This is the only place I trust with my cars. Me and everyone I know have had bad experiences with dishonest shops or worse dealership shops. Almost everytime I talk to someone about their experience with car issues and mechanics, it usually ends with them being upcharged or straight up lied to. This has led me to learn how to work on cars and fix whatever I can fix myself.With Mike I don't have that issue. He's has always been fair and honest. I don't ever feel like I have to second guess the diagnosis or the pricing. This is literally the only place that I will work on my cars.

This is the most honest mechanic that I have ever used in my life. You have got to bring your vehicles here there are no mistakes he's honest and will tell you if you need something or not hold off or use this or that. Mike cares for each customer and he knows their names and he ask about their families this guy is the real deal. Bring your cars to him he is trustworthy.!

My wife was on a road trip to northern Virginia from Southeastern Virginia when she had a battery maintenance light come on and the car began to run rough. GEICO road assistance gave Mike Finks garage as a recommendation of shops near her location. The car was towed to the shop after hours and I spoke with Mike the next day on the phone. Mike reassured me he would look into the problem and call me back with a diagnosis. It turned out to be a battery issue, Mike attended to my wife s car on a Friday before a Memorial Day Weekend while having a lot going on in his shop prior to my car issues.While being 3.5 hours away, I had a lot of time to read the reviews of Mike s auto service. All reviews were top notch with the exception of one review. My interaction with the shop wasn t racist, wasn t disrespectful but only very positive in my experience with Mike and his shop.I was treated with the utmost respect from Mike, and recommend this shop.Service: Auto maintenance

We took our vehicle to a local dealership who said we needed brakes on the rear of our car. They quoted us $375.00 to do the job. That was too much. We called Mike Fink and he quoted us $195.00. My husband dropped the car off and thirty minutes later he got a call from Mr. Fink asking him to come to the shop. Turns out the brakes did not need replaced at all. Mr. Fink showed my husband and said he could have replaced the brakes and made the charge but that is not the way he does business. He did not even charge for pulling the tires off and putting them back on. Mr. Fink lost $195.00 today by being an honest man but he has gained a customer for life and a voice that will recommend him to everyone we know. Thank you Sir for being an honest man in this world we need more like you.

Great Family owned shop. Mike called and explained everything once they had done the diagnosis and they were able to fix my car the same day and for a fair price.

I came here first for my company cars emissions. Great service and quick turnaround. I came back for my personal vehicle repair and inspection and received the same great service. They act like they love their job and what they do. I kinda quit my over 20 relationship with my previous mechanic and started creeping with Mike Finks Shop!! Lol..I told my mechanic I got work done somewhere else and he wasnt happy but we're still friends..lol..Service: General repairs & maintenance

I recently moved out of state and literally drove 8 hours to get my oil changed here! Mike is simply the best! He won t scam you. I will only take my car here because they are the only people I trust to work on it! Really trustworthy guys. They make you feel right at home. If I could give 5+ stars I would. I just left Mike's shop and met him. I had to drop off my work truck for ac repairs. I dropped it there last night and he repaired it in under 24 hours. I will be using him for all future repairs. Nice to work with and great priceService: Auto A/C rechargeService: Auto A/C recharge

Came in last year to get a water pump replaced on my car. I did a lot of research before hand and called 5 or 6 places to compare estimates. Mike Fink's was the one of the cheapest estimates I received. When I towed my car to the shop a few days later, I asked for a written estimate to make sure he would stick to the price we agreed on. Apparently, this was an insulting request to the owner. He threw my keys to the car back at me across the counter. He exclaimed, "what you don't trust me?!" Then he proceeded to tell me he would not work on my car if I didn't trust him. He told me to check his reviews if I didn't believe him. I felt very uncomfortable, but was in desperate need to fix my car. I'm glad the repair was done and he stuck to the previously agreed upon estimate, but my interactions with him made me incredibly uncomfortable. I did not like the volume level of his response or the throwing of my keys. I will not be returning to this shop based on my interaction with the owner.

Have brought our cars here for two years for state and emission inspection. They got it in and done in a timely manner. As an amateur auto mechanic, I maintain my car well. So very happy there were no surprise and they passed everything. Very efficient, polite and responsive staff. Wait Room is excellent /w AC and heater, keep you comfortable.

I was going to use their business to get my inspection done. However, the gentleman I spoke with was very rude. I would never get anything done there and advise certain people to never go there. I got the sense they are only nice and respectful to certain people.

Best mechanic shop i have found in the two years since I moved here. Not only is his pricing fair and transparent, Mike is a very welcoming and friendly guy and you can tell from the way his clientele talk to him like they've known him for years that his integrity is top notch.I felt like I was chatting it up at a barbershop while the tech worked on my car. It reminded me of being back in my home town at my old local shop. I will be returning and referring whenever I have any future issues. This shop does it right.

