If you're a fan of Guzzi or Aprilia bikes, you don't really have another option in the Seattle area other than Optimumum Performance Motorsports. It's a very tiny space, but they make it work. Good service department, and sales goes okay, until it doesn't. I want to love this shop, because it's close to my work and I love Guzzi bikes, but they really should hire some more people to help out the one guy handling sales, service, parts, etc. Follow-up could be better, but more employees would immensely help that.

My initial experience was a bit rough - however, after discussing it with Alan, his team and being patient with the current COVID filled scenario everything worked out just fine. Thanks you guys - I'll def be back for the quick shifter for the 660.2023 edit: Consignments is something that needs to be revisited: I recommend the company look for another freelance company to manage their site and Facebook, or allow direct employees to handle listing edits. Note this is not the fault of the direct employees here, but rather of the 3rd party vendor they are using. Some of the years mentioned on the existing models are incorrect, while one of my bikes hasn't been posted now coming on over a month.

For the repair shop - they do good work, but customer service is very bad... someone picks up the phone maybe 10% of the time, and their voice mailbox full so you can't leave a message either. email is also a dead end. If something doesn't go to plan, it can take many days to figure out what's going on because of lack of communication. This shop's management definitely needs to hire more people to deal with customers!

Great experience. Salesperson pulled out multiple bikes, let sit on them, and gave me tons of info.

This place is a hidden gem. I just bought my first motorcycle from here, and they made it a very pleasant experience. they were very patient with me and were more than willing to teach and show me all the things a new rider needs to know. the people who work here are very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the products they are selling. they have bikes for people who are well seasoned and bikes that are good for people like me who are just starting and everything between.

Excellent and friendly service, Tyler; he was great to talk to and quick on getting numbers. Best service I've seen as sales go. Their track days are also enjoyable to go to

I previously took my Yamaha R6 to another shop nearby and did not receive the level of service that I was looking for. Alan at OPM is courteous, professional, and down to earth. His employees also took the time to talk about my bike, riding experiences, and ways to get more out of my riding experience.Do yourself a favor and give these guys a shot. Worth your time and money.

So I really liked the selection. The bikes available and services beat the norm by a long shot. I m really not a big fan of the guy doing sales / customer service. He s way far on the pretentious side and it wasn t exactly pleasant dealing with him. He made snarky remarks and acted full of himself. The kind of guy that makes you feel like you are being judged by pulling up on a Honda....The rest of the guys were great! They were friendly and personable and didn t seem like you were wasting their time. None the less I will not be returning. I did not like dealing with the gentleman working with me. Not to mention he didn t even say hello when my friend and I pulled up because he was too busy boasting about himself to another client. Not a fan of that attitude at all, get over yourself.

Like another review, just wanted a simple tire swap on the bike. Unlike other shops that were too busy to fit it in, they did the tire swap on the spot within 1 hour. Great service and great people, will be going back.

This shop was a referral from a friend who participates in their track program. Very surprised at the staff's willingness to answer questions and help on even the most menial of requests. Allan is fantastic and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend checking them out before hitting the local dealerships. On top of everything the in house tuning options makes it a great one stop shop!

Allan was very friendly and fit me in for a suspension check the day after I called him. He checked my bike free of charge and is helping me dial in my new bike. The shop is awesome and I can tell it is a place I ll be going to from now on!

I was in the market for a used moto guzzi crusier for a few years I finally found one in my price range with low mileage on Facebook market at optimum performance. I called them up and received excellant professional honest answers about the bike.i purchased it and had a really smooth transaction. I am now a proud owner of the bike I've always wanted.i would recommend these guys to anyone they run a great solid business.

Little concern over getting parts in a timely manner. I ordered 3 little parts on 7/15/2020. Just got them today. Without getting into all the details, these guys dropped the ball on a number of occasions. Everytime I called, they were oblivious to my order; saying they would check and call me back. That never happened. They had no problem charging 100% of order, then letting me wait for 5 1/2 months!

Great place to get your motorcycle service/ worked on or buy tires. Alan worked on my bike and walk me through the questions I have and how to do certain things on my bike. Amazing staff and very knowledgeable. Be sure to join their partner "OPRT" on the track to improve your riding skills and understanding of your motorcycle.

Alan and Adam (and everyone else too, I am sure) at Optimum Performance Motorsports are superb! Adam talked with me at length about the used bike I was interested in purchasing, is an excellent mechanic, and has the cutest shop dog Jenny, right there by his side! Alan the owner is tops as far as answering questions and giving excellent customer service. Alan still answers my questions about the bike (I bought it and love it, GO GUZZI) and is super friendly, knowledgable, and great to talk to. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with my purchase and will not hesitate to recommend Optimum Performance Motorsports to anyone and everyone. Thanks OPM!Jon Farmer

Mike is super cool. Called up other shops in the area just to swap my tires, but most were booked out for a few weeks. Mike got me in the following day after I called despite having a busy garage, and swapped my tires while I waited in just about an hour. It was fun to parouse some of the bikes he had in the shop while I waited as well!

I'm not a customer: I'd never been there before. They didn't know me from a hole in the ground. I was in a foul mood and tired: after riding in the rain, my gear was more than a little damp by the time I found the place. But, despite that, when I dropped in at 4PM with a decade old bike I was looking at buying, they squeezed me in for a safety inspection. And after giving some pretty great advice, they didn't even charge me for their time.It was a single interaction, so take it for what it's worth, but the guys at OPM seem pretty awesome. I'd go there again.

