Fantastic repair shop for all your Powerstroke needs. I was in need of some serious repairs, and looking for a honest place to diagnose and fix my F350 6.7, Josh and his techs got on it right away. Josh took the time to explain what I needed done, and was always willing to take time to answer all of my questions and explain everything to me all along the way. He is great! Now my truck is even better than it was before. I will use Powerstroke Custom for my future truck repair needs.

I will start with I brought a perfectly running 2017 F250 with 60K mi in for performance upgrades , nothing wrong with my truck. $2700 later I have a few problems that now will be addressed by a dealership. Josh might respond to this poor review but the bottom line is I have taken my truck back to him for quality issues 3 times. I am over 60 years old and have ample experience with repair shops and dealerships and started my life as a mechanic so I feel comfortable in saying this repair shop has no business in business. I paid almost 3K for this shop to screw up my truck.

I am EXTREMELY unhappy with the service I received at Powerstroke Customs. I went there to tune up my healthy stock truck, and they ended up costing me a new motor.I brought my 7.3 into Josh for glow plug replacement and a compression test as I wanted to make sure the engine was healthy before I considered replacing my original stock injectors with 290k miles on them. He told me all cylinders came back great with 375-400psi compression on them. I agreed to let him do performance injectors as he promised to get them finished in a weeks time. One week turned into 3 weeks due to a bad new injector getting installed by them. 2 weeks turned into 2 months of my truck sitting in his shop waiting for multiple sets of injectors to get installed properly. The whole time he promised me that there were no other issues and it would be worth the wait. Finally he calls me and tells me that he got the truck running properly, but there was mechanical issues with the engine and he thought one of the valves was not sealing properly. I go to pick up my truck and find it with serious blowby that I didn t have before I brought it to them. I asked them why the issue was not discovered when they first performed a compression test, he said his tech mixed up the results with another truck that he tested that day. I asked to see the results of the test and his tech showed me that cylinder 5 had 300 psi of compression, not 375 like he told me before the work started. I regrettingly paid to get my truck out of that awful shop, and I had to tow it home for a motor rebuild the very next day. I trusted Josh and his techs to get the job done right, and in the end they refused to take responsibility for any of it. Instead, they told me they got another motor in stock that they could install for another $5k.

He had me pay for a couple sets of head gaskets, and a set of heads, before he figured out the heads that he put on, were defective. Then cut me a deal on a second set of heads, because his quality control didnt notice the first set of heads was defective, and he drug it out so long, they were out of warranty. If you have a problem with your truck after the work is done, he blames it on the driver, and the repair will be done eventually, and you will pay for it. He is not a good business man. Avoid him at all cost!

Great shop to deal with. They brought my new to me high mileage 05 f350 drw 6.0 back to life. It had 260k miles on a stock head bolt truck that drove with no major signs of blown head gaskets. �Josh is Top Notch and won't pressure you for any sales as I stopped in after picking up a used part from someone in the area.� �I pulled in after searching google for a local powerstroke shop and wanted just to ask him about how to monitor the ECT and EOT temps on my edge and to see what's normal. I told him what�I saw on the drive down as I was about 2 hrs away from my house and he looked over a few things�while�we talked and pointed out some issues that he said I should correct.� Again no money involved or sales pitch.� So after spending 15 mins or more with me talking about my truck.� I left and on my way home about 30 mis later i called to schedule a bullet proofing job I was saving till I returned home from deployment.� With me having to worry about my wife only having one reliable vehicle why I was gone I decided to have him do the work so she would have a backup reliable vehicle.� I decided to purchase a pair of his in house heads to complete the bullet proof job.� I really appreciate�him squeezing me in his busy schedule.� He will not use any high pressure tactics to sell you anything.� I only replaced what he recommended�knowing the mileage and how worn this stuff was before I even stopped in.� I am not related to or paid to write this review.� I think if you are second guessing this shop you shouldn't. I�personally believe that he should have a higher rating than 4.4.� I will be back as he is one of the most honest shop owners and mechanics I have ever dealt with.� I just want to thank you again for my fast service and helping a military member out that was in a bind on vehicle situations right before I deployed.� I would give you a 10 star review if I was able to.� �I wish you the best of luck with the rest of 2023 and know this shop will do even greater things in years to come.� Powerstroke�Customs is a business that I will continue to return to with the best service I have ever received�from an owner/mechanic. This is the place to take your truck. Josh is hands down the best around! My 2012 F-350 is now as good as new, and looks amazing (from the fabulous on site detailing). I could NOT possibly be happier with the service and attention to detail from Josh and his team. Forget about all the other shops and go here. I guarantee you ll love the results.

