Expecting it to be a quiet day before Thanksgiving, I pulled in to Modern Collision in hopes that they could check my tires and add air. (A warning light had just gone on.) But it was crazy busy! They assured me they would be happy to adjust the air and immediately took the car. They found a nail was the culprit and quickly repaired the tire. I was stunned at the speed and cheerfulness of everyone on the staff. And I felt SO lucky!Thank you so much! It was a nice way to start the holiday season!Linda Whitehead

Highly recommend! I came here for what seemed routine - a headlight bulb - and suddenly my car died. Chuck and team went above and beyond to get me back on the road quickly. The team here is caring and trustworthy. I m very grateful and will certainly choose Modern Collision in the future and suggest you do too! Best automotive service I ve ever experienced.

Amazing service. I took a 1997 Volvo in with a severe oil leak that I thought was due to a leaky head gasket. They decided they should diagnose it before doing a $4200 repair, and determined it was a camshaft seal that was leaking. Saved me thousands they did the work promptly, and cleaned the car inside and out as well. Courteous, informative, responsive really wonderful experience.

As a newcomer to BI, I found Modern Collision to be incredibly welcoming, thorough, efficient, and honest. They changed my oil as a part of an inspection. Whatever issues they found, Chuck walked me through them and didn t try to push the repairs that weren t urgent or critical.What a gem of an automotive business to discover within a few weeks of my move across country. This is where I ll bring my car moving forward. I highly recommend!Service: Oil change

Modern Collision is a one stop shop for nearly any automotive need, to include detailing at any level. A simple wash and vacuum all the way up to a full detail of every nook and cranny in the interior and shampooed carpets. I had about two hours to kill in the area this week and they were able to take our 22 Disco Rover in for a wash and interior vacuum. The staff is amazing, friendly, and very accommodating. When I m back on the island, I ll be sure to see them again!

Needed a new brake light bulb. They told me to come in whenever and they would replace it. Took about 5 minutes and I was good to go! Great service.

I have been there many times and they always tell me exactly what needs to be done and how much it will cost and how to save money if possible! Love them and wouldn t go anywhere else. They have even called just to make sure I knew all the things to tell my insurance adjuster. I brought my son's car in a few months ago for an airbag fault light. This is the only auto body and collision shop in Kitsap that would take a car over 20 years old. The price for the first diagnostic test was much higher than I expected. They charged around $350 just to identify the problem! It was a fried computer system. The repair quote started around $2500, but there was no guarantee it would work or if the airbags were still good in the first place. We passed on the repair. Beyond the exorbitant prices, my biggest issue was the customer service and treatment. When we picked up the car, gross trash was on the driver's side floor mat. I raised the issue with the receptionist, and she found a manager. I showed him what was in the car. I asked why the staff would leave the car gross and dirty when it didn't come in like that. Instead of apologizing for the trouble and asking the technicians what happened, he immediately got defensive and tried to push off the blame by saying maybe it was the tow truck driver or one of my son's friends. I told him the car was not towed and the floor mat was clean when we brought it in. It took about 10 minutes of this back and forth where he kept saying his staff would never do this and it had to be someone else. Finally, he offered to spray off the mat, which he could have done initially.When he came back with the mat, he had talked to the technician, who explained the junk was stuck in the tracks under the driver's seat and came out when he pulled the seat out. It's not a huge issue. That's the kind of thing you won't find in a car unless the seat is removed. But seriously, tell me, what person would bring the car out for pickup without at least running a vacuum over the mat covered in trash??? Unacceptable!! Yet, we never got an honest apology, and the manager seemed relieved to get rid of us. I know we don't live in Bainbridge, and my son's first car was a beater, but that doesn't make my money any less green. As a side note, they don't give veteran discounts.

I've been doing business with Aaron and Micah for years. They give realistic quotes and timelines for repairs to and are able to be on time, on budget, and on point with quality work.They have a busy shop. Sometimes, you have to wait a bit. But good things often take time.Nice to see good guys doing good business.

