If you own an NA/NB Miata, please read. This shop will not mount a 205/50r15 tire to your 8" wide rims, they'll tell you the tires are too narrow, which is true on paper. In practice, a slightly thinner tire gives you a stiffer sidewall and better corning response / stability particularly when trail braking. I don't blame them for this, it does require a little stretch. They also refused to put an 8" wide rim on my Miata, said "it won't fit under the stock body", neglecting the +35mm offset. The people were kind, but I had to take my project car to Les Schwab to get my wheels installed- they had me in and out in just two hours and I liked talking to the techs about my car.

AVOID THIS PLACE! If I could give a negative rating, I definitely would. This place isn't worth even one star! I had an appointment with them on 03/25 to change my winter tires. My appointment was at 5 pm, but I still had to wait in a huge line for an hour, then wait for another hour to get everything done with my car. When they gave me my car back, they hadn't put my winter tires back to the trunk, and the wheel cover was missing! Then it took another 30 minutes for them to find the tires and the wheel cover. So, as a result, they came back without the wheel cover and said they didn t know where it went, and that they could order one for me in this case. Today, when I called them for updates, they said they had no idea what I was talking about and that they hadn't ordered anything. So they suggested I come back again and deal with it once more! I have to spend an insane amount of time coming back and forth because they don t know how to do their job! Once again, AVOID THIS PLACE!

Well, maybe something got mixed up with paperwork or the new guy put something where it didn t go. Dropped my car off early morning as I have a broken valve stem. Conversation was new sensors, balance tires, and new valve stems. Go to work, get a call around 3pm that the car is ready. Show up pay $385, get in my car, tires read same psi as when I left, (low and unbalanced) valve stem is still broken, zero work has been performed. Lady tech was helpful and apologized, she was nice and made a bad situation better. I am now off work, in my dirty work clothes sitting in waiting room for last 2 1/2 hours. Friday happy hour plans crushed into smithereens. Not understanding of why this happened. Hopefully isn t a regular thing. My experience was a poor one.

Before I moved to this area I used to go to the location in Totem Lake. I moved to this area expecting Discount Tire stores should maintain the same standards and service throughout all locations. I would have to be honest, I think this place is mediocre. The employees clearly don't get paid well and they don't seem to enjoy what they do. I went for a winter-to-summer tire change appointment and left with uneven tire pressure on my SUV. They also forgot to replaced my rear wiper that I paid for. I would probably have to switch to another tire shop going forward.

I have to give a shout out to ADAM. He helped me out with the purchase of my wheels and my tires on the first day. They had to be ordered as they were not in-stock items - and I had to wait about a week for them to come in. Things were off to a good start. The day they did arrive, a Thursday, I received a call from a gentlemen around 8:30 AM that said that they were in and ready to be put on. "What time could you come in?" I said that I could be there in 20 min. He told me that there was just one person in front of me and that it should only take about an hour.15 min later I was there and in line to be seen. Great, but there are a few more people there now and it looks like the computer is telling me I am not going to get out of there until 12:15 PM. Thank goodness I brought my laptop to work from the waiting room (free Wi-Fi).At 11:50 AM my vehicle was still sitting in the parking space I had parked it in when I arrived. I went to the desk to see what the hold up might be because I had a meeting to get to and it didn't look like getting out of there at 12:15 PM was going to happen. Nope, it would be best to reschedule... "What, I thought there was one person in front of me at 8:30 AM?"Unfortunately, getting the wheels and tires in that day, and not having a scheduled appointment, they were trying to squeeze me in that morning before the rush... but the rush got there before I did. There were no spaces left in the day and I would have to book for another day to be certain that I would have a spot. "Let me see if I can move this meeting?"....I was able to move my meeting and they were able to get my vehicle up on the rack within the next 30 minutes. However, that night going to the store, I was on the highway and I reached 60 MPH and the steering wheel began to shake. The wheels where out of balance. Was it a rushed job, a novice technician, or just bad luck. Back to the tire shop I go the next morning. On Friday morning, Adam's "Monday", I arrive and tell Adam about my "less than stellar" time at the day before. Not that it was anyone's fault, just the luck of the draw. He apologizes for the inconvenience and has them rebalanced... or so we thought.Once again, that weekend, on Saturday, I was on the highway again, and when I hit 60 MPH the shake in the wheel started again. I would have to wait until Monday to go back to the shop.I was at the shop at 8:00 AM first thing on Monday morning and Adam saw me at the door before they were even open. He was the one who came to open the door for the customers and came to me specifically and asked right away, "Same issue?" "Yep.", I said.He told me he was going to balance them himself and take care of my issue today. He took the key and off he went to the truck. My truck was the first one on the rack and the first one off that day... and I took the highway home... NO shake. To make this long story longer... remember. There are people there in front of you. It's not a 5 min job, it's not McDonalds.Things happen. They are trying there best, they don't want to do a bad job.Be patient, be kind, and understand they are there to help you.The way they treat you and how you treat them is really what matters. Great job, Adam.Thank you!

