Bought a 1962 Ranchero that had motor mounts replaced here and this is what they used. Wrong part for this car and these bolts should never be used for anything with a torque setting.Service manager seems well aware of these issues and doesn t have a problem with this kind of work. I would take my classic car elsewhere.The motor is not the stock motor and that was enough to throw them off. They managed to make it fit but these bolts just don t look safe to me. Particularly the long skinny bolt.I don t think they looked very hard for mounts. I have a set for a 62 Falcon and they look like they line up perfectly. Totally different style of mounting.

This morning I ran out of gas due to a faulty fuel gauge and I coasted into North shore auto works parking lot just before opening, Ill admit my final resting place was far from ideal as I barely coasted in, I asked one of the early bird employees if he could spare a gallon of gas so i could get this heap off of his property so i wouldnt be in the way and they could go on and conduct their business as usual and he smugly told me that he didnt have any gas..I then told him that I would have to be parked there for a short while while i figured out how to get to the 3 miles or so to the nearest gas station to get some fuel to which he nodded.I made some calls and finally was able to get some help from a family member and within 15 minutes I was picked up and on my way to fill my gas can. I couldn't have been gone for more than 20 more minutes round trip and as I'm pulling in I see the same employee aggressively rapping on the tinted windows of my vehicle where my wife was laying back trying to get some relief from a horrible headache and he rudely tells her that "they will give us some gas but we have to get the hell out of there"" and i jump out of the truck with gas in hand and said" i told you id be back pal".....Thanks buddy, how come you couldn't spare a gallon of gas when i asked you in the first place and avoid all the nonsense from the git go. It doesn't cost much to be a decent person, You're a real humanitarianHope that you receive the same world class treatment next time hard luck falls on you. Good day sir

I took my truck here today to schedule a tune up and a must needed maintenance. They told me that they were booked solid until mid November which was totally fine with me. But with my luck they found a few hours this afternoon to take it in and do what was needed. They were able to get all of the parts delivered and installed in the 2 1/2 hours that my truck was in their shop. My truck is running like a dream and the price was more than fair especially for the expedited service. I would recommend North Shore Auto Works to anyone in the area needing any type of service on their vehicle. 5 stars for sure. Tell your friends.

This place came highly recommended by a dear friend and sure enough, they did a fantastic job. Car has 180k miles and runs like new. I thought my transmission was going but other shops where either inconclusive or shady. These guys identified the real issue right away and did a supe high quality fix. I could not be happier. Their honesty and professionalism are priceless!

Hi not sure what I did to these folks but they did me dirty 1 they didn't do the things I asked replace airfilter box and hoses because two latches are broke so it's getting to much air making it run rich which will lead to fowled plugs and make it the same state that it was in when I took it there 2 they didn't mention that the two front tires are unsafe as I would have replaced them I now they seen them as they did a brake job that I honestly don't think it needed they didn't mention the steering arm that attaches to the rack is ready to snap they said they replaced cap n rotor but my car is electronic ignition new plug wires they say that was replaced which clearly have not bottom line they got me for almost 1400 and its unsafe to drive and I believe it's against the law to send as vehicles on the road in this state so if I was yourself I'd go somewhere else

I took my 1500 ram in for electrical issues and they found the right part it needed which was on back order from the dealer but they got it in within a week! Will was extremely helpful and always calling to give me updates about the job.The customer service here is amazing and the mechanics are exceptionally knowledgeable and great. I d highly recommend going here for any car/truck issues!

Dropped my car on them out of the blue, never seen me before, no appt, nothing. Paul happened to be there past closing- he said they were swamped. I said whatever you can do....car barely runs.1 day wait, but then almost instant diagnosis, quick repair, very very VERY reasonable price, smiling service, happy customers. These guys are great, and new guys Erik and "other" Paul are stepping right in to keep it going. I highly recommend them to everyone!Service: Engine repair

The best in the business!! In this day and age it is difficult to find an auto repair shop that you can trust. Well, look no further this is the honest, trustworthy and courteous auto repair you are looking for. I would recommend them all day long. Their knowledge and skills are exemplary and they are organized too. I can't say enough how impressed I have been with their services.

Paul, the owner, along with his experienced staff treat you like Family, and take good care of your vehicle while in their possession. Took my Ram2500 in for a check engine light transmission issue and a rear door electric failure. Under a secondary warranty, the folks at North Shore promptly took care all repairs and communications with my warranty company. Awesome communication with me as well. I Absolutely wI'll be going back to them with any other auto repairs I have in the future. Amazing experience

These guys are great I will only take my vehicles to them. They are on the up an up besides they replaced my engine in 24 hours who does that. This shop is so busy and always professional.

If at any time you need an honest mechanic that don't say you have things wrong when the really isn't anything wrong. When your mechanic adds were patted your bill because he thinks hes put it over on you. If you want a mechanic that gives you the facts And is honest as the wind blows. Then you need to take your vehicle to these guys. The owner has been in business for many many years has sold many many companies. He's there to serve you not take your money Under false pretenses. These guys go out of their Way for you! Even if your Not a client! Can't figure out how to get your truck out of 4WD? They will help! Need some air in a tire to get to town? These Guys!!! Need some Actual Work done?? Decent prices! Super friendly!
