Who does not get ripped off at almost every auto shop you can go. Not here. Never. Expert work, professional and customer oriented service. Not going anywhere else. Ever. Thank you Shane!

I always recommend this place for all your needs. They have fair prices, usually below competitors. They get you in and out quite quickly and can give you a very accurate quote over the phone without having any additional check before telling the price. I have gone here a few times and each time they didn t have a specific part in they are able to order it and usually get it done same day. Always appreciate going to this place and will always trust them to work on my car!

I had another shop look at my car for 5 mins and quote a bunch of things I knew were not needed. I took it here and they did the work that was needed and were super quick and efficient and confirmed that the other stuff was in fact not needed. Great experience with these guys. Shane was my mechanic, and I actually had to talk HIM into replacing some of the suspension parts on my '96 4Runner of 400,000 miles that were still serviceable but that weren't OEM (from another shop) and I didn't have confidence in. They did not try to upsell me on any unnecessary parts or add ons, whatsoever. A&B+ did a great job of communicating when a part from a vendor was delayed, and they kept my rig inside for the extended stay of a couple extra days to make sure it was secure. Couldn't have asked for a better outfit, everyone there very friendly, helpful, honest and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. Obviously the guys that work there are treated well, because it shows in their great attitudes towards their work and their customers. Highly recommend this place for any work!!

Got a wheel alignment done on a Mercedes ML320 with an off road lift kit and larger tires. They did an excellent job in a short time while I waited for the truck. Took my car into Alignment and Brakes as my experience with the franchises has been that they always come back with "more work needs to be done" on this vehicle. Shane, the owner, told me exactly how much it would cost. The alignment did not cost a penny more, and I was out in 30 minutes. They do not try to "upsell" you. I'll be taking my vehicle back to Alignment and Brakes for any future work needed.Service: Wheel alignment

Most honest mechanic I ve ever worked with. I went into get my brakes done and they gave me an estimate on worst case but after looking at it they said I still had life on my brakes and could wait a while longer to change the pads. I ve never had a mechanic look at my car at tell me it can wait and save me money before most do the job anyways. I m extremely impressed and grateful. I highly suggest coming here if you want honesty and good prices!Service: Brakes

These people know what they're doing and if you have an issue with your suspension, alignment, or steering system, they will get it done. I've had unique issues with my highly modified off-road truck which many other alignment shops couldn't help with, but this shop was able to give me a great solution. However, be very wary of you do work with them; although their work is quality and very professional, they aren't very honest and often lie about issues you don't have and add many extra unnecessary charges to your estimate and repair bill. Get a second opinion from another shop before trusting their diagnosis; however, once you know what actually needs to be done to your vehicle, they will get it done reliably and professionally.

Worst place to get your alignment done ever. They take advantage of people that dont know about cars. I got my van aligned there. They didn't align it properly. Van still pulled to the right. Had to get it done at another shop where people were honest and courteous. Had a car balanced there as well. I left the shop with my car shaking worse then when i brought it in. I was told i needed to change some parts to make it right. Got it inspected & balanced at another shop. Problem went away. Do not recommend this shop to anyone.

A friend of mine recommended them, and I had a really good experience trying them for the first time today. Price was a LOT less than I had expected/feared, and they thoroughly checked that the problems I had (check engine light, and overheating) was fixed, and they did it really quickly and efficiently. I don't know much about cars, so I really appreciated them being straight with me, cause I wouldn't have known the difference had they said that more needed doing. The problem turned out to be really minor. Leaking coolant from a bad radiator cap. $113 bucks for time and parts. I have a new place to bring my car. I have taken my vehicles to Shane and his amazing crew for years. They have worked on three different cars (95 Chevy Cavalier, 93 Toyota Camry, and a 2005 Honda Civic) during that time and have done a phenomenal job. They have always treated me fairly and given me great prices. They have even discounted my services when circumstances didn't go my way. They clearly care deeply about their customers and their service is top notch. Highly recommended! Best mechanics in Bellingham!!!P.S. John is the best!!!

