The best service ever! April at the front desk was so kind and helpful. The mechanics got the part very quickly and turn around was less than a day. I will definitely go back for the brake work I need done in a few weeks.

Last Wednesday the 11th of October at 4:40pm I buttoned up the shop and jumped in my company Transit Van to head home. Dead battery ! I got a jump from the manager next store and drove straight to Ali s. Even though it was 4:50pm they verified they had the correct battery and installed it. They were awesome, stayed late and got me back on the road.April, the shop manager, and Matt the technician really provided excellent customer service when it counted. I brought my Explorer in because my AC stopped working.PROS:-They were able to get me in pretty quick which was amazing.-They allowed me to purchase my own parts and bring them in (I have a friend who gave me a good deal on parts and they would arrive faster).-Since repairs took longer than stated the got me a rental car.CONS:- Customer service is not the best-They gave me the wrong parts to order. When they went to install the parts, they didn't know they were wrong and caused damage to the radiator because they were trying to force the part to work.-They made me pay to replace my radiator since I bought the AC pump. I made sure to buy the part they told me to get.-The repairs took longer than they stated.-They told me I bought the wrong radiator. I was very specific and asked them which radiator to get. They measured wrong and admitted fault.-They put the radiator (wrong part) that they tried to install in the back of my Explorer for me to return. It leaked fluid all over the back. Thankfully I had a rubber mat. When I showed them the spill, the front desk lady gave me a roll of paper towels. They didn't even offer to help clean it.-I asked for a garbage bag to put the radiator in. The front desk lady told me they didn't have any. I had to ask about the ones they use for the garbage cans. She found one and told me it was their last one as if it was a huge inconvenience to her.Overall the experience was not good and I won't bring any vehicles here again.Service: A/C installation & repair

I ve been here a couple times for oil changes and then more recently bigger car issues. I ve called last minute every time and they are always able to fit me in and get the work done before the day is done. They are honest, kind, and do quality work. It s so hard to feel trusting of car repair places when you ve had bad experiences, I have ZERO complaints about this place. I m so happy they are in business, and look forward to calling them any time I have issues w/car. I was on my way back to Canada. My EV had issue after finished charging in the station besides their shop. My husband went to ask them for help and they came to help us right away! My car got fixed and they didn t ask us to pay anything, not even a drink that my husband offered so I wanna say THANK YOU here they re good mechanics with kind heart

Never take your vehicle there!!They put the wrong coolant(green)in my truck and the tech lied, saying that's was what was in my radiator. I always use only Ford Gold Coolant, so I showed my receipt/invoice from the Ford Dealership where they flushed and cleaned my cooling system, and refilled with Ford Gold Coolant. The 2 different Coolants should never be mixed together. They also overcharged me by doing work that wasn't necessary. They charge a diagnostic fee of almost $200, and then charge again for the same service. I assumed diagnostic(s) means searching for a diagnosis of the problem. Please heed my words.. Don't go to Ali's Auto Repair .......update: 7/2023. I set up an appt at Autonation Ford of Bellevue on 7/6/23 for a Cooling System Flush. They have a machines that hooks up to Cooling System, using pressure to extract all old coolant while cleaning system and refilling with new Ford Gold Coolant/Antifreeze. Ali's Auto Repair paid for this service but due to the coolant contamination (green and gold coolants mixed) Ford recommended doing it 2x. Ali's wouldn't pay for that so I will get it done again in 6-12months..I then contacted BBB. But as Ali's is not a member of BBB, I decided it would be a waste of time and energy, and anxiety. .As I let Ali's know I was considering filing complaint(s) and Small Claims Court..they quit communicating with me....Please save yourself $$ and problems/troubles don't take your vehicle to Alis Auto Repair Bellevue....

The best auto repair there is!! April at the front desk is soo welcoming and helpful and the owner Ali is just, amazing!! Friendly, fast, efficient and at such an affordable price, this is the only place I d ever trust taking my vehicles for any sort of issues. They will always be the first ones I call! Did not use the business,. Called in to get alternator replaced. The lady said if you want to diagnose it s $85 additional. This diagnosis is free at stores like oreilly parts and takes less than 3 minutes. I tried to explain her that wouldn t you do a basic diagnosis even before anyways replacing the alternator and she said no. I didn t get a good vibe and friendly message here. I get it that if I would have called and said I have a battery light - they charge $85 for diagnostic. But here I have them information and expect them to do a quick double check if the alternator is indeed bad. When I mentioned I don t want to move ahead in that case, she didn t care for the getting the business . Looks like they have enough :) (which is great and am happy for them).No ill feelings but I felt that the business values $$ more than customer satisfaction. A 3 min diagnostic should not be $85. I am usually pretty cool with whatever they would have charged reasonably for the replacement itself, but nickel and diming on diagnostic as simple as this is not earning trust.

