Do not expect to receive any sort of car help from this place. I stopped by this location to purchase fix-a-flat for my tire that had a serious leak and only 5 psi of air in it. As soon as I walked in, I heard one employee say to another I don t care as long as they re giving us their money Okay, whatever. Wasn t my business. But, then, I was unable to get the fix-a-flat to work on my tire and had to ask for help (since I was literally stuck there). Mind you, I just gave the store my business and was asking for help with something that I purchased from them. You d expect them to be happy to help, especially considering the fact that I was the only customer in the store. Nope! Would you believe that when I asked for help that they not only refused to help me, but went as far as waiting for another customer to come in so that they could ask them to help me instead? What??? Lucky for me, the customer was willing to help, but it was extremely awkward bc the person was obviously driving a work vehicle (and presumably working themselves).The service at this store is just unacceptable. I ve never experienced such poor customer service and lack of professionalism from a business.

Worst shopping experience. Do not get Leybi to help you, she has the worst attitude and will not try to help you. Her attitude made me want to throw up. Never coming back to this place.

If I could give them zero stars I would. No type of assistance at all, manager on duty just stood there and looked dumb founded. I came to get assistance on new battery that was installed by another advanced auto parts because it kept stalling randomly. So it stalled right in front of this particular Auto Parts so I figured hey could somebody come out and at least tell me why it keeps doing it or check to see if they installed it right? Which I thought was a fair assessment. After waiting to be acknowledged for several minutes I finally ask and was told to just go back to the store that installed it. Mind you they have FREE battery testing and installation and I would have even tipped or paid something just for some type of assistance. So instead of helping me or even coming to see what the issue was I was turned away and told to go else where??? And this was 2 older black gentleman, one which seemed to be the manager. Needless to say I had to pop my hood and rig it to start myself but those 2 men were completely useless.

Worse service ever. Front desk guy rude and you could tell he didnt want to help. Then told me I could purchase a battery but they won't install because it was sprinkling outside. Turned away a 65 year old lady because it was sprinkling. Great service. NOT!

I've never had better customer service in my life. I came in with a bad battery and Lindsay was very patient and helpful. She went above and beyond to trouble shoot the issue before I replaced my battery and provided me with peace of mind in making the appropriate decision.

This is the second time I ve had a great experience at this location within the last month. I had a really nice lady help me earlier, I think her name is Shiyana. I apologize if I spelled your name wrong but anyway she was very polite and extremely helpful. She helped me track down my receipt that was nearly impossible to find and then helped me get out of my dilemma. She s was very professional and super awesome! Thank you so much for helping me. You all rock!

Went to this Advance Auto Parts today to buy a new battery for my vehicle and Eric provided me with great customer service, he showed me all my options and made it a quick and easy transaction, he even installed the new battery for me, I was in and out in less than 25 minutes. Big thanks to Eric, keep up the great work!

I had a bad experience.4 people on line waiting as the only visible counter person was busy with a customer. We could hear other employees talking and carrying out of sight and they could have helped the waiting people. Waited 20 minutes to purchase a bulb. Ridiculous.

Since Shoppers grocery left this area, I think people forget that this auto jewel is here. And that is a tragedy. I was directed here by a car shop that didn't have what I needed. And guess what? They were right!!! Advance had what I needed and saved me the trip, time, and the cost of going to my dealership. I was able to get a battery for my key fob and they even changed it for me. So I was back and operational in minutes!The only negative was there was no readily available sanitizer upon entrance. Sigh. Every place can't be perfection. But with the time and cost savings, I will definitely go back (but I will just take my own sanitizer)!

The young lady whom I talked with on the phone before I went there was knowledgeable about the kind of wiper blades I was looking for. After I got there, another young woman was working there and even though it was near closing time, they helped me avoid another trip the next morning. The first young lady installed all three blades and was very professional and friendly. Now I can drive safely in the predicted bad weather. Kudos to these wonderful examples of good customer service.

The employees were helpful, but seemed a bit understaffed at the time. It would be nice to have one person always free for those who are making purchases that doesn't require assistance. There was a man buying oil that had to wait behind a woman who needed a LOT of assistance with her car part purchase. The employee was very patient and helpful to her, but had there been a cashier available, he wouldn't have had to stress about the rest is the customers.