Highly recommend Josh over at Powerstroke Customs. This man is a wealth of knowledge and is beyond patient. Did not push anything on me and my wife and took the time to gather a quote for us and walk us through the process. Would send anyone over to him for more than just Powerstroke needs. Will continue to use and encourage others to go over to support local business.

Worst repair experience ever! My repair went from a "I'll get to it next week" to one day shy of two months. Brought my 05 Powerstroke in for a Hot/No Start issue, other than that it ran perfectly. After nearly two months, I get a bill for almost 4 grand, new injectors, new IPR Valve, new Cam Position Sensor, and new fuel filters (even though mine were a month old), and charged twice for a "diagnosis fee." Here is where is gets fun. The next day I pick up a load of gravel, truck runs perfectly (just like it did before), and when I shut it off, yep, no start (just like it did before). Josh sent me a short email to say he would replace my computer at no charge and now he has completely blown me off. Filing in small claims court tomorrow (12-06-21) after he has refused to follow up for another two months. This is obviously a "throw parts at it until it is fixed" type of shop with little to no communication. I would HIGHLY recommend taking your business elsewhere.

My experience with PowerStroke Customs was very professional.I spoke with Josh the ownerAbout my Jeep and was explained in detail what was going on with my transmission.So the best thing was to rebuildIt. Everything was done in house and was not sent out and in three / four days it was done. I had an issue with it a clip for a hose went bad .I called Josh and he came to my location in fifteen minutes. Saw what happened to the clip picked one up spent 2 / 3 hours with me brought fluid filled it up done Followed me to his shop made sure we were OK then pressure washed my jeep . He also fixed my oil pan gasket, exhaust, and gave me an awesome deal . I now will always go thereI trust him and he stands behind his work . Who nowadays does this .

This team led by owner Josh are great technicians. I am happy with the work done on my personal trucks as well as my company trucks. If you are bringing a diesel in they will do a quality job, just do yourself a favor and do some personal research on what is pros and cons of the engine you own. I watched an individual have a fit because a simple ignorance when it came to their 6.0 engine. At least the PSC staff have patience.

So impressed with this place! Drove from North Bend and would do it again in a heart beat. When we left my new to me truck at the shop it barely wanted to go up hills and now it s driving like a brand new truck. These guys know what they re doing! And Josh took time out of his day to chat with us about my truck and show us his truck as well. He seemed to genuinely care about his work. We will be repeat customers for sure!

I got an engine rebuild from Josh complete with new o-ringed heads and head studs, plus a 2 year warranty on the engine. Josh knows his stuff, and I recommend taking your 6.0 to him if you need a new engine, heads, bulletproofing, etc. He knows what he is doing. Plus he returns your phone calls and gives it to you straight. My truck was in bad shape and took longer than expected, but Josh let me know what was going on with it. I liked the Facebook photos and updates as well. I don't think you'll find a dealer that will take pictures of your truck's progress, so you can see things coming along. After I got the truck back, I had an issue with the oil pressure sending unit (not on him). Stuff happens. I elected to replace it myself and Josh walked me through it and checked on me later in the week to see how it came out. Thanks Josh!

Had them EGR delete and change the oil cooler on my 6.0. Picked the vehicle up on May 28th 2020, I had a bolt in my tire and took it down the street to Les Schwab to get repaired, on my way I noticed an immediate lack of power, I thought it was me and waited til I got on the highway and determined it was not myself. I called but the shop had closed at the time and decided to email, in the mean time I was able to trouble shoot the issue and fix it. I decided to send an email that day and have still yet to hear back.I was hit the same night and the vehicle doesn't months in the shop. After picking the vehicle up from auto body I began driving the truck like normal again. A week goes by and my truck started having over heating issues and noticed a huge loss of coolant. Filled the coolant up and noticed the coolant would still get low after a few days, running and sitting. Two- three months go by, not many miles and the truck started having the same oil/coolant differential temp of 15+ degrees. The truck stayed like that for two months and now has gotten to being undeliverable.I would never trust these guys again unless you plan on having the work redone not soon after or plan on dropping 10k on a new engine

