Just came to adavance auto parts and ask for Ryan to help me out with car. He help me get the right plugs I had bought from another advance auto. He did awesome costomer serivce into puto the clips on to make sure I had the right ones because I extra. Thank you Ryan. Also, been this store before all staff are very professional. Thank you.

Been here a couple times and never had an issue with staff. Employees have always been professional and helpful even when they didn't have the part.

Just had front door customer representative, Wesley, go out of his way to assist my issue. I couldn't figure out how to replace a driver's side wiper that I purchased somewhere else. No questions asked and said, "Let's see how I can help?". He installed it in 1 min and I was out. I am very grateful for his assistance. Thank you very much and I will definitely be coming to this store for parts.

I did ordered a part from this place the guy told me your order it will be in tomorrow by noon the next day i went to pick up my order and the same guy said come back within an hour after an hour said the something two or three times i did waste all day i m very disappointed no service no communicationStore # 4151

I came by to dropped some package for returning and ended having the best customer service and took advantage of getting some batteries for my key remote control (Alessandro) kindly changed the batteries helped me getting out my big package from my trunk with a heavy rainy day! Then l needed to have my shipping label print but l was not aware l usually just have them scanned from my phone Manager Byron kindly help me resolving this issue! Thank you very much for your great customer service

Customer service is supreme.Very tentative to details and helpful when servicing battery exchanges, headlight ans do forth.I recommend them very highly because they deliver online and in person results.Thank you teamwork for anyone's DreamWorks...no pun intended..

I stopped in at the Dale City store this evening to get 3 new wiper blades and as I was checking out the employee said that he would change them for me for free. I accepted the offer and unfortunately he accidentally broke my rear wiper arm. Luckily they had a replacement arm in stock. A big shout out to Dom who personally took over and replaced the arm with the new blade I had purchased! Now I am back in business! I appreciate them taking care of the problem so quickly so I could get on my way!

Dom and his team deliver excellent and professional customer service. All were attentive and helpful to me to find the right parts. They kindly offered advice and help when I ve needed it. This is a well-run store and all the employees seem to have the same helpful attention and great attitude consistent qualities hard to find in retail today. 5-stars!!

Out of the way of the main shopping area and bit ghetto, but received helpful service from an older worker named Mo for a part that was not available at half a dozen stores nearby me. I was surprised by the young age of the other workers - they were pretty useless. There was also an older Spanish-speaker male worker outside helping a woman with her car, and he seemed very helpful and engaged with her car problem. Overall neutral/fine trip, so 5-stars. Hopefully I won't have to be back in Dale City again!

Picked up a UPS order. It's very convenient. Unfortunately the staff always has trouble handling UPS packages. Keeping forgetting how to log in so I can sign for my package. Short wait giving me time to shop for my car. Done on purpose? Always spend money I didn't plan on.

I bought a part online for in-store pick up at the store in Manassas because no store in my area had the part. When I tried the part, the part did not fit my vehicle. I called the store where I got the part from for a solution and they told me that rather then me drive 30+ minutes to the store, I could take the part to any store and they would gladly issue a refund and I would be able to order the correct part there since it was not in stock.I decided to take the part to the Advance Auto in Dale City which is a few minutes from my home on the same day that the part was bought and only about two hours of having the part in my possession. I was explaining why I was returning the part to the cashier when along comes the manager, Mo, who starts to examine the part very intensely. I couldn't figure out why he was so invested in looking so hard at the part since it was a simple return and the error was made on their part. He then said he could not take the part back. I asked why not if I had a receipt and the part was not a fit. He went on to say that it was because his store would not absorb the loss and said that I needed to take it back to the store where I bought it from. I told him that the store was far and that I was told that I could take it to any store. I asked him to focus on customer service rather than his loss that he kept repeating. I explained that his store is part of a chain that draws from the same well and that it shouldn't matter what bucket the water was coming from. He was very determined about his numbers and even admitted to knowing that I was issued a bad part but that he would not take the loss. He went as far as saying that I was issued a used part at the other store and falsely claimed natural manufacturing marks on the plastic as proof.My humble opinion is that because I am Hispanic and there is a large non-English speaking community that Mo's store serves, he felt that I was just another Hispanic problem for him that he could easily dismiss without a care for customer service and without regard for his company's policies. I have a strong suspicion that if I were a white shopper Mo would have issued the refund without hesitation. I am a firm believer in customer service and spend my money where I receive good customer service. This experience will definitely affect what store I get my parts from. Luckily, this is not the only parts store in the area.I was able to return the part and receive my refund at another store where it literally took them two minutes to complete the transaction. Managers like Mo should be demoted or retrained on customer service.

Great / terrific service. I had my windshield blades replaced in just a few minutes. Employees were so very helpful. I will definitely be back to buy all of my auto parts at this location .

I came in for a persistent problem with a battery that I purchased back in January. I've came into the store several times and received no resolution to my car battery consistently dying. My mechanic thoroughly checked my car several times and said there's nothing wrong with my car that it's the battery.Na-jhaun was extremely helpful and quickly resolved this headache of a problem.