Came here for a flat tire repair, waited 3+ hours only to show up and have them tell me they couldn't fix the flat because the wheel had been repaired at one point. Said it was "corporate policy".Literally never heard of this nonsense excuse before, especially since I had these tires mounted at a different discount tire. This was after hours at this point, so the next day I had to make another trip, to the Les Schwab literally right next door and they were able to fix it for free without any complaints.I'm not coming back to this place because my time is valuable. Waited 3 hours only to have to go back to a different place the next day, on a Saturday and wait all over again.

Bought new tires here last month and one of them started leaking air. Got an appointment at 10 for them to look at it. After waiting over 90m I finally watched them pull my car into the garage to work on it.I can understand short staff or other problems, but there's been no mention of any issues. Every time they come out they offhandedly say to the next customer "Sorry about the wait."I regret buying my tires here, and I won't be back.

With deep sadness I need to leave a 3 star review. The staff was great and friendly. I love the separate line for walkins and appointments, and overall good communication (texts with status, emails, I even got a call confirming that my tire is in the shop). However:I installed new tires on my vehicle. One of the tires was 5 psi over inflated (it had 40 psi, the remaining 3 were spot on at 35psi). This should never happen in a store in the business of installing tires. I'm glad I checked the pressure myself the next day after installation, but I shouldn't need to, straight from the shop.

Thank you Ryan and team for taking care of my car on such short notice. They were able to replace the tire the blew out under warranty and order it the same day. Also inspected the car and replaced the sensors that weren't working. Thank you so much guys.

I have trusted this Discount Tire in Bellevue so much that I brought my Audi Q7 there for a new set of tires. I liked the guys (Mitch and Chris) when I checked in. I hoped the technicians did a great job when I left. Unfortunately, I was wrong and so disappointed that they damaged my wheels when they swapped out the tires. The wheels looked pretty beat up with markings and scratches. The assistant manager-Mitch agreed to file a claim with their insurance. It's been 3 weeks and the adjuster has not contacted me. I just want the people out there to know it's happened. If you bring your beloved car here, take a lot of pictures before the work and examine their work carefully when you pick it up. Don't be a victim like me.

They couldn t figure out how to put my spare tire back into my mini cooper and they had me waiting far too long for a simple procedure. Felt like a Highschool auto body classroom. A bunch of kids running the show I ended up having to physically help them at the end to get my spare tire back on. They technically broke their own contract with me that said they would be done by a certain time. I watched several other patrons get upset and just leave. One person had too repeatedly ask for her keys back to make her kids appointments. My car ask damage from where they tried too essentially remount my spare. The thrill of getting new tires was diminished by these abject failures. I

Lies and Dishonest... Bought my SUV in for Free simple tire balance and rotation. Appointment @11am but drop it off @8:30am. This location can be very busy. No big deal. The balance weight on my front passenger side was coming off the tire. Perfect time to do the balance and rotation. Came back around 12:45pm. The associate said, you're good to go. Drove the SUV for about 5 mins started noticing the small vibration still. Hmmm what could it be? Got back to work look at the tires and I notice there was no sign of fingerprint or sign of the tires was taken off the car that they worked on. Looked at the front passenger side wheel that originally had issue with. The old weight was still hanging or about to come off still there. I have a dashcam so I view that video, saw that they did pull up to the stall and sit for about 2-3 mins and backed out and parked. Came to my conclusion that this Discount tire didn't even rotate or balance my SUV due to they were "busy" and lies about that they did. Why did you waste my time Discount tire?

