I need to replace the fender apron extension bracket for my BRZ and they did an excellent job. The headlight and the fender fit like OEM after the replacement (I have the fender and the headlight for them to test fit and they did not rush through the process). They also helped to straighten the corner of the crash bar and the radiator support for the headlight alignment, along with dealing with the surface rust due to the chipped paint caused by the incident plus painting to prevent corrosion.After having them to help with the replacement and the outcome that yields, I decided to trust their professionalism and have them help with my fender and bumper cover paint job (sapphire blue pearl, WCH) and I am surprised by how close the color looks to the existing paint (possibly due to the car being only a year old and parked in a garage), even under the sun. Tom also has his painter prepare a spray-out card for my reference of how the result would look like before deciding on whether a blend is required (to settle my confusion and frustration of whether a blend is needed).Once again the results were amazing and I also let them transfer the existing TPMS sensor to my new set of Enkei TS-10 wheels (I was worried about scratching rims but none of them are scratched, although they forgot to return the OEM valve cap but that s fine).The receptionists at the front desk are nice. Tom Walters is a respectable and responsible person. I have been to 7+ auto body shops (out-of-pocket) for a quote for this repair. These are extinction customer experiences as many shops are no longer customer-centered, those shops would rather not do your business if you cannot afford the additional cost (usually $1.3k+). They would also ghost your question if it involves the repair process because of their ego (they believed that you do not trust them because you asked one or two questions). I sincerely hope that people do not abuse their kindness such that they have to change their approach. He also concisely answered all of my questions. I am very happy to have him to help with the repair.

I did my research when choosing this shop and was extremely happy with the outcome and customer service I received.Seems like in today's world many businesses are losing that personal touch of professionalism and respect for their clientele.I was well taken care of at Hinshaw's Auto Body and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have quality work done.Also, I would like to give a shout out to Tom who goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the customer is happy!Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

I brought my car here because of their boasts for attention to detail and quality. Unfortunately the level of care is not where it should have been for my vehicle.First they scheduled my car when they did nothave enough technician's to start the work. Theclaims manager told me as much, and he hadn't even looked at my car in the first week.They took 25 days for a job other shops quoted 10. The paint match was mediocre due to the painter using too much metal flakeThey rushed the job and put four scratches in the trim, roof rack, clear coat and the interior. They tried to return the car filthy inside and out. White compound was all over the dash, seats and floor mats. Tape residue and compound on the exterior.The sunroof was calibrated by a shop that didn't know what they were doing so it didn't function properly.I rejected the car and asked them to correct theproblem. They wanted to argue with me that itwasn't the calibration, then tried to put asupplement into the insurance for sunroof railsreplacement. Even though I told them the sunroof had worked perfectly until they had worked on it. Ended up being the calibration after all.I took possession of my vehicle the second time around. I found the scratches afterwards. They said I could bring the car in to resolve thescratches. Honestly I don't want to take my carback. I managed to remove two scratches and to minimize a third.My experience was disappointing and I wish I had gone elsewhere. If you have a skilled team you can let their work speak for itself.I will say the folks at Hinshaw are very nice people. I just wish they were better at what they do.

I can't even tell my car was ever damaged! They did a great job! Service was a little slow, but they said a 4 week turnaround time is pretty much an industry standard. Very polite staff. Would highly recommend.

I have (unfortunately) needed to use the services at Hinshaws Auto Body several times. They have always provided me with excellent service. Today I needed an estimate for some damage done to my gas door which was keeping it from closing. Jerry (the estimator) offered to take my car back to the mechanic to see exactly what part might be needed. When he brought the car back - the door was actually fixed (5 minutes) and he gave me some options for touch up paint work if I wished. To actually come in for an estimate for a repair that turned out to be simple - AND have someone just make the needed adjustment rather than write up a costly estimate for something that was so simple - I am an so thankful. Thankful for the honesty and thankful for the simple helpful fix. No words can express my gratitude.