Nothing short of great service! I had my radiator replaced at Mike Fink's today and the service received was superb! The price was 1/2 the price of a larger known auto shop. Mike and his team exceeded my expectations and were able to get the job done. I made contact with Mike this morning and by this afternoon my truck was right back on the road again - as good as new. Thanks again Mike, I truly appreciate it! Now on to spring break!!

Straight up, honest, good work. I wish I found Mike's shop years ago. I had a lot of annoying things to take care of and Mike and his crew were very attentive and helpful. Solid, solid, establishment. they took care of a check engine light I had that was causing some oil pressure issues. charged a fraction of what another place would have charged and did the work very quickly.

I had never used Mike's shop before today, but he really helped us out. Our business is based out of Northern MD and one of our service vehicles broke down in Woodbridge. I called that morning and he said he could get the truck in that day - 6 hours later he had diagnosed/fixed the issue, and our driver was back on the road. I was very pleased with the quick turnaround, quality of work and his professionalism.

my car recently broke down and i had it towed here to get checked out. it turned out to be my transmission, and my car is super old so it's pretty much done for. they could have easily charged me a nice fee for the diagnostic, but they told me my money was better spent getting a tow to bring my car home and even let me leave it there over the weekend until i could figure out what to do with it. very genuine, kind people. they made a very stressful situation easier to handle, and it means so much to me. i would absolutely recommend this shop and i will for sure be returning whenever i need to next.

I had a Toyota dealership look my car over for what felt like my transmission was slipping. After charging me $155 to do their check on the issues, I was told my transmission had to be completely replaced and it would cost $4800.00. Hardly after my shock subsided, the dealership was sure to let me know 'we have some really great specials going for our new 2017 toyota's in case you were looking for a new car'.My dad has been going to Mike's for awhile, so after having 2 other mechanics look at my car to see if I needed a transmission and being told it would cost upwards of $2000.00, I took it to Mikes.Dropped it off on Monday, was told that same day that my transmission only needed a flush, not a rebuild. The other issues were easy fixes, and everything was done within that same day for a fraction of what everyone else was telling me was wrong.Car runs fine now. No more slipping of the transmission. Breaks are solid, Tires are great, calipers working great. So I'm convinced, this is my new Mechanic for good! They aren't going to sell me crap that doesn't even need to be done on a car just because they think I'll have no idea what their talking about and just err on the side of caution and pay whatever astronomical price they want. Mike Fink's won't rip you off. He even has warranties on the work his guys do up to a set amount of time. Not many places do that now.Excellent customer service. Fast repairs. Fair price. Friendly and personable staff.

Complete life saver!!! I hate taking my car to a shop as a female I always worry if I m going to be taken care of or ripped off. Ladies this is the place you want to come for great service. These men are professional quick and experts in the automotive field. I came in for a flat tire. The shop didn t have my tire but referred me to a shop close by for the tire. I went to the other shop and instead of just giving me a tire. The other shop tried to charge me 1200 dollars for other issues. I went back that day to Fink automotive and They took a look at my car and were able to fix it for less then 1/5 the cost. They are some great people. It s refreshing to find a honest shop not taking advantage of women. Thanks guys. I ll be back!!!

I was travelling from South Carolina to Boston, Massachusetts, and had an overnight stop in Woodbridge, Virginia. I arrived in Woodbridge at 9:30PM, and my vehicle was making noises from the rear axle. I found Mike Fink's shop on Google, and planned on calling them when they opened in the morning. Mike answered the phone, and, after I explained my situation, made time to inspect my car, perform repairs, and get me on the road to Boston by 9:30AM. He and his technicians did not have to go out of their way for me, but they did. I appreciate the fast, professional and courteous service provided by this shop.

Been using mike for 20 years. I feel comfortable just dropping my keys off and ask him to make it right, they will do a great job and not sell you things you don't need. He and his techs are the only ones I fully trust. I recommend his business to my friends and family

Car failed safety inspection and needed a new steering pump. They gave me an estimate, was in and out in no time, and was $50 less then estimated. They even replaced a bulb that was out ( I just paid for part) and re-inspected the car for free. Great service and they know how to win my business. I will be back for all my automotive needs that I don't do myself.

Top notch professionals, Mike and his staff have gone above and beyond for me in the past figuring out and fixing a problem caused by another shop. I will always take my vehicles to these guys for whatever they need. Definitely knowledgeable and fair, I highly recommend them.

Best car shop I've ever been to! Great prices! Very nice people especially the owner. I will only take my vehicles here even if I have to drive from Fredericksburg totally worth it!! Support a great locally owned shop.
