I dealt with a dealership prior to finding the truck I bought from Koons. The dealership prior to Koons, I felt did not want my business. I test drove their vehicle and they would not return my calls. In sharp contrast I reached out to Koons via internet and within minutes Chris Baskins called me and we struck a deal over the phone, because I lived an hour away. I told him I just needed to drive the truck, to ensure I had no issues because I had not driven a 1500 AT4X. Within minutes of talking with Chris, he sent me a video of the truck I was interested in conducting a walk around describing the features of the truck. I felt he wanted my business. I came down and drove the truck and found Chris to be respectful and genuine. I wanted the truck, he wanted to sell it and he made it easy. I then went into financing even though I brought my own financing the finance officer (cannot remember her name) was equally genuine and tried to compete with the offer I brought. It was a very competitive offer and if the rates weren t already as rough as they were I would have taken the loan she got through M&T even though it was higher because I appreciated the service so much. She was equally genuine and sold me some services originally I didn t want, but she competed. Again felt she wanted my business. Thank you for the great experience.

I bought a car from GMC & Buick in Woodbridge. Omar was the sales person that helped me. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the car and made sure to answer all my questions. Great environment and amazing people. He made sure I have a full tank of gas and offered me the first oil change for free, helped me with the Onstar process and explained a lot about what it provides. I strongly recommend this dealership as they have fair pricing and make sure you ask for Omar as he values his customers and their time. He made the process fun, easy, and fast.

The team at Koons GMC Woodbridge was super friendly and created a very pleasant atmosphere to make such an important investment with. Jonathan was excellent, wasn't pushy but also made sure to add his point of view gracefully as we went through each step. He has some previous experience that he recalled a few times, that added to my confidence in his opinions. Yeabsira in finance was so friendly and thorough- making sure we safeguarded the investment to the best of our abilities. Abe's team really was exceptional- I would send friends and loved ones if given the opportunity.

10/10 hands down best experience I've ever had buying a car. JC my salesman was on the ball all hours of the day. He was able to get me the car I wanted right from transit to in my hands within a few days and I don't even live in Virginia. He kept me informed and updated with photos and all throughout the process. Not once did I feel pressured or pushed. Scott the finance manager was very great as well and knew what he was talking about which made it very easy to negotiate exactly what I needed and nothing extra. Thank you both for your excellent service, a wonderful experience and getting me back from a tragedy to safe on the road! I can't thank you guys enough!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Recently bought a vehicle. Straight forward dealership. Prices were significantly better than anyone local for a vehicle with lower mileage.My representative, Angel, came on his day off to help with the transaction. I use transaction loosely as Angel continued to remain responsive after the purchase.I requested the vehicle have a minor scuff buffed out. The dealership was closing so they were unable to do it the same day. They promised they would fix it at a later date and lived through their commitment several weeks after the purchase.Thank you for a great experience.

The lady who handles the finance department is the absolute worst. The vehicle I purchased from Koons Woodbridge, I traded in a year and a half later at another dealer and I purchased the extended warranty, Gap, and wheel and tire warranty. Well when I finally got her on the phone 3 weeks ago, she claims I had to call the warranty directly to get my prorated refund back because they don t deal with them anymore, which I found odd because that s not how the refund process works. I ve done this with all my 18 cars I ve purchased in my lifetime this far. I called the warranty company right after and they said they issued the refund to them 2 weeks prior to my phone call. What? Ok, tried calling Koons back right after and hasn t answered the phone since. It s been 4 weeks thus far. If you purchase a vehicle, fine, but do not purchase the extended contracts. They will take your money just fine, but for refunds, good luck. Next plan of action is the better business bureau. Buy safe.

Definitely recommend working with Omar! Told me right away this was his first week. First honest and friendly encounter I ve had at a dealership. They will offer and inform you on their paint protection/interior protection clearly, and when I told him I wasn t interested, he respected that and didn t try to push me into it. He makes promises he can keep, went out of his way to get some details I asked for as soon as he could, was very transparent and I definitely recommend working with him in the future.