DO NOT USE HINSHAW'S HONDA BODY SHOP. Long read, but eye opening.Feb 24th: Dropped my car off for repair. Was told it should take a week or two unless there was hidden damage. I requested to have the headlight replaced with a used OEM and not a Chinese knock-off.March 9th: I was informed that due to additional damage found on the car and additional parts would need to be ordered, the date would have to be pushed back.March 11th: Had to return rental car. Wife was then without a car. She either had to catch a ride with a coworker when available or usually, I had to take her to and from work. This lasted for almost 2 weeks. I cannot not begin to describe what a hardship this was.March 20th: Was called and told car would be ready soon.March 21st: Was informed that the underside plastic engine cover was an issue. Missing hardware? Would be a bit longer.March 24th: Finally able to pick up car. Upon talking to service rep, I asked if there was any additional damage found. Apparently she forgot what she had told me earlier and admitted that there was none and was a pretty straight repair. Not happy being lied to. I then noticed that the headlight was a Chinese replacement instead of the requested recycled OEM. She then proceeded to try to convince me the aftermarket part was better because of a lifetime warranty. I ve worked in the industry. There is no benefit. Then upon looking at the paperwork I received, it claimed it was a 3 day repair. If that is indeed true. Then my wife and I were greatly inconvenienced for nothing and Safeco/Liberty Mutual was defrauded the cost of all the extra days of car rental.Upon further inspection, I noticed that all the body gaps were off and that you could still see the casting marks on the edges. It appeared that this bumper had never been sanded before paint.Hinshaws was also paid to replace several brackets. They didn't. This caused the cover fit weird.The final straw... several months later I noticed that the paint was peeling from the bumper. I contacted my insurance. They set my car up to be redone at Sonic Collision in Burien. Sonic had to purchase all new parts.Hinshaw s defrauded my insurance at two levels, charging for work never done and making insurance cover 3 weeks worth of car rental coverage when less than a week was needed. Yes, Sonic only had my car for 4 week days, even with doing the work that Hinshaws never did.In closing, Hinshaw s completed subpar work in about 8 times the actual needed time while repeatedly lying to me and defrauding my insurance company.DO NOT USE!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I highly recommend Hinshaws Autobody for all my future cars and current car Honda S2000. They did amazing work on the repairs and paint was quality work like OEM spec. They also help resolve any problems and questions I may have right away, which puts my anxiety at ease! This shop is the only place I trust with paint work and repairs for all my cars. Thanks again!

Hinshaw's Auto Body is the best place to go to. The day of the accident, Mar 5, 2021, I brought my Honda Civic SI and Joel Kambich helped me right away on an estimate and working with my insurance. From day one, Joel would keep in touch with me about everything that was going on and a timeframe the car would be complete. Joel was very helpful and would answer any questions I might have. He was always available by phone and email when I would contact him. I was very happy with their services and repairs. I would highly recommend Hinshaw s Auto Body. They ve done work on two different vehicles for me and I had an excellent experience both times. Everyone is friendly and professional and they provided me with status updates every step of the way. The work on the cars was exceptional as well.

Not happy with my work done here, they did clumsy work on my 3M film cover job. I ve tried contacting them multiple times. No replies or answers were given. Make sure you double check your work here especially after it rains.

I am SUPER picky when it comes to my vehicle and I spent a LOT of time looking at other body and fender shops. For one thing, the shop needs to be clean, and Hinshaw's is spotless. And I looked at the quality of their work before I selected them. I also consulted the best career mechanic I have ever known, who has spent his life in the Seattle/Tacoma metro area and Hinshaw's was his first recommendation. AND, when you get there, ask for a guy named Jerry Pena. He is fantastic and I've never seen anybody who is more attentive and professional.

If you want your car repair done right this is the place to go. Despite their lackluster newer front office staff, the body shop does the best work in Washington. Have had several cars here over the past 20 years and I've never been disappointed. Prepare to potentially wait a while for a repair, but there is a good reason they are always so busy.

From the start to completion for our vehicle repair, only exceptional service was provided and received. The service manager called regularly for status updates on the repair process. The body work professional was masterful in all aspect of the repairs. I was gleeful seeing my Love My Granddog magnet was salvageable and replaced on the tailgate. It demonstrated to me they pay attention to detail. I don t plan on returning; however, if a vehicle requires body work I know where to return.

