The people at Meineke seem like very honest mechanics. My car needed a new transmission and the quote they gave me made sense with all of the research I did. I didn't have them fix it, but they were very nice and allowed me to keep my car in their parking lot until I figured out what to do with it. Everyone I spoke with was nice throughout the whole transaction. I would use them for future repair work for sure.

Great service all around! I will continue to use Meineke car care on Valley Avenue for all of my car needs. They are prompt, friendly, professional, honest and have accommodated me multiple times in helping me get out their door as quickly as possible. Thank you for great service!!

Meineke was very easy to deal with, from the appt to the estimate to the repair. My daughters car was fixed within an hour and she was back on the road. The price was reasonable as well. Thank you!

Didn t get the expected experience.Went there to get a cheaper service vs Audi dealership, ended up paying additional diagnostics fee for exact diagnostics which was rejected by CarShield. Should have known that I will need to pay the diagnostics fees with or without work.

I had to stop by Meineke Car Care Center today because I had a message on my dash that kept reading that my tire pressure was low on the passenger side. Since they had serviced my car always, I went to them as I did not know where else to go. They took me right in and explained the problem due to cold weather. I appreciated the quick service and advice @ no charge. Thank you. I am glad they will be moving just around the corner next month and not clear across town.

Meineke of Winchester has provided me with honest, respectful service for years. It s difficult to trust guidance from anyone selling you, but Meineke has never steered me wrong, they know my name when I come through the door, and I appreciate their customer service, and every service I ve received has never required remediation. Great team!

Had a charging system issue with the truck during a 600 mile family trip. They got us right in for system testing, and after checking the charging system thoroughly, they confirmed my suspicion that the alternator needed replacing. They were able to get the new alternator and install it in less than an hour and we were back on our way. It wasn't cheap, but they were fast and efficient when we really needed that. Thanks again y'all.

I would like to thank Oz Nembhard and his crew for saving our Christmas trip to see the family. We were overheating on I81 and we called his shop to see if they could help us. It was late in the day, so Oz said to come in first thing in the morning and he would make us a priority and get us on our way, and he did just that. Great service from everyone involved, thank you!!

BUYER BEWARE! Let me tell you about my experience with Meineke at 2290 Valley Avenue, Winchester, VA 22601. Around six months ago, we noticed that our son s air conditioner wasn t working correctly. When you turned the knob to levels 2, 3, or 4, it would make a horrible sound. We took the car into Meineke to have it looked at. Oz, who manages the front desk, said he would get it in immediately and take a look since we were leaving for vacation. Almost a week later, while we were at the beach, Oz called back and told us it would be $1200 to replace the AC blower motor. We authorized him to proceed. A few days later, he called back to tell us they replaced the motor, but it still doesn t work on #4 but #1, #2, #3 were good to go. When we asked why, he said the housing was damaged, and that was the best they could do. Without any other options, we pay the $1500+ and get a partially fixed car in return.Fast forward a month and the A/C doesn t work again. We are back to a horrible sound now, regardless of what setting the A/C is on. We called asking about warranty service to get it fixed, and Oz agreed to take a look, so we dropped off the car again. Three days later, we called the shop to find out the status. They never looked at it but said we could pick it up. Oz said that he remembered the situation and had no need to take it apart because he couldn t get the part to fix it. He then told us if we could find the part, he would install it at NO CHARGE. We assumed he was trying to make it right since they didn t fix the problem in the first place and replaced a motor that didn t need to be replaced.Last week, I found a junkyard that had the part we needed. I paid $367 to have the part removed from the other vehicle. I called Oz and let him know the good news. Even though a couple of months passed, he remembered the situation and said he would get it in, so we dropped off the car last Friday. Today, I got a repair estimate for over $1800. I called Oz, confused and reminded him of our conversation, to which he told me he had never said that and it was a lot of work. He couldn t do it for free. I distinctly remember him saying NO CHARGE because he said it in a way that made it seem like he was doing us a favor despite never addressing the problem, to begin with. Regardless, he went back on his word and refused to repair the vehicle correctly. So, I paid $1200 to replace a motor that didn t need replacing and another $367 for a part I can t install myself. The worst part is that it's cold, and our son has to drive to school that doesn t have heat.It's hard to find a reputable and honest car repair place, but let me tell you, this one isn t it. The manager was very swift at what they do. He explained everything very well and he seems to have a lot of experience. I would recommend anyone to Menieke for the oil change or all your car needs. They are Professional just asked for the Manager

Wanted to give a big shout out to Meineke in Winchester for taking such good care of us as we were traveling out of state. While we were driving something broke loose in our car and started making a horrible noise. My husband thought it might be the transmission and we were sure that we would miss reaching our destination all together! We slowly mapped the closest Meineke and pulled into the store in Winchester with panic and sadness. The manager assured us that he would get to our vehicle right away and the mechanic who was going to lunch even postponed it to put our car on a lift and check out the damage! To our surprise and sincere thanks, we found out it wasn't the transmission at all but the heat shield that had come loose and was just about to get entangled in our drive shaft! Meineke got our permission to remove the heat shield from the vehicle all together WITHOUT CHARGE! Can you imagine that! Our day and our vacation that started as a disaster wound up with such a blessing! I know that in saying this, the manager may be inviting a lot of requests for free service, but I wanted to say that this manager truly saw how devastated we were and really went out of his way to make our entire trip better because of this one action.

Would give this center a 10 star, they did everything over and above. They were able to find parts for our land rover quickly,even drove us to the hotel where dwe stayed, since it was over the weekend.