I couldn t be happier!From my first phone call to when I picked my vehicle up after the repairs were complete, the process was seamless! The service write, Joel, was knowledgeable, answered all my questions with patience, let me know what needed to be done right away, and gave recommendations for what needed to be done soon. He was very thorough and made it clear that I was leaving my vehicle in the right hands. I have, and will continue to, recommend them to friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else willing to listen. Highly recommended. This local shop is very honest unlike some of the chain shops that always try to make you buy unnecessary parts or service. If anything is needed they will contact you right away and let you decide. I had two of my vehicles serviced here and they always were quick, courteous, and professional. My steering wheel was tilted and after receiving just a front wheel alignment my car drives like new! Call them up now and make your appointment, don't bother going to those chain locations that only want your money.

Quick and efficient. Diagnosed my problem over the phone and confirmed it when I dropped it off. Had it done quickly and for a fair price. I refer my customers to Alignment & Brakes Plus often, but this is my first personal experience and I am beyond satisfied. Well done guys. I highly recommend Shane and his team at Alignment & Brakes. More recently got brake service after losing brakes in snow. They got me in same day. Brake fluid needed to be flushed.Had lower ball joints replaced on my 07 Taco. While there were some communication snafus that might have cost us a day, my overall impression is that they're conscientious and competent. Had a couple of conversations with owner who is super cool and left me with very positive impression regarding his character. I brought it back for an alignment check after a few weeks and they were very cool about taking care of it. They saved me $500 off dealer parts price as any non-dealership service should. I would use them again.

Shane and team are awesome, straight forward. They do solid, reliable work at a fair price and they're not going to try and sell you stuff you don't need. Ive used them for a number of our cars and trucks and will continue to do so in the future.

Great service!! I needed same day brake service and the staff were super friendly and able to squeeze me in despite a busy schedule that day. Also, the prices seemed reasonable for pad/rotor replacement.

We had a "must do" brake job on my daughter's 2013 Ford Escape. They were very accommodating with getting us in, allowing us to leave the keys, and park the car overnight. They were in constant communication letting me know what was going on and just how bad the brake job was. They were more than fair with their assessment and their pricing. Shane is coming in tomorrow (Saturday) on his day off to make sure that everything checks out okay and we get the keys.With the constant communication, the willingness to go above and beyond, and the service, I would recommend without reservation, Alignment and Brakes Plus.

We have now purchased two cars from Shane and had nothing short of excellent service. I took my boyfriend's car for an oil change elsewhere. They checked everything out and quoted us more than $1,300 to repair the brakes. I took it back to Shane and his sales rep said that's absurd and only charged $660 for all of it. They did an outstanding job at half the price. Shane and John have amazing customer service and I highly recommed this shop to everyone!

I wish we would have found Shane a couple years ago, as we have been to multiple shops $$$ trying to get a suspension problem fixed. Shane and his team were able to diagnose the problem, get the proper part and work with our schedule to get the job done. These folks are very transparent and fair. Amazing service! Went in for an alignment on my jeep and ended up needing more then just that. Pricing was fair and I'd definitely recommend them to everyone. John was especially nice and when I brought the family to come with me to pick up the vehicle he was beyond amazing with my little ones. We found our new shop. Thank you!

These guys took the time to look over my vehicle and explain what needed to be done. They were unwilling to accept any money for their professional assessment and instead steered me to another shop to have the work done on my lift. After I get what needs to be done to my vehicle, there is no doubt I will be using this trustworthy shop to work on my Jeep!

The BEST place to take your vehicle for anything! Friendly staff, great prices, & most importantly, INTEGRITY, which means everything to me! I had work done on my car there in the past, but just this week, I called regarding needing a new truck battery & explained my limited finances, so the owner, Shane, referred me to Pacific Power Batteries, who were just as amazing as A&B Plus. It saved me over $100!Unfortunately, most auto shops treat women poorly, as if we're clueless, & they take advantage of us, financially.You will NOT find that level of disrespect from A&B Plus OR PPB!Thank you all so much for making my life so much easier & treating me with the utmost respect! I will continue to refer your business to everyone I can!

My experience with this company has been nothing but positive. I first heard about this through a body shop close by their location. My truck has been having brake issues for some time. I took it to two other shops with no improvement. When I took it to Alignment Plus the owner took the vehicle for a drive and returned with recommendations. He was spot on as I found out when the repairs were completed. Great job!! The shop isn't much to look at, but they know what they are doing and I would highly recommend them!!