They remove parts from your car such as the make or model of the vehicle and they no longer put them on the car when they finish the work. They say they will call you to take the car and install them again and if you talk to them they say they don't have them. the parts and they never return them, very bad service

For this repair I pay $11,000 to repair my car hell this is really bad location to bring your vehicle for body shop I'm not really recommend anybody to go to this on professional place just locations only try to ripe your pocketNever ever go here bad customer service and on professional work it is also funny part 2 they declined my record I visited on Nov 2022 and my car was 6 month in your bodysuit for repair my correct name is noory I could blame u all your work is not professional wish u get better with new training and find more better mechanics and body repair tech to fix the car with high quality

I came to this company because my car got hit on one of my taillights and I am so glad that I did. They provided excellent customer service, was an easy process, and they kept me updated throughout the whole thing. I was so impressed and satisfied with how my repairs went and the time. It went a lot quicker than I expected and I was so happy when I got my car back, not only because I got it back but they cleaned the interior as well as the exterior for me. My estimator and repair advisor was Adrienne Rutherford. My car, loved and treasured for 25 years, is a 1993 Acura NSX, a classic car built for driving. The parts had to come from Japan.Adrienne included every bump or scratch collected over 165,000 miles-a badly damaged left front fender/ tire & wheel,hit & run bump on rear bumper/fender, badly damaged wheels and tires. She was very thorough and really amazing! The car came out like new. The workmanship was of the highest quality. She reported every step of the repair to me with frequent calls or texts.I would recommend this outstanding Body Shop to anyone. Especially for a classic gem like I brought in.Thanks Adrienne!

My daughter had her car repairs done there, so I chose to take my car there, the Toyota dealer also sends cars to their business. I wanted my car done by someone I trust and those two factors played an important part in my choice to have my car body work done there. My car is driving like a dream. I was nervous about who I would trust to repair my Honda S2000, so I decided to go with Hinshaw's since I know they have a Honda dealership as well. They were fantastic, and repaired everything back to OEM spec. I can tell they care about not only getting cars road worthy again, but getting them as close as possible to being brand new again as possible. Update: After hearing a rattling noise, I discovered that Hinshaw s did NOT install any of the fasteners for the drivers side cargo rail system in the bed of the truck. And several retaining clips holding the drivers rear inner fender well to the bed of the truck are missing.I m so frustrated right now. I can safely say Hinshaw s will NOT be getting any of my business in the future.My advice, if you care about your vehicle and it s safe operation take it elsewhere!!!Original post:I have had several vehicles repaired at Himshaw s Auto Body in the past 10 years and was always happy with the results.However this last repair was not as good. My vehicle was repaired by Hinshaw s via a paint peeling issue I brought up with Doxon Toyota in Auburn. When my vehicle was returned the trim piece on the front of the hood was not properly attached, the rain visor above the drivers side rear passenger door had been broken and left in the back seat, the three remaining rain visors were reattached using minimal double adhesive tape and literally flop around. I found masking tape carelessly left in the bed of the truck.I have aftermarket headlights on my truck and they were installed differently than when I dropped the vehicle off. If you want a sequential turn signal, one of the wired connections is left undone (how I dropped vehicle off). If you want a traditional blinking turn signal, one of the wired connections is made (how the vehicle was returned). In order to correct this, the grill and headlights will need to be removed to access the wiring.I felt that Hinshaw s did not care about the quality of their work, or the condition of the vehicle when they were done.After this last visit, I will definitely shop around before just taking my vehicle to Hinshaw s.Service: Painting

Went to them for a quote to fix a bumper. They said they wouldn t do it because the manufacturer no longer makes the bumper. Why can t they replace the bumper with a certified or aftermarket bumper like most shops? I don t get it.Anyway. 1-star it is.

Louise was great to work with! My car looks amazing and it didn t take to long to get it back! They even vacuumed my car (very well too) and I assume they found change under my seats, they put it in my cup holder for me!