I ve owned 56 vehicles, never an issue. That all changed with this dealer. I moved to the area without a car, but had an agreement to have one brought to me the day I arrived. This was the 1st of a number of false promises. Everyone deserves some latitude, but 5 unbroken promises is enough. This was like trying to do business with a used car dealer from the 60 s. Started with the salesman and continued with the manager David Perez. I spent a week waiting on a vehicle I never got. Those apology replies you make when you get negative reviews are of no value. The time to apologize is before a negative review goes public.

Awesome experience purchasing new GMC Acadia AT4 at Koons GMC/Buick in Woodbridge. Great deal, and all staff super friendly and helpful. My salesperson was Jonathan Rivera, and I can t recommend anyone higher if you re looking to purchase a vehicle. We also purchased a vehicle from Koons Tysons Corner years ago and had similar great experience, so Koons just seems to do it right.

I d like to start off by saying that this place was the absolute best, at making us feel welcomed. Shoutout JC, He was an amazing salesman and got me to a vehicle that was seemingly hard to find with my criteria! They spent the whole day allowing me to test drive cars and even spend some extra time with the one i was planning on purchasing just to make sure i really like it, they worked well with us price wise and gave us some good deals and vouchers for some touch-ups on the car. Never had such a good experience at a dealership! The whole team was super helpful from the car buying experience to my trade in, all the way to me accidentally leaving an item in the traded vehicle and then holding it for me till i return! One salesman even gave me input on my vehicle specifically since he drives one himself! I felt like the whole dealership was rooting for me! Definitely some great people! 10/10

I bought a used Bolt EV from here last year. I worked with James Tucker, who was pleasant and interesting. I felt like I got a pretty good deal on the car after a small amount of negotiation. I was financing with a credit union, but I was still open to see if the dealership could beat my rate. That's where the bad stuff started!The finance person called me back and we talked about their offer, which was .01% less than my credit union rate, with the same down payment. I took the deal because it was technically cheaper. Signed that paperwork. They gave me the usual scam spiel about dealer warranties, which I politely declined. I felt like the finance woman was a little bit too pushy, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. After she literally halved the price of the warranty I still declined (if you can take off half the price of something within minutes that's a good indication that the entire thing is worthless!). I got the keys and I drove home.The next day I get a call from the finance department. Apparently they were wrong about their finance deal and it required an additional $2000 down! Thats kind of a big number to miss, right? I told them that I'll just use my credit union financing then. They then said I needed to come back to the dealership that night or tomorrow and give them my credit union check. I told them that it was their screw up and I didn't feel like driving 45+ minutes to woodbridge, but they kept on trying to get me to come in. Finally they offered to have someone come pick up the check, which they should've offered in the first place. Just overall completely amateur hour.Within a few days of driving the vehicle I noticed I was having an issue with an annoying clicking noise and vibration at higher speeds. I reached out to James with these issues and he said he would make inquiries with their service department. Koons has a 7 day return window so I told him that we need to get these issues fixed or that I would be bringing the vehicle back as a return. James told me not to worry, that he would get this taken care of. I then had to pester James for the next several days. The first clicking issue was a Chevy recall software update. James said they couldn't work on it because "the car is electric" so I was on my own. Luckily I brought it to a chevy dealership and they fixed it for me for $140, so no big deal. But the vibration was still there. I took the car to my local shop and they said that the car needed new tires, brake fluid flush, and a couple of other issues coming to around $2000. I told James the bad news and I said I would need them to either do the repair work themselves or they could pay my shop, and if not that I would be returning my car (I had about 2 days left on my return window). James promised me that he would get this issue taken care of, no problem. I then texted and emailed him over the next several days without a response. Finally, and I'm sure by complete coincidence, the day after my return window expired James got back to me and told me that they couldn't do anything because the car passed inspection (which is completely unrelated!). Wow great, thanks for your help James! :(I should have gotten a pre-purchase inspection, lesson learned. I also should have never trusted a car salesman despite his good vibes and seemingly earnest nature.I would avoid this place and just use Carvana. Yeah you'll pay more up front but you don't have to deal with the dealership BS, which this place specializes in.

