Incredibly kind, knowledgable, and helpful service. I took in a used car that I was considering buying to have a general inspection done. Immediately Paul, the mechanic, noticed several major issues with the engine and air bag systems. We ended up talking with him for nearly an hour, with him giving incredibly in depth and helpful advice about what to look for in used cars, reliable brands, and brands and systems to watch out for. I decided against buying the car I brought in, and when I went to pay Paul refused, saying that he didn't have to do anything. However, Paul's advice saved me from a likely very bad purchase. I came to complete my Emissions & Safety test. The owner was polite, quick & professional. There was zero wait time (first come, first serve). I was offered a stool to park myself while I waited for the services to be completed (it s winter and drizzling outside). I will definitely be returning, the location is small but clean. It did not limit the capacity s to get the job done efficiently & quickly. Thank you Lakewood Auto for your services and professionalism.

The team is very professional and was able to knock out my state inspection and emissions test with only a few recommendations, which I thought were very important! Very detailed and user friendly! A must go for your vehicle needs!

I've only had great experiences at Lake-Wood Auto with all my vehicles. Very honest and polite gentlemen. They do awesome work and I always get my vehicles back in a timely fashion. Paul makes sure I understand what needs to be done and what to anticipate moving forward. Thanks again for making me feel safe in my car!

I highly recommend Lake-Wood Auto they are honest. I had issues with my car and dropped it off in the drop box asked them to check the noise on top of doing transmission flush and changing of the filter they called me the next day to tell me that the flush is not needed due to I needed a whole transmission they could of done the flush anyways since I asked for it and charged me but they were honest enough to tell me. They are good people

Always come here for our cars inspection. Honest inspection and prompt service. This is family-owned shop. So they will do their best to earn your business. Sandy is great. Got my lug studs replaced and flat tire fix with reason price, done in same day

I just recently started to bring my truck here, but they have done an amazing job!!! They re always polite and honest. I am always pleased when I get my truck back!! Mostly frequent here for my inspection/emission needs. Really fast service.Recently, went to get A/C fixed on my son's subaru. Thought it was leak, but it was thoroughly tested and only needed a recharge of the refrigerant. Also, got my front shocks replaced on my tacoma. Somewhat pricey. Exelent place to have your Emission and Inspection, Fast, Friendly and Professional all the way. Better be there early, they know time is precious to everybody, they'll get you in and out in a bit

small local family business---great service with inspection and emission check for DMV and also getting off old license plates to new VA ones...as retired senior appreciated willingness and honesty to help me...would trust and use again. Highly recommend to all !!!

BAD WORK QUALITY WITHOUT ANY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE WITH A/C ISSUES. THEY SUPPOSEDLY GAVE A DIAGNOSTIC, AND I GAVE PERMISSION TO WORK ON MY CAR. THEY CHARGED IN TOTAL $1530, BUT, THE A/C WAS NEVER REPAIRED. TWO DAYS AFTER THE "FIXING" I RETURNED, THEN 30 MINUTES LATER I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THEM. THEY INFORMED ME IF I PAY AN EXTRA $650, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FIX MY VEHICLE, BUT, WITHOUT ANY GUARNTEE IT WILL BE 100% FIXED. I WASTED $1530 DOWN TO THE DUMPS.I SUGGEST BEING CAREFUL WHEN GOING TO THIS PLACE. HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP.

THIS PEOPLE ARE GOOD ONLY FOR STATE INSPECTION , THEY DON'T KNOW ANY MORE THEN THAT. THEY CHARGE ME 1635 DO�LARS TO FIX MY AIR CONDITIONER , NEVER WORK, STUPPID .
