I rarely will spend my time reviewing a business but following my most recent interaction I believe this will help others from making the same mistake I made. I had 4 small superficial gel coat dings cared for by this group a year ago. Yes I understand this was one year ago but I noticed that the section under the boat pulled while cleaning the boat that sits in the lake all summer. I showed a friend that does fiberglass work and he suggested I take it in to have them repair their work. When I stopped by today I showed the manager what I was talking about and his first statement was that this is basically my fault. He followed up with why am I bringing it to him if I have a friend that does fiberglass . I told him because I spent $1800 for a simple job and I thought he would like to see it and fix his own work vs having me take it to someone else. His words, I don t need your business take it to someone else . I stayed professional through the encounter but am quite frustrated. I would have accepted they can t guarantee their work but in the hostile manner he treated me, it is simply unacceptable. If this is the type of customer service they offer, I highly suggest finding another place to go!!!

As a lifelong marine industry professional, I support my fellow workers. In the case of B&J, it was an expensive & time consuming mistake. I'd be happy to share the details with anyone but don't think this forum is meant for the level of Scott's pathological behaviors resulting in poor technical & criminal actions. (Yes, I had to call the police) I paid his extorted fees to get out of his negative orbit. Now I'm left with a camper worse off than when I brought it to them.One star doesn't describe the nightmare

Worst experience ever. Charged for work that wasn't done, and what they did do, was done wrong. Charged 5 times the original estimate. Terrible people to deal with.

Unprofessional does not even begin to tell the tale, complete lack of customer concerns ( twice as long to do the job), what was once good is now to be avoided at all costs, a nonsense of meaningless business practices by an abusive partner, beware of the nightmare rabbit hole you may fall into.

We pulled our boat out for a quick bottom paint job and ran into an unexpected issue with the keel. In a pinch, we called B & J fiberglass and we are so glad that we did. Our issue was looked at immediately and the quote we received was spot on. The quality of work could not have been better and the timeliness was shockingly fast. These guys are awesome!

I have been working on our boat at the adjacent boat yard for close to a month. During that time I relied on B&J for my fibergalls work. It appears that they can take on huge jobs (saw multiple yachts in their facility) and still the owner, Floyd, made time to talk me through my repairs and sold me the products that I needed to Get-er-done. Really can't overstate the high level of service and good care that I felt working with Floyd and his crew. B&J is a great nexus of skill, experience and great service...enjoy

Avoid this company, incredibly unprofessional and unethical. Broken promises and a huge delay for our repair. Go anywhere else.
