Horrible car service with inflated prices. It feels like the boss of this establishment is taking them out of his head. what can be done in an hour, he considers labor as 3 hours. Who needs a car made with high quality, quickly at an adequate price, I know mechanics from Ukraine. Write me for contact.

Friendly staff. Great mechanics. I'd always recommend these guys! Only shop that's ever told me... "this isn't worth doing, save your money." Talk about integrity! Every other shop tries to sell me a repair that's not needed... 100% recommend!

I've been coming to Brett with my small company fleet for repairs for the last few years. We always receive friendly, prompt service and I have never had a poor repair from them. They have even looked at my cars a few times and let me know things were okay for no charge, I feel this is such a kindness compared to our Toyota dealership which charges $200 to even look into an issue. Thanks Brett and the whole staff! We appreciate you!

These guys are amazing. I came to them because I thought it was time to do some services. They checked everything and told me I should be good for another 30K miles. Free of charge!! Instead of doing a service that I didn't need and charging me $$$. Jeep dealership wanted $2K for this same job. I don't remember the last time a business performed a service for me and then said 'It's on the house'. I will certainly come back to this place.

They totally could have lied and replaced my brakes. I was ready to shell out $1k for the service. But they called only an hour after drop off and told me I still had 60% of life left on my brakes. They didn't even charge me to look at them. I'm so happy with their honesty I'll be doing all of my future repairs here!!Service: Auto brake repairService: Auto brake repair

UPDATE: I just had to come back and reiterate what a great guy Brett is. We requested a brake change because of squeaking that we heard. He ordered the parts needed and we dropped our car off. Later that day once he got to our car, he let us know that we still had a lot of life left on our breaks and that the squeaking was due to another small issue that took a little effort to fix. He told us to come pick up our car, no charge. He could have easily just changed our brakes per our request and charged us - but he's a stand up and honest guy! We could not be more pleased.3 YEARS PRIOR: Knowledeable and fair. They won't nickel and dime you.

I really appreciate a repair shop like this for a number of reasons. Unfortunately, my car has been in their shop twice this month. Fortunately, they were by far the quickest out of all the local shops to book me, finish the repair, and the price is very good! On top of that, they're very friendly and I was able to drop my car at 6am and pick it up at 10pm since the general store portion of the shop is open much earlier and later than any standard repair shop.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Brett is the man. Always there to take care of my car issues when I need him... I have been going here 30 plus years now. Before it was Barry doing the same thing for me... Never cheap but far from the most expensive. Also if it is warrantied they assist with that too... No need to go anywhere else.

These guys have been fixing my cars for almost 10 years. They are the only shop that has ever told me. "I checked this out for you, it was good, you don't need a new one yet" I had another shop tell me I needed a new alternator and battery. I remembered my battery had a warranty. Took it back to them, it was only a couple days until the warranty expired. They pulled one off the shelf. Installed it. Tested the alternator, said it was good. I drove away without spending a dime. The other place was trying to charge me over $400. It's hard to find a shop that's honest! I'll always take my cars here, even if I have to tow them there. Also, thanks for everything Brett! I appreciate you guys!

I've been coming here for 3 years now and feel very lucky to have found them. They are honest, fairly priced, and don't try to sell you on unnecessary repairs. What you came in for is what gets fixed.My first experience here was with a rock stuck in my brakes. They didn't even charge me to remove it. I've been coming here exclusively since then.

This place is one of the last remaining bastions of transparent automotive service. If you want to walk into an auto shop where you don t have to second guess yourself, this is it. The fact that they don t need some fancy sign to tell you they re in business should speak to the loyalty they have from customers returning for decades, or in my case, generations.

Walked in due to suddenly low pressure on tire, get it fixed in 10 mins, been asked for like 20 bucks.What should I say - those folks are awesome.

I've been going here since 1995, with dozens of minor to major repairs on several different vehicles. They always do a great job courteously, and I have no doubts about their honesty or competence. On the two occasions in 25 years something went wrong after a repair, they always made things right at no extra charge. They're super handy for drop-in quick repairs, like headlight changes.

We live in the neighborhood and have been using their shop services for the past 12 years. They have serviced our Ford Contour, Subaru Forester, Subaru Legacy and Toyota 4Runner. Always friendly and helpful. Willing to answer questions and help with projects. Good turn around times. Fair prices. I can trust their skill level and never need to worry that I'm getting ripped off.

We have been getting our Toyota's and Honda's fixed by Newport Hills Chevron since it was run by Corky (the father) in the mid 1980's. The Boys are now running it (no longer boys I guess). Anyway, they are very professional and knowledgeable about everything I have ever taken to them. I trust them more than the newbie mechanic at the dealer, they have just a lot more experience. And even more, they are exceptionally honest about what you really need done or don't need done. Their prices are less than the major dealers charge so its a win on every point.

Great mechanic service. Took my car in last summer just for help getting the belt off to change the alternator (YouTube gave me very bad advice). The mechanic came out, showed me how, offered assistance or tools and ended up doing the quick change for me at no charge. Only took <5 minutes but a very nice and generous gesture. I'll be taking my car in next time.

I was on a long road trip from Kansas and was expecting to be in Seattle for four or five days. I had car trouble and could not find a place that could even look at my car within seven days until I was referred to the Newport Hills Chevron. The staff there was very responsive and got me in, evaluated and fixed - all within three days (two days really since I dropped it off near the end of the first day). The fix was relatively simple and they were honest about the problem. I'll always be grateful for their professional, fast and integrity driven service.

We've been loyal customers of Newport Hill's Chevron (Corky's) for over 21 years and through many vehicles. The mechanics are highly skilled and excellent to work with. I recommend them to whomever I can. We've recently moved down to Auburn, and I still use them!