Traveling for Christmas to see family. Car overheat a couple of times. Stop and I called Meineke and they fixed the problem. Osbert was so kind and helpful. Thank you again for your help and getting us back to our Chritmas trip to our family. Specially our Granddaughter

I took my truck in for an oil change and inspection. The place was empty so my truck got in fast. While waiting, the employee doing most of the customer interaction was especially off putting. Making crude, awkward jokes to customers. When new customers walked in he kept telling everyone that it was going to take at least a few hours to get their vehicle into the shop. The place was not that busy. I understand that he was trying to tell people it was going to take a little while to get there cars in but the way he was doing it made it seem like he was annoyed that several people came in in short order. He made the whole place feel tense. So after this experience I was happy to see my vehicle was finished...until I got into the drivers seat. First I noticed the giant patch of adhesive left on the windshield then I noticed that beside the old sticker was a crack (as seen in the picture). When I went in to talk to the employee previously mentioned he basically explained to me how it had to have already been there. But i told him it wasn t there before... I would have seen it and they should have seen it during the inspection and should have made note of it. It was right beside the old sticker they somewhat removed. So he took a picture and said my boss will have to call you back about it to which I never got a phone call. I understand there may have been a tiny little crack that happened to have gotten bigger and more visible but combined with the fact of the awkward waiting room, the sticker remnants, and how he handled the situation all added up to the one star review and the bad taste in my mouth. DO NOT GO HERE. I would rather burn my vehicle than take it back there

Good morning,To describe the experience I had at Meineke, I had been having issues with my exhaust system, I was dreading it because of the cost.My car is a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu and I love my old car!I researched the matter and found that it could cost me three times the amount to replace the old exhaust system, as Os charged me for the parts, which I only needed a new muffler, and not a whole new system.THANKS to the team for checking this out, prior to my appointment to install.This, I think was on a Friday and by Tuesday morning, the part was in, I drove my car to the shop and the replaced the muffler right away while I waited. Within the hour, my muffler was installed.I am very happy with the sales and service that I received here at Meineke, and I will return for any other matters with my car.Great people and great service!!Thank you Os, for your prompt service, and to your team for the great service.

I was traveling and I was an hour away from my home. My car started making a very loud knocking noise. After my sister checked for a local mechanic (she doesn't leave in that area either), she found this one and they were available to look at my car immediately. After the mechanic (Richard) looked at my car, he discovered that one wheel was very loose. He tightened it and looked to see if it had caused any other damage to my car. The charge was minimal. My sister lives about 1/2 away and has said that she intends to use them for her own vehicle.

We were pulling our RV and stopped for 3 nights in Winchester VA. Our truck had a major front suspension issue going on and we were extremely worried about even driving it any further. However we called the local Meineke shop there on Valley Ave and when we told them the issue they told us to bring it over immediately and they would look at it. They put the truck on the lift and immediately saw the issue. They quoted us a price and had the parts to fix it the next day! By noon they had the truck repaired and we were able to leave the next day with no fears. We made it back to FL with no further issues. We can t thank the folks at that Meineke for their commitment to quality service and the outstanding customer service they afforded us in our time of desperation! Thank you Valley Ave Winchester VA. Took a hour and half I was only person in the store and they changed me 110.oo and then I noticed that the air filter was need for replacement and I was in a tdi jetta they didn't change fuel filter... I was like I was in a rush but it will not happen again.

Os and staff were efficient and quick ! Replaced my AC unit within 24 hrs on the hottest day of the summer. He was even concerned with the cost and made some calls to work a deal if there was one. I will consult with Meineke, Winchester VA each and every time now for repairs on my old model SUV. Highly recommended.

Greetings,We scored 1 star as a demonstration of dismay towards your business morals.Our chief complaint on our front wheel drive, 4cyl vehicle was steering wheel rattle at highest speeds.As consumers, we thought it might have been a car of wheel alignment, which we were quoted $118.Your suggestion was for your technician to test drive our vehicle and to place it off a lift to diagnose.Shortly thereafter, we received a comprehensive report with images and a final recommendation.The two main items associated with the steering rattle at highway speeds were:1. Upper and lower bushings Quoted approximatelya $331 job2. Inner and outer tierods Quoted approximatelyan $1,180We were not satisfied with these prices, so we relayed to you that we elected not to have the vehicle serviced at this time.We took our vehicle to another service center and their diagnostic identified a slightly bent front passenger rim.The solution was to balance all ties and transfer that warped room to the passenger rear.The total cost was $39.95, a potential difference of (- $1,470).This, to us, makes us feel like Meineke as a whole, is an unreputable business, deserving of this deplorable review.This might be an indicator as to the reason your parking lot is empty and your competitor has a lot full to above half of its total alloted parking spaces.We seem this review worthy enough to make it to Meineke headquarters. Welcoming an internal review of this particular establishment located at 2290 Valley Rd, Winchester, VA.In closing, the near $40 repair at your competitor resolved our issue completely.We recommend to potential customers avoid having their vehicles serviced at your establishment.Additionally, we have decided to share our experience with the better business bureau in case other consumers have experienced and reported similar deplorable practices.

So easy and convenient! I was able to set a date and time for my inspection where as most places are first come first serve and can take hours of waiting. The staff contacted about the ability to come in earlier for my appt which was great! I was able to get my inspection completed thoroughly, quickly and in a professional manner such an easy process! As a new resident of the area this was my second year using this business as my go to inspection location and they did not disappoint again this year! Highly recommend!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Meineke in Winchester never disappoints. My daughter and I met at Meineke for her car knowing that there was an issue with the muffler and needed to be fixed in order to pass pass inspection. It also needed some regular maintenance, an oil change. Os, the owner knew my daughter was on a time constraint because she needed to pickup her children from daycare. He accommodated her and she was well within time to pickup the children from daycare.