I originally needed some simple body and mechanical services on my car. They did such a great job I brought my car back for a heavy-duty buff and wax. Prior detailers were never able to restore the shine I was expecting. Friendly staff who go above and beyond. I haven t yet needed in-depth service. However, I have stopped in a few times to check the air in my tires and for tire repair and they are always up to the task no matter how busy it is.Service: TiresService: Tires

My 27 year old Geo was leaking transmission fluid and no one was able to fix the problem. My wife suggested Modern Collision , I din't realize they did mechanical servicing.So, I took my Geo over and met with Fred and Micah. Well Fred is wonderful and Micha is a genius. Between the two they Fixed my leaking transmission problem. Thank you so much for saving my beloved 95 Geo Metro, Mike.

I brought my old Chevy pickup to Modern Collision with an intermittent air bag warning light. I was concerned that an intermittent problem might be difficult to diagnose. I was. Impressed that the tech took the time to look up Chevrolet service bulletins and discovered that there was a bulletin covering my issue and that connections should be checked and cleaned. Great work Modern. This could have otherwise been like finding a needle in a haystack that would have cost me a lot of money but ended up being a small repair bill. Thank you Modern! They were helpful and friendly over the phone. Informative which I was appreciative for. Unfortunately could get help as they are boomed out to October/November. Can't wait 3 or 4 months for my car to get worked on. Don't know many people who can wait that long.

I used modern collision for body work I needed done. It was so perfect I decided to take my Range Rover back to them instead of the dealer .Modern Collision was a fraction of the price for a major service. I even got new tires. And yes it was still less than a major service @ the dealership. Modern Collision is also certified to work on all vehicles dealers act like only the dealerships can provide service on! I needed my headlight bulbs changed, had to pull the batteries out. They quoted me a price that was half the price that another shop would do it for and I would have to make an appointment and come back. I was very happy with the service I had from Modern Collision.

After being turned away from every other shop on the island. I brought my awesome 1988 civic hatchback here on a Wednesday, looking for either an engine rebuild or a swap, and Chuck said he would give me a call back with some more info. I had to call before they closed on friday only to find out they "couldn't do it", "dont have the capacity for custom work" and "couldn't find any stock engines". Sounded to me like Chuck just didn't want to bother. Anyways, I took it to Meineke right after and they gave me a quote the same day for a k24 swap (wow!) The mechanics were super friendly and told me all about what they could do for the civic. Unfortunate, but meineke gets my business from now on. (They just seemed way more excited to help me out.)

After a person ran into my side-view mirror and broke it off, I drove immediately to Modern Collision. Even though they didn t know I was coming, one of the owners came right out, talked with me about what they would do, and I was able to leave my car with them that day, having complete confidence that the job would be done professionally and that their communications with insurance companies and me would be perfect.They get my highest recommendations, and my great gratitude for their kindness. Modern Collision is absolutely tops in my book!

Can't recommend them enough! I found them since they are sponsors for the Rotary Rummage sale and wanted to give them my business, and they are really wonderful. Professional, honest, and we're able to solve the issues with my trembled range rover that other mechanics could not find. Ends up i had a broken spark plug that was causing lots of issues. Thanks again! So nice to have such a wonderful mechanic on Bainbridge island that also gives back to our community.

Alas, thanks to an older and inattentive driver who changed lanes into us, our car required bodywork. I was dreading the process with insurance and repairs...but Tawnya and team at MCRS were awesome! They worked with our insurance company every step of the way, they worked with our car dealership on final system calibrations, and they made the process as easy as possible from our side. And just as important, they did great work! Modern Collision has been and always will be my go to business for service! Not sure how a construction barrel was left in the middle of the road on my way to Keyport, but hitting it even at 40 mph did extensive damage to my Honda FIT! Aaron and Micah and their amazing team of mechanics and bodywork professionals fixed my car to look brand new!The gratitude I have for Modern Collision and their Staff goes beyond words!