Store remains open until late even on Sundays which is great. I walked in to get my vehicle's battery replaced. To my surprise I didn't have to do it myself and they do it free on most vehicles. Staff were very courteous and helpful. They didn't rush me and answered my question and helped me with the product I needed.

I got the Worst customer service at the Woodbridge Location. I went there looking for an air filter for my Dodge Grand Caravan, the store was empty. The lady that helped me first gave me a number on a piece of paper and told me to go look for it myself. I agreed but it took me a while because the were not very organized. Then I went to the register to pay an there was another guy ringing, so he told me it was $50. I ve bought air filters for that car every year so I know they usually sell me the generic brands for around $20. I asked him if they had other options and he replied if you are looking for the cheap cheap, go to amazon.com. But the computer screen was tilted towards me and I could see they had other options. When I asked about the othe brand he acted like they didn t have it and went to the lady that helped me first. They took a long time in the back and showed me one that cost $20. I purchased it and gave them my phone number to save my purchase under my profile. At the end of the day I went home to install the filter and It was the wrong one. I was so frustrated that I went to my local store in Manassas to get the right one and the guys over there said they had not saved my purchase on my profile. I needed the receipt. They sold me the right filter this time but didn t exchange the other one because I forgot where I left the receipt. Now I Just found the receipt and will return it today but because of this experience I think I will be purchasing parts from other companies from now on.

Bought headlights here. They looked up my make model and gave me the wrong ones that cost 100+ dollars and told me they were the only type my car accepted. Took them home tried to install to find they didn't fit. Returned them for a perfectly fine set of 12$ lights. They were quite helpful, but be somewhat skeptic of their recommendations.

8:58 and closed. Not cool. I was just picking up an order that was placed online. UPDATE: go figure the part was out of stock but the customer service was so great I boosted my review. The part was ordered in to the store the next day so when I arrived it was there. Tanks again!

Last week i was driving to northern virginia with my family and noticed my back brakes were bad. Ive changed front brakes many times over the years but have never had to do the back. I needed a special tool and a little help to get it done. Sales associate Anna is hands down the most helpful person i have ever encountered at a part store. I was expecting a 15 minute job and as i lost the sun she helped me by getting me the tools i needed, a steady hand for holding the flashlight, and some elbow grease to get the job done. Thanks Anna and thank you advance auto.

Advance Auto has a great variety of parts on hand. Order ahead online and you can save a few bucks. They'll even check your Check Engine light codes for free. They lost a star because the line moves very slowly.

They do a decent job of making sure you're taken care of. Be friendly, and you're treated well. Go in there and act like a piece of garbage, expect to be treated as such. Good people, ok prices, great service.

After a dreadful day of car problems, while on a road trip, I ended up parked at Exxon down the road who was trying to charge me $800 to fix my alternator. My friend had experience working on cars so he new we might be able do the replacement ourselves, we walked to advance autoparts and Leydi and Yonatan were like angels! So extremely helpful answering questions, offering help in whatever way possible and over all they were extremely kind and had amazing customer service! Even willing to stay after close to help us charge our battery back up. Without there amazing willingness to help I would not have been able to afford my car fixes and we would be stuck to sleep on my car overnight. I dealt with multiple auto shops that day and this one was without a doubt the most helpful. Huge thanks again to Leydi and Yonatan (we finished replacing the alternator and made it home safely :))

This place is never busy, which is a good thing, but come prepared. The people working there don't seem to even have an average level of car knowledge.They'll try to give you "selling points" on items, but if you ask for details other then what's printed on the screen, they become deer in headlights.Example, when purchasing a new battery, the kid behind the counter was telling me "this one is good, with [X] cold crank rating". Just to see if he knew what he was pushing, I asked him what a cold crank rating was... he shrugged and said he didn't know.So if you need a part fast, come here, if you need advice on parts, go to another location.

Bought my rear wiper blade at different location that told me they couldn't put on rear wiper blades only front , accidently broke the piece I needed, took it to this location who replaced the piece I needed with a spare one and they put it on for me. Thanks. I will come here from now on!

I have no idea how this place has 4 stars. I have been here 3 times and it is a waste of time the workers have no costumer service experience and there attitude is horrible, they really need to consider hiring better staff never going back to this place again.

no customer service at all. Not very helpful. 2 people standing around and tells me where I might find what I am looking for with out showing me. WOW your legs broke to walk 15ft down your isle. Won't come back here