I ve known Josh since before he worked on 6.0 s. I have an early 03 6.0 that started to have overheating issues. Called Josh and after awhile he decided it was cracked heads. He said he would send me some heads and fly down ( I live in the L.A. harbor )and I could help him install them. When we removed one found a cracked piston, two on the other side. I did not have time to rebuild my short block so he called around and found an 05 6.0 short block, with his connections he got me a $ 1,000 of the price. We removed and replaced it with new injectors, turbo and most everything else. Saved me a ton of cash. All this while flying back and forth from Washington. If you live in his area I highly recommend Josh and his employees.

I highly recomend Powerstroke Customs. My transmission went out on my 2005 F-350 and Josh was able to replace it for me and dealt with me being "that" customer that had to know why certain things needed to be replaced, what they did, why they went bad, etc. etc. While on the phone just talking to him about the issues I was having he told me what was probably going on, what needed to be fixed, and gave me a cost right then and there. He was able to explain all this in a way that I understood and was able to show me everything that was coming out, everything that was going in, as well as tell me why certain things needed to get replaced or upgraded. We had a little trouble getting it right, but Josh kept me in the loop and made sure that everything was working as it should. I've had a hard time finding a good shop, but Powerstroke Customs has definitely earned my business, these guys know what their doing and have excellent customer service! Also Josh's tunes for the 6.0 are great, highly recomend them if you need / want tunes. I've tried a few different custom tunes but Josh's shift the best and has a good power delivery.

Recently had one of our Super Duty (6.0) in Josh's shop for an Engine Oil Cooler replacement, an external coolant filter install and an EGR delete.When contacted, Josh proclaimed that the service would only take a couple of hours and I would be able to pick up our truck the same day. 5 days later, after multiple un-returned calls, I finally reach Josh and he says it will be done in 45 minutes. At this point, he claims that "this truck is thrashed" and offers to buy it from me. He also states at this point that HE WILL NOT WARRANTY ANY OF HIS WORK. What the heck?!? Seriously, who claims a vehicle is trash to his customer than offers to purchase it?! This seemed extremely fishy to me.Regardless, we travel over an hour to his shop, to find that his business location is unkempt, dirty and basically in disarray. It looks as though a teenager lives in the office and doesn't know what a vacuum or cleaning supplies are. And, there is not office staff upon arrival and I had to walk into the shop area to get someones' attention. When Josh comes to the office, he alerts me that he was 'out' of external coolant filter kits, and just didn't install one. Thanks for letting me know ahead time Josh. If I had known this was the case, I would have opted to take the truck elsewhere as this 'upgrade' assists in not having the oil cooler (that was supplied by me) fail in the future. Needless to say I was concerned as to what else he 'conveniently' omitted.I reluctantly paid and proceeded to leave when my truck (which was running when it arrived at his shop) refused to start. I walk back in to his office and inform him of the non-starting issue. He then diagnoses it as a failed IPR valve sensor and says they're like $200 from Ford. He then says it will require less than an hour to replace. I come back and the price has ballooned to $500 plus. Josh claimed, "that the part cost more than I originally thought."I decided to call the dealership after leaving his shop and the part itself costs the general public over $75 less than he charged me for the component. He also had the gall to tell me I was luck because he was only charging 1 hour for the install. I looked up the install procedure and the estimated install time is less than 10 mins.And the truck is running poorly since we have picked it up from Fully Lit.I would HIGHLY encourage everyone considering patronizing this business to do a bit of research and make an informed decision for yourself as to if you want to roll the dice with this company.

Highly recommended POWERSTROKE!!!! Josh and his team are extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. If you have a Ford (Diesel), don't waste your time looking around with other shops call Josh at POWERSTROKE customs!They know Ford! Will be using POWERSTROKE again.Highly recommended!

Josh at Fully Lit KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING! Gives it to you straight, no Hassel, and better priced than anyone else. Even got me led head lights. Best 6.0 power stroke diesel mechanic.

Awesome shop!!! Needed some tunes installed on my sct programmer since I couldn't get my device to hook up to my computer. They hooked me up and said have a good day. Will definitely be back for more parts and service!!!

I had sinister diesel head gaskets in my truck and they blew. Josh o-ringed my heads and all put back together in just a few days and always responds quickly to questions.