When you order online, sometimes the website isn't accurate and the part doesn't actually fit your car. At this store Mohsin Q. immediately started arguing with me about returning the part and had a bad attitude. I didn't want a fight, I would've just been happy with a refund because the part cannot be used but he didn't provide good service at all. He barely even let me get a word in to explain why I needed a refund.

It's a nice store, you're standard auto parts store. The reason for 4 stars is when I went my check engine light was on and I asked if they could read the code for me. The guy behind the register said the system was down. Also it's annoying to get to. It's not in a great location. On the other side of a Wendy's. In a parking lot that really only has one exit that has a light.

SCAM ARTISTS SELLING USED PARTS****** We bought a refurbished starter. Turned out to not be the right one, so tried to return it. Was told the starter had been used and they couldn t take it back. Said cable was worn and there were marks.said box was dirty ( white box touched by someone working on a car- duh!!! Of course it s dirty!!) I pointed out that it was refurbished, not new. They said they wouldn t sell it that way. But they did!! Lesson- never use these scam artists! Two, open the box in the store to make sure it s not a used restock!! Stole our Money!!!

Open up until 10 PM. They carry many stuff that you may not find other places. They have an online inventory that you can check prior to your visit to make sure they have the part you need. Not over priced or anything. Kinda dusty and I have yet to find a super friendly soul here, most of them do what they are supposed to check you out and that's it. Long wait times at the register sometimes

Ok well I needed a muffler which is apparently in stock at the Dale Blvd location. After waiting in line with numerous other people the poor guy could not find it in the back. I asked if I could go look. Which is no longer allowed, so I go anyway but I'm no more familiar with where the items are, than the employees. So they apparently called the police. Leaving in an appropriately timely fashion and to no avail, I left. I have been going to this store for about 25 years. I found the part at PEP Boys $20 bucks cheaper this morning. Thanks so much.

Great place. A gentleman named Hector was extremely helpful to the point of getting under my car with me to make sure i purchased the correct aftermarket performance mufflers.If you are listening advance auto, promote that man. Seriously. This world could use half the customer service this man provided me.

Called for a radiator hose for a 2006 Volvo S80. They said they would set it aside and that they had it in stock. I Gave them my number. Went there to pick up, and they didn t have it. Please do a visual check on your inventory before telling customers you have something in stock. also your computer system said you had one in stock so please correct that In the system so you re not telling customers you have one in stock when you don t. Also I should have gotten a phone call from someone after they realized it wasn t in stock when they told me they would pull it aside. This would have saved me a thirty minute commute. Gotta do better with the basics guys!

I just finished up at the Dale City location, 4132 Dale Blvd. The manager was very helpful in getting someone to assist in getting a Battery tested and replaced. The employee who was assigned was named Kevin! He went out of his way and gave me Superior customer service from testing the battery and then getting located, paid for a replaced! This shout out is for Kevin who did a great job!

I was trying to get the correct wiper blade replacement and Phil and Hector were so kind and helpful. Phil even came out (in the rain) to see what the issue was and installed the new proper wiper blade for me. They really made my day!

The store has a good selection of parts and the employees are personable, but it seems like there is a pretty big line most of the time, so it's hard to get in and out and back to working on the car. Some of that is that there are a lot of customers, and many of them require a lot of assistance, but some is also that there aren't enough employees working through the busy times.

This store is near my house so it's very convenient for me. They have a good inventory and service is good everytime I go. Recently got my wiper blades replaced at no extra charge for installation!!

Nice clean store, can find most of what you need but the line can get backed up easily if someone is on break, understandable.Also, word of advice, older African American female employee there really half asses your search. The computer will say it's there, she'll go look for it for 30 seconds come back and tell you it's out of stock.I've noticed this before and will get back in line and literally wait for anyone else and they'll go back and find the part.Only mentioned race and age to identify her in case you really need that part.

This place is extremely busy and the reason why is cause they re good. Parts were easy to find the associate who assisted me directed me to the right people and they manage to swap my battery during the evening rush on a Friday. Good job guys!!!

I ordered car window deflectors through the store. When I got home after I picked them up from the store, I opened the box and one of them was cracked. So, I took them back. They ordered new ones and they were damaged too when I opened the box. While it was inconvenient for me keep going back and forth, I just asked for a replacement. However, the manager was rude and she accused me of damaging the window deflectors. All I did was opening the box and realized one of the deflectors was damaged. I never installed them on the car and took them off. I don't understand how is that my fault. Anyways, after that incident, I never went there again. Instead, I started shopping at Auto Zone.

I had really bad experience at this store today, (March 22, 2022) especially the assistant manager (Jose) behavior, he was very unprofessional and very rude. Threatened to call cops on me even though I have not done anything wrong , I simply wanted to exchange a battery that we bought like a month ago. Anyways I won't shop from advance auto parts anymore.