Made an appointment, and they got me scheduled the very next day. I arrived early just by dumb luck with traffic, so they took me early, got me done before my scheduled appointment time, and got all the paperwork done in a matter of minutes. Fees were exceptionally low for this (overpriced) area.

I made an appointment because my front tire was leaking air. When they checked my car I was told that my tire was worn out and it s no longer safe to drive. So I purchased one tire because for some reason my rear tires are still good and the left front tire is still okay. I told them that I already have a friend who has a dealership ordered new tires for me so I just wanted to replace the bad one asap. I waited about 1.5 hours for them to replace my tire. Next morning my new tire was completely flat. I called discount tire and told them about what happened, I was a bit irritated because I couldn t even drive my car back to their shop. Thankfully I managed to put air in my tire so I could at least drive my car back to the shop without having to tow it. They helped me right away when I arrived, 30 minute later they told me that my wheels is cracked that s why the air was leaking. But they couldn t repair my wheel so they suggested I call wheel repair shops. Long story short I ended up buying a set of wheels but I had to order them because they don t have em in stock. Frank installed a temp wheel while I wait for the new ones. Frank was really helpful and very kind. He provided a better solution and delivered excellent service. My experience wasn t perfect but Frank helped me big time. He is knowledgeable he knows what he s doing and I like the fact that he puts his customers safety as a priority.Frank, thank you for going above and beyond! I am very grateful.

I m consistently disappointed with Discount Tire. They have a great selection but their customer service is severely lacking. I ve waited weeks in the past for warranty replacements with no way to drive my car. The most recent was they sold me tires but were unable to balance because they couldn t figure out how to get the center caps off and a galled thread prevented them from removing the spare and putting the fourth tire on the car. I had the spare off in 15 min when I got home and Les Schwab fixed the bad stud and balanced the tires in less than 2 hours. I m finally done. I ll order tires online from here on out and get the local mechanic to mount and balance. It s not worth it to deal with these headaches any more.

Good place to get your tires filled. The wait was insanely long. We ended up being tied to the shop for over 7 hours. They wouldn't allow us to leave and return an hour and a half before the estimated time that they would get to the car, which is ridiculous. There was no reason to make us sit in the shop for 7 plus hours, and then wait 30 more minutes from the estimated time for them to finally get the car in. The car was sitting in the same spot we parked it in for almost 8 hours. What would the big deal have been if they allowed us to leave say for 5 hours and come back. It was so busy there was no chance they would get to our car within the first 6 hours. I wish they didn't have to make the process so unbearable not allowing you to leave.

Went there in September with a front tire sound. Nice guys looked and found no problem. When leaving I saw the front hub cap was missing. Surprised they didn t say anything. Went back in and asked where it was? They said they broke it and would send it to me. Now it s December and still no part. Half the time I call they claim there is no manager to deal with. 3 weeks ago promised they would fix the problem, but it s almost January and still not one call or still no hub cap.Jan 27, got cap in mail, wrong color WRONG cap! They should know how to order correctly.

I Bought 4 Rims for $1,000...went to get them put on & Was told to come right now & It Would Take About An Hour. So Got there & Was Made To Wait. Car Set Up On Rack With No One Working On It. Finally After Lying About The Time They Put My Rust Lugs (16) of them back on My car , Keeping My New Ones. I Complained To Corporate Office and a Guy From There Name Christopher Promised To Make It Right & Send Me A Check ...That Was Over 2 Weeks Ago after telling me 7-10 Days! So Now I Got To File A Complaint With BBB & Attorney Generals Office. I Am A 68 Year Old Black Senior Female Citizen who have Spent With This Company.

Adam was super helpful throughout the whole process. He made a small mistake but owned up to it and went above and beyond to make it right. The place was packed and he greeted every customer with a smile and never sat down. He works hard to make sure customers are taken care of.