Ali's was fantastic. They communicated well and were very resourceful in repairing my car after it was broken into and had various parts stolen. I called to get a quote on putting plastic hubcaps on my car and he tells me he won't charge me for it.I was shocked and happy!I got in on the same day and they worked on my car soon as I pulled up. Took no longer than 10 minutes. They were kind and asked how my day was doing and making small talk which a lot of people don't do now a days.I gave the mechanic a tip for his time and was pretty satisfied for this quick and friendly service!Great business!

One of my friends had a part hanging out of her car's bumper and we went to several other places before going in here. Other places took our appointments for which we have had to wait around 15-30 days. We went to this place and the mechanic came out to look at the issue. The fix was very easy and he fixed it there itself without charging us anything. Extremely impressed by their service.

This shop wanted to fix things that were simply were just fine. One item in particular that was a red flag to me is they wanted to change my oil and said "The oil is dark and needs to be changed," when I changed it myself 6 days before bringing it in. That was a bad first impression for me, and made me feel like I couldn't trust them to work on my vehicle. The cost of labor is very high @ $170/hr (average for Bellevue is $130 to $160). They also choose the most expensive materials, but I would like to have a choice in how costly the materials are.

This is the first time we used Ali's Auto repair as I usually use Les Schwab who only do tires and oil change. I had flooded my car and needed spark plugs replaced I made the mistake of having someone else who was not a professional install a new starter whom messed up the wires with my cars alternator(lesson learned). Alis Auto repair was able to fix everything in a timely manner and for a decent price.The person who is at the service counter had excellent customer service skills and was very sweet and professional. He did not look down on me or my family for our poverty status and my disability. We were treated like any other affluent customer and I really appreciated it. They have a five star for me because due to my disability I cant take public transporation. Some people say a car is a luxury for some in the disabled community our car is a lifeline.Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ali's Auto Repair. Five stars all the way! I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience with Ali's Bellevue Auto Repair. Ali is one of the only mechanics I've ever truly trusted. He is knowledgeable, straightforward, accurate, and efficient. Each time I've brought my vehicle in for repair or service, I have been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. I made an appointment recently to bring my car in to have a faulty fuel part replaced. At first I was concerned the wrong part had been ordered so Ali researched it on the spot for me and assured me it was indeed the correct part. Even better, the job was completed in under an hour! I know for a fact if I'd had it repaired elsewhere, it would have taken at least half a day and would've cost much more. I will continue to bring my car here as long as I have it (244K miles and still going, thanks in part to Ali and his team). Keep up the great work!

I traveled to Bellevue from Spokane for work. Upon arriving to Bellevue my Tundra displayed a red battery light my alternator was needing replaced.I called 2 Toyota dealers and a handful of other shops to try and get a same day or next day appointment, however nobody would take on the job for a let least a week. I called Ali s and spoke to Wes; who was GREAT to work with. Not only did he agree to try and fit me in the same-day, but promised he d have me up & running again no later than next day needless to say I was shocked & impressed that they got my truck right in and by the time the shop closed for the day I was driving my newly repaired truck.I d highly recommend anyone in the Bellevue or surrounding areas needing vehicle repairs to contact Ali s Automotive Repair. A stellar group of guys who seem to really care for their customers. I know if I ever have another need for repairs - I ll be calling Ali s first!!!Services: Electrical repair, Battery

Took my 2010 mustang in with them. They identified the problem as fuse box. Spent over $700 in this shop. Took the car back a week later the dome light start blinking and the window passenger side was not working took it back , they wanted another $380 to diagnose these problems plus the labor and parts. So if I were you I would do more research.Service: Electrical

I've been taking all of my vehicles to Ali's for over 5 years now and I can honestly say this is the best mechanic/auto shop I've ever used. Everyone at Ali's is professional, knowledgable, but most importantly, honest. I'm extremely wary of mechanics as the stereotypes tend to be true (sell you stuff you don't need, scare you into additional purchases, etc.), but Ali is different. Before they do any work on your vehicle, they will inspect it and go over the report with you. Ali and his staff will tell you things that may need to get done over the next year, or stuff that looks great. I've never had a negative experience here. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing service you receive. In addition to this, the work they perform is top notch. I've never experienced any problems with any repairs or maintenance I've had done here because they put the time and effort into doing the job right.Finally, the best aspect of Ali's is the peace of mind I get knowing that when I drive away, I didn't overpay for anything and the parts of my car that needed maintenance got fixed the right way. I didn't get sold anything I didn't need, and the service was timely and efficient. I strongly encourage you to come here for your future car maintenance. I know I will continue to use Ali's until I either stop driving, or the shop closes.

I took my car for repair with multiple set of issues and my car was not in a fully drivable situation. Upon a referral from my friend, I took my car to Ali's Auto repair. The work on my car was exceptionally done, and my car is fully functional now without any issues. The staff along with owner spoke well and were very friendly. They even made me understand what exactly the problem was and made me love my car even more. The prices are very reasonable too. Thanks Ali's Auto Repair for your excellent service.