My in laws want to buy a new car, they re very special and I can tell that this is the first time that they enjoy the experience of buying a car, they had an amazing experience starting with their salesmen Ndifon aka NDO, he went above and beyond our expectations, he listened, he took the time to explain everything, and he was very patient. Everybody at the dealership greeted my father in law and thanked him for the service in the military, he was very happy about it. Just want to say thank you, we had a great time and most importantly they made my in laws happy.

I called this service center after being told something unrealistic from a different service shop and I am so glad I did. Dan Morningstar answered and I am so thankful for him! He is truly amazing and so knowledgeable. I immediately felt better and actually hopeful for my car when I got off the phone with him. I stayed at the service center for several hours and Dan always checked in and kept me up to date, provided me with my options before starting any work and really just made a whole Dealership service experience wonderful! I walked away feeling very happy with my problems resolved and the service team is a really great bunch!!

UPDATE - STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS TRASH DEALERSHIP!4/11/24 - Received several calls back to back at 6:05pm, 6:05pm 6:06pm and 7pm from the dealership, but no one left me a voicemail. I was at work, so I didn't answer.4/12/24 - I called the dealership back at 4:57pm and wasted my time and energy speaking to an incompetent employee by the name of LEDIANA TOSKA who claims to be "customer relations" but with a stank attitude informs me of how we have "hurt them", and how "SPITEFUL" my review was. First of all, who calls a customer spiteful?! Customer service 101 is "the customer is always right", and you should do everything in your power to keep the customer happy and returning as a customer. However, she insisted on only being concerned about herself and her business rather than her customers. As a "customer relations" manager why would you call if it wasn't to rectify the situation? She is piss poor, bottom of the barrel, and should also be terminated along with her jackleg general manager, but here we are. After 34 minutes of "either-ing" her and leaving her speechless, she finally says to come in on Monday, 4/15/24 to talk and try to rectify the matter and eluded to giving us a new vehicle and working something out.4/15/24 - Phone to "customer relations" chick, who wouldn't know the word customer service if it hit her in the face, regarding being unable to make it the dealer due to work obligations. Glad we didn't go because she stated "the line was drawn when I completed the survey and left the review", but she still was trying to help us out and go over her boss's head. Then she mentioned buying a product from Autozone to get the scratches out. Are you dumb? I guess so because why would I allow you to put an unknown product on my new car from Autozone that you said for yourself you don't know if it works. This chick needs to be terminated too because she is as dumb as a box of rocks and is going to cost the dealership customers and money. This dealership needs to clean house and it starts with Abe Yousef!**General Motors Executive Leadership has been informed of ALL of this nonsense via email; Mary Barra - CEO, William Kopicki, Lin-Hua-Wu, and Mark Reuss.**

This dealership is very dishonest and don t fulfill what they promised. They don t return phone calls or emails. I have been trying to get my 2024 brand new truck repaired as it was promised when I purchased the truck from them and up to now managers and sale people have been ignoring my request. I would not buy anything again from this dealership.Today (1/11/24)drove 4 hrs back and forward again to have the rest of the repairs taken care of and what I found again was a completely joke. They did not order all the parts, the paint work was done so poorly, the customer attention is the worse that I have ever encountered. I was told that the car was going to be given a courtesy vehicle while the truck was been fixed that never happened even though I asked for it they just tried to give the way around.When I came to the dealership I was supposed to be met by the sales manager, he was not even at work today. Nobody in this place knew about the issue, so they were just trying to brush it off all the time. The people at sales front desk were very unhelpful, disrespectful and very unprofessional. They got to point to tell me that I needed to called myself GMC to deal directly with them about the parts that needed to be replaced on my truck.I would not recommend the dealership to anybody. I spent over $100,000.00 on my 2024 Sierra 3500 Denali and they don t even care about my business with them, so if you are looking to buy from this place please don t do it because they only want your money and nothing else.
