On time and very detail service,David, the Service Advisor, provides more info about my 2004 Toyota Van. This is an old car, and for sure there are some parts need to be replaced. Same as the seniors. Some portion of my body are not in good condition either.But, he just gave me a very good suggestion to leave the minor problems alone. Just keep driving.Thanks for the great service. I will recommend to all my friends when they need car maintenance or car repair or oil change.

Karl and his team at Greg's Japanese Auto in Bellevue have been taking care of our cars for about three years. In addition to scheduled maintenance, they have helped us with several unexpected problems. Karl, who we deal with directly most of the time, has been friendly, prompt, transparent, patient, reasonable, and generous with us. We are very pleased with the service we've received.

I am so happy I found Greg s. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and then they took the time to quickly replace my battery after they had finished my service!I did not have to wait, at all. Great service and very nice employees!

Excellent and very friendly service from Dave & Karl at the Bellvue location as always. Really appreciate their help identifying and managing problems with my 2001 Infiniti QX4. The mechanics are knowledgeable and thorough.

I m so glad I found Greg s Japanese Auto. I have a 2003 Subaru Outback with lots of miles and as I am finding a new car, Greg s took extra and detailed care to keep me on the road. I was very impressed with their last minute availability and how they prioritized my vehicles mechanical needs! Great job! Thanks David for all your advice!

We normally take our car to the dealer but not anymore! We made an appointment with GJA and got in right away. Not only did they tell us what was going on with our car and what we needed, but they also told us what we did not need. The dealer would try to upsell us every single time we took it in! Greg s Japanese Auto has excellent customer service and we couldn t be happier. Thank you Greg s Japanese auto.!

The men who worked in the office were a pleasure to talk to. Getting my oil changed and car inspected was a no stress experience. They found everything in good working order and did not try to get me to do preemptive work.

Had a negative experience at the location in Lynnwood, but decided to give the Bellevue location a chance. My truck's got over 330k miles on it, and I'm pretty aware of what the issues are (seeping leaks, etc.), so it's nice to get confirmation of the issues, but also helpful tips to keep the rig running, which the guys at the Bellevue location definitely do. Will keep coming here.

NOT recommended in 2023.I took my cars exclusively to Greg's at Bellevue, between year 2016 and 2020. Initially the service was great and the staff was nice and friendly. They had a courtesy shuttle as well so I didn't have to spend extra on transportation. They were more expensive than your average car repair but I didn't have any reason to complaint.Things started deteriorate toward year 2020. Staff acted condescending and sometimes straight up rude when I spoke something technically incorrect about cars. I mean, come on, if I knew everything why would I even show up at your shop, and honestly I'd never seen a one who used their expertise not to provide great service, but to feel better about themselves. They no longer gave free shuttle rides either, so on top of the already higher charge I had to spend $$ on uber and what not.On my last visit they broke the handbrake on my miata which was working perfectly before. So that speaks for the service quality.Yesterday I made a call, three years later, to query about the last time my miata had a transmission fluid change, since my memory failed me. They told me over the phone, with a mocking tone, that it is a manual transmission car and therefore does not have any transmission fluid running in it.First of all, this is false. Even assuming their good faith, so maybe there's miscommunication involved, perhaps the transmission fluid is referred to by a different term among you guys at the shop - did they really feel like making a technical correction here is the way to go? They clear had no interest in finding out what my car needed.I am leaving a 2 star in honor of the good times when they were still quite decent in many ways. Note that Greg's has many shops open in different areas and this review only applies to the Bellevue one.Edit: changed to 1 star for the copy pasta response from them. No I'm not interested in wasting my time reaching out to you, thanks.

Went in for an oil change. Good price. Real professional and respectful. I asked about other issues the car may have and they were awesome and didn't try to upsell me. Quick work and would definitely go back. Thanks guys!

Terrible experience getting an oil change here. Right off the bat the guy at the front desk is cutting me off when I say I would like a brake light changed. Yeah yeah we always do a full vehicle inspection. Took two hours, even though I had an appointment. I come back, the brake light bulb is not changed, and they are closing. Gave them my phone number to call when ready. Of course they call my boyfriend s number instead. Cherry on top is when they lost my keys and I had to use my Tile to find it. Never coming back.

Service was OK but the 10% coupon was not honored they say because you can t have two coupons but if you individually visit two separate time they would honor it

Poor customer service, the manager from this facility refused to look at my vehicle & give me a full estimate on repair cost.I did visit other repair facilities and gave them the vehicle information. The challenges I am facing with my vehicle.They did give me an estimate on repair costs If I were anybody else I would watch the manager here & get a second opinion.He doesn't want to work on my vehicle because it is a 20 year old vehicle. Is this the way you treat all your customers? Remember! It is because of customers like us you are in business we pay your salary!!!!

Updated 6/9: District manager Mike Millsap and Lynnwood shop manager Alex Loaiza have resolved my issue. My car has been completely repaired at no cost to me and they gave me a loaner car to use while it was being fixed. I m very happy with the outcome. This was an unfortunate situation but they ve definitely made it right.They replaced my timing belt, water pump and oil pump and left me with a stripped bolt on the third cylinder. When it was discovered it was popped up 1.5in. Literally the only mechanics to ever touch the engine since I ve owned it yet they state it wasn t them. Bolts don t just get stripped from wear. It requires effort, I may not know a lot about cars but I know that. It repeatedly throws engine codes P0303, 0134, overheats, shakes terribly. My car is ruined, they wouldn t even look at the damage, and they couldn t care less.

I had an excellent experience at Greg s. Paul and Karl were so helpful and fast. I needed a simple repair on my car, and they had me in and out in under an hour. I felt like they were very affordable as well. My husband and I both have Japanese vehicles and we will exclusively use Greg s for all of our work.As an added bonus, their loyalty program helps you save money on future purchases.