The best tire shop. Service is good - free rotations, tire repairs and they do it all with a smile. They do get busy at times for walk ins but with appointments, I have got prompt service.

What a disaster... Bought tires through tirerack and had them delivered here for install. Once installed the TPMS was throwing errors saying all pressures needed to be checked as the TPMS was reading zero. Pointed out the issue to a rep from Discount and they insisted all I needed to do was drive on the tires for a bit and the TPMS would recalibrate. Didn't bother explaining why they thought that or do any other basic checks like checking tire pressure, despite acknowledging he was concerned about the air level of the tires. I tried to ask more questions and he just walked away. After driving 10 miles, the TPMS is still giving warnings and reading different tire pressures than what a pressure gauge reads. After checking the tire pressure myself I found 2 were overinflated, 1 was under inflated, and another was right on the margin of being okay. Now that I've inflated the tires correctly, I'm taking my car to a competent place to fix the TPMS and will pursue a refund from Discount.

This review is for this particular store and not Discount Tire overall. I have been a customer of Discount Tire for over 20 years and I have used them for all my cars. This specific store has always been an anomaly in terms of professionalism and customer service - and not in a good way. They happen to be the closest store for me but going forward I'll be driving out of the way to other stores. This store gouged marks on the wheels for my McLaren and then insisted that they were probably preexisting rock chips. These are gouges that are all right next to where the TPMS is and they were all on the same spot in all the wheels. Now mistakes happen and I have had the Discount Tire in Kirkland put a nice round scratch on the wheels of my BMW. But in that case, they took responsibility and handled it (with a check for the repair) without any back and forth. This store refused to take any responsibility and dealing with Fleet Response, their contracted company for any claims, is a nightmare - both this store and fleet response treat you like you know nothing. What was most infuriating about this store is one of the managers who talks to you like you know nothing about cars. Well if these guys are the experts how about taking a little pride in your profession and make sure you do things right in the first place? I ultimately took them to small claims court and they settled right before the court date. So if you are in a similar situation, don't get frustrated trying to deal with this store or with Fleet Response. If you feel you have a real claim, take it to the courts - it's not difficult to do and its important to drive accountability. This store is very unprofessional in how they operate. They leave rims lying on the concrete floor with nothing under them. Now if you have a nice fat tire that's not a problem but if you have a more fancy rim with low profile tires then that's just inviting scratches. It would cost them nothing to perhaps lay the rims down on some cardboard or just stand the tire upright?I also had my SUV with them for fixing a flat (again closest store) and they broke the stud on the wheel hub! They actually have a preprinted form for us to take it to a local place they contract with to get it repaired for cheap - I wonder how many times they do this if they have an actual process and form for it. Again, I had to tell them I will only get it fixed at the dealer - Acura recommends not repairing the hub but replacing it which is what I did. They did pay for it quickly but again the whole hassle of having to do repairs, send in invoices and dealing with fleet response etc. could be avoided with just a bit of care when doing their job. They also told us it was "totally fine to drive with a broken stud" when pretty much every automobile publication tells you not to as it stresses the hub and the rest of the studs.Overall terrible experience with this one store. Now with Discount Tire buying TireRack I hope the whole industry doesn't go down the drain with such unprofessionalism. I will give their Redmond store a shot but if they do things the same way, I will have to switch out to one of the indepedent local stores.

Great service by the individuals who did the work. The appointment process was worthless. 2 hours from the appointment time before the vehicle was in a bay. And parking was abysmal. Next time I will go to Mule or Schwab

I have bought tires at this store for over 30 years; they never disappoint. On November 2, 2023, my "check tire pressure" warning light came on. I immediately went to Discount Tire where employee "Julia" added the air where needed. After driving around for 30 minutes (per her recommendation), the annoying warning light would not go off. I went back to Discount Tire where Julia eventually solved the problem, but not without her having to look thoroughly through my lame manual and then having to look up on Google what buttons to push in my MINI to get the warning indicator light to shut off---not even Lake City MINI could solve the problem over the phone without me having to bring my car there; but Julia didn't give up. She continued to service the other customers who were also in line for their pressure check all the while trying to fix my problem.Problem solved...Kudos to Julia!!!