I've got work fine on my Honda CBR 1000RR and Yamaha R6 here even before they started the Motoguzzi and Aprilia dealership. Allen is extremely courteous and helpful. These guys are not trying to make a quick buck, and will provide you with the most sensible advice. For anyone wanting to get repairs or upgrades on their sport bikes, I highly recommended this place. And wishing Allen and his brother the best of luck with the dealership!

I couldn't be happier with the service I have received from this group. Just had a problem this past Monday and had to have my baby towed to the shop. I arrive on a day they are closed and there is Michael, working hard as always. Was able to leave my keys and know that my bike is in the best of hands. This group is always up front and honest and always takes care of me and my bike. I drive a 1900 Roadliner Midnight and they keep it safe for my daughter and me.Also Nels with the dyno-tuning is amazing as well, I don't ride a crotch rocket but after Nels has tweaked my bike this old fat man can give them a run for their money. The expressions on their face when they see me keeping up with them is priceless. I think if I let Nels he could make this heavy cruiser pop a wheelie with no problems. If you need your 2 wheel baby taken care of this is the place to go!Highly recommend.

TL;DR: Stay away.My '04 ZX-10R needed some servicing to get it ready for the track. While I usually do most of the work on my bikes, I felt better having someone else who is (hopefully) more experienced take care of it this time.I opted to take it to Optimum Performance Motorsports in Kirkland for a few reasons. The shop is about 15 minutes from home, they are associated with OPRT (who runs track days locally), and they told me that they would be able to check out the bike and make sure that it will pass tech inspection at the track.I scheduled a service and asked that the brakes be flushed, the coolant changed out for water wetter, an oil change, the old gas (5+ years old) in the tank be drained, and the forks serviced (new oil and seals). I also asked for new tires to me mounted and a LiFePO4 battery (which I had already purchased) be installed.Only three of these seven things were done, and there are problems with all of the work which was completed. When I picked the bike up, they told me that there wasn't much gas in the tank and just to fill it up with something fresh. Luckily I have some tubing and I was able to drain about 1 gallon out of the tank. They told me that they hadn't flushed the coolant because what was in there didn't look bad. That's great, but that's not what I asked for.I was not given a reason why the forks were not serviced, even though when I dropped it off they told me that it was needed due to some oil which had seeped past the fork seals when I tied it down on the trailer. I didn't notice this until I had loaded the bike on my trailer to head to the track.A hose from the fuel tank overflow was misrouted when the bodywork was re-installed.The rear hugger had one fastening bolt removed from it to make space for the higher profile tire. This is understandable, but they didn't mention it, nor did they return the fastener which had been removed. This got called out at tech inspection for "loose bodywork". (Fixed with a zip tie and extra bolt.)One axle spacer for the rear was installed backwards so that the chain adjustment index mark is not visible. The lock pin that I had safety wired on the castle nut had been replaced with a split pin. Neither is a big deal but it's annoying. I need to remove the castle nut and re-install the spacer correctly next time the chain is adjusted. I think I have more pins in my tool box.Last week I plugged the bike into an LFP charger, which almost immediately showed an error light. I went to check the battery and found that there was a no-name $30 lead acid battery installed of the much more expensive LFP battery I had purchased. When I called the explanation I was given is that the tech doing the work forgot that I'd brought in a battery. This is despite the fact that I'd called to check on when I could pick up my bike and reminded them that I'd dropped off a battery with the bike.My brakes began to fade about 15 minutes into my track sessions. Either they weren't bled correctly, or a low temperature fluid was used. I'll need to redo this work properly.I'd like to support a local business, and especially one that attempts to support racers and track riders. But after seeing the work they've done, I won't be going back.

These guys are awesome! I have since gotten to know them, and are some of the few remaining "deal on handshake", "do what they say, say what they do", and "underpromise over deliver" kind of people and run their business the same way. I'm their next door neighbor, and also am subleasing space to them. (As they are so awesome, they are running out of space!)We own Kingsgate Car Wash Systems, and Kingsgate Car Wash. Look for The 440 soon.

I recently bought a 2007 Aprila Scarabeo 500 which had some cooling issues. I was planning on taking the bike on the back of an RV to move across the country but it wasn t rideable. I was freaking out with only 2 weeks till the trip. These guys have been nothing short of amazing so far in trying to get my bike up and running in time for our departure. Thank you!

Amazingly quick and courteous service with transparent pricing. The staff at OPM are all clearly dedicated to everything motorcycle and experts in their field. I saw everything from a high mileage Suzuki commuter to a two-stroke dirt machine to a $50k plus custom supersport. While they seem to specialize in all things racing, if it has two (or even three I suppose) wheels, there is not a better place in the region to get it serviced. I had to bring my Guzzi in after she sat for over a month at the dealer I've used for 15 years. OPM had the oil changed, brakes checked, and even new tires ordered and on by the end of day. I found my new shop, now I just need to get on the schedule for a dyno tune on the dyno that they share a bay with.

Hello everyone, Smokey here.I have had a roommate bring his bike in and they promptly took care of his bike and he was on two again. I brought my 07 cbr1000rr in for new fork seals and had a set of Showa forks and brembo brakes. Micheal tried to swap them twice for me and was quick and awesome as always. I recommend these guys to all my friends and will continue to bring my bike here. See you guys in Monday !

Asked to have front tire and chain replaced. They replaced the front tire, but told me there chain was good for a while longer, and to wait until my rear tire needed to be replaced.Refreshingly honest.
