These guys are my new go to when I need assistance with classic car repair in Bellingham. I needed to get my 1949 Plymouth running a bit smoother for my wedding and I kept putting it off until just days before the big day. They got me in and provided a fast oil change and tune up and we were able to drive away from our wedding day without issue.

Took my Jeep WJ in to Armstrong Family Auto Care for a second opinion on my rear differential. Alex diagnosed and verified the issue correctly and prior to beginning work on my vehicle called with a quote at a great price compared to other shops in the area. Armstrong Automotive will be my go to shop from here on out and I highly recommend. Excellent customer service, communication and reasonable quotes/prices.

Took my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan in for a much needed tune up. Alex explained everything that needed to be done, gave me a very affordable quote, and had all repairs done within a day (and ahead of schedule). So pleased with the service and communication.

I was searching for a master mechanic for an oil pan gasket and a rear seal replacement for an uncommon car and finally found this shop. We had our van diagnosed accurately and the repairs done at a reasonable price. They were very good at researching some hard to find parts. We will be coming back here for a break job on our truck. They were up front and communicated our options with us. We recommend their services.

Honest and trustworthy. Alex is always willing to set my appointment to when its convenient for me. He never trys to tell me something is wrong with my car that isn't. He always gives me his honest opinion and advice to make sure my car is running safely.

Went there for a wheel bearing replacement, 2 days later my perfectly good power steering hose mysteriously sprung a leak. A day after he fixed that, my car died on me on the way home. This time I had a family member look at my car for me, the altornator had been disconnected by the mechanic and not plugged back in before he gave me my car back. Whether it was deliberate tampering or not, I can't say for sure. Very unprofessional and the hose installation was way overpriced. Never going back there, it caused nothing but trouble!!

Been in the automotive business my whole life. Ive known Alex for a while and not often do you find someone with his type of work and moral standards. Put the typical automotive shop stereotype aside and be confident you will be treated well. Always a joy dealing with Armstrong.

Armstrong is taking on two unique projects for me so far. The first is suspension work on a super rare 1993 Mitsubishi Delica JB 500 Japanese camper van and the second was a 3.4 swap on a 1989 Toyota 4runner.They have done an excellent job. If you live in Bellingham or anywhere near that area and have a 3.4 Toyota swap for the 5vzfe I would highly recommend having it done here.
