be happier.

Very good prices. I blew my cr80 rod bearing and he was very helpful and gave me the best advice. I came to cycle therapy because I did not like bbrp. When I found out I had to replace my piston he let me look online for one or buy one from him. Highly recommendable if you want very good service for the best price and advise.

Cycle Therapy is the only place I will go in the future, they were super helpful when I needed the complex carbs rebuilt on my 83 virago and were very fairly priced for all the work it took to get my bike up and running!

Tim was very rude and couldn t stress enough how busy he was when all I had were a few questions about my bike that he barely wanted to look at. Overall bad experience not the first time I ve come here but it is the last he sold me a throttle cable that didn t work as well

As far as I'm concerned Tim is my savior and a tremendous asset to the motorcycle community. I'm in the process of shipping my dream bike from British Colombia to the northeast US and in the interest of saving me several hundreds of dollars on shipping the seller graciously offered to truck it down to Bellingham for retrieval by the freight company. Problem was I needed a local business (preferably a dealer/shop) willing to store the bike for a few days.Well I called a couple dealers whom were either unwilling or reluctant to offer their services even when factoring in monetary compensation upwards of $30/day! I was getting discouraged then low and behold I gave Cycle Therapy a call and Tim came to my rescue. Without a moments hesitation he offered to store the bike not only for zero dollars but also for as long as necessary. On top of that he offered to look the bike over, take pics, and give his professional opinion once the bike arrived. Tim is a top notch human if you ask me and were it possible to send kegs of beer through the mail, one would be on the way for him!