I got a very high quote for a radiator replacement from another shop, so I called around to find the best quote I could get for the actual repair. Ali's was very nice and did give me a quote over the phone that was much cheaper than the initial quote at the other shop and in line with a few others around the area.Ended up picking Ali's out of the good quotes because they're open on Saturdays and then since they're near work I was easily able to get my car after they were done. Car works great now and even better, my final bill ended up slightly less than the quote they gave me! :)Neither you nor I should expect that every time, but what I'm getting at is that there were no bad surprises here with their costs at least for my clear-cut service need, and I'm happy with the repair they provided me.

Recently a friend had recommended I check out Ali s for my next routine maintenance on my 2014 Chevy Volt. I had the opportunity to get the car in today and they did a great job; they even squeezed me in on short notice. Having grown up with several friends and family engaged in various sectors of the automotive industry, I always find myself paying close attention to how a shop performs when I am in for a visit. Ali and his entire staff are without a doubt some of the best in the business. Finding and retaining skilled technicians is extremely challenging these days. Ali has done well by assembling this team, and I will not hesitate to take my car there again in the future.

Summary, always ask for what is the 'price' for each action they will do, must be specifically if you do not want to be as angry as I.I used to fix my car here, and Ali's used to be good. The owner is good at all kind of knowledge and he lets me know how each single cent I spent for.However, when I revisited it a little bit more than one year later, it totally changed. I came here for a maintenance and just wanted to see what happen to my window as it cannot lift. When I got the bill, it is 170+. OK, the labor to check why my window doesn't work counts for more than a hundred bucks, but can you let me know ahead please? When I stopped by another mechanics, they said it's a quick check and they can do it free in like 5-10 minutes.They showed me the policy, the diagnostic is at least 159+ USD, and they have already given me the discount. I have nothing to say, but can only be so regretful trusting them so much.I will never be here again. Or if I will be here again, I will spend at least 10 minutes to identify all actions and their 'cost'.

Brought car in to get noisy exhaust fixed. Was quoted a reasonable price. Picked up car and was told it was good to go/quiet again, but in fact it was just as noisy. Immediately showed Ali, who pointed out the repair was not completed (even though 5 minutes earlier he told me it was and charged me the full amount). Even though I was lied to about it being fixed, and later told it was not fixed, Ali would not work with me on getting a full or partial refund. I do not recommend this place. The price was good, but the work and communication were not.

I would love to write a positive review about Ali's Auto Repair but unfortunately I can't.My vehicle repairs were completed over budget and over time.Not only that, my vehicle has new problems as a result of bringing my car there. The repair wasn't quality and actually messed things up more.And after several thousands of dollars I simply won't bring it back there because I don't trust them to fix it.Hopefully they can get it together because if you're like me you can't afford these disasters in your life.

I've been going to Ali for about 7 years now and he's always been transparent, communicative, affordable, and friendly. It tough to find someone to trust when one isn't savvy with cars, but I've never had any reason to not trust Ali. I say this because I've never gotten any "surprise" large bill items that weren't obviously necessary after all of these years though it would've been easy to slip-in if he was a dishonest businessman. He's a great and I always recommend him!

Out of nowhere our cars check engine light came on and our car started shaking like crazy. We were far from home and were too nervous to drive it home. We looked up Ali's online and hoped they would be able to help us. It was right before closing. After we told what was going on they took a look and squeezed us in to get the car back to road safe. They could have turned us away or massively overcharge us for the inconvenience, but they didnt. They took care of us quickly and charged a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend going here.

Ali's fixed my suspension, performed a wheel alignment, replaced my idle air control valve (with finding a more rare part), and previously replaced my timing belt. They are professional, clear communicators who provided great work with a great sense of humor and customer service. I have given my car for Door Handle replacement. Its a simple thing and trust me they did real poor job and I have been to their shop 4-5 times in 1 week to fix same issue. Everytime they say the issue is fixed and when I go back to their shop on Lyft/Uber and check , issue will be there. Finally I lost my patience and asked for a refund. They will treat customer well and they talk nicely. But they have to get the work done correctly and on time. As we are paying the money how much they demand, they should not do poor job.Service: General repairs & maintenance

As a new business owner, Communication is Key for Customer Satisfaction. I dropped my Car off mid day on a Wednesday for a Thursday Service. Friday Morning my car was still being worked on with no communication they were still working on it. After voicing concerns as I made arrangements to be dropped off and pick up my car as I said I would upon drop off, Their process was expedited. Then I receive a $450 Invoice. My suggestion would be to do more research on all of your options. My particular service could have been $200.00 Cheaper by going a little further up to Kirkland. This one is on me. Lesson Learned!

I've been going to Ali's for several years now and he's always done exemplary work. The service is quick, the work is thorough and I always trust that Ali is honest about the state of our vehicles. I recommend if you are looking for a place to take your car to come to Ali's Bellevue Auto Repair!
