I had a brake issue the day I was supposed to leave Floyd, and my Airbnb host recommended B&S. I got there right before they opened, and the nice gentleman who opened the office door immediately got my car onto the lift to take a look at it after I explained that I had to travel to Baltimore for work that afternoon. After a thorough check, during which they eliminated other potential causes of the issue, Ricky, a different mechanic, informed me that I d need a new brake master cylinder. Unfortunately, getting the part would take a day, but he assured me that if I got there first thing the next morning, that they d take care of me right away. I was there before anyone else the next day, and true to his word, they got me in right away, and fixed the problem in a couple of hours. He apologized for it taking so long, but I know that good work cannot be rushed, and I appreciated his attention to detail. I was nervous about the bill, as we didn t discuss what it would cost prior to them working on the car. When they charged me for the work, I ll admit that I was surprised, albeit in a positive way! The bill was extremely reasonable for the work that they did.I cannot recommend them highly enough, for their expertise and meticulousness, for their integrity, and for being so kind to me. I know lots of mechanics who would simply have guessed at the problem, instead of using a process of elimination to find the actual cause, as they did, or who would have taken advantage of a one-off opportunity to make some easy money from the out-of-towner. But they did me right, and I m willing to bet that they d do the same for you. Thank you, Ricky and everyone else at B&S!!Service: Brakes

I've had a couple good experiences with b&s before this, but I'll never go here again. I took my van to the garage because it overheated, was told I needed a new radiator hose. Easy fix, was told it would be done Friday when the part arrived. I called Friday morning, was told it would be done that afternoon. Came in that afternoon, it was not done. On Monday I came back, was charged $98 for one hose and "antifreeze". I went out and opened my radiator to find it EMPTY. no antifreeze whatsoever and would have burned my motor up if I had started it. Not only that, they never even put the hose on. It is now STILL IN THE SHOP and won't be done till tomorrow evening. Do not come to this garage.

I was traveling south from new york to get back home to florida heading into tropical storm elsa and my passenger side window was stuck down completely inside the door. I luckily stumbled upon these guys and approached a young kid and asked him for some help, he dropped everything and got my window up and secured it until I get a perm repair...I asked, what do I owe and no matter how many times I insisted he waved me off.....kid, you were a life saver, you have no idea how much I appreciated what you did....GOD Bless You!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My pickup truck was in Daryl's shop for 4 months and in my nearly weekly calls to explain I badly needed the truck for farm work and to check on repair progress I was told same thing every time by Daryl "I haven't gotten to it but I'll try next week". Next week never came. The truck was finally towed back to my house when I made abundantly clear my patience had worn out. I found out the truck had not been looked at even once since the day I left it there months earlier. Daryl claimed he knew how to fix it but "just couldn't get to it". The fact that it wasn't even looked at once while others' cars and trucks were presumably repaired in turn in a timely way means Daryl either lied about knowing how to make the repair, and/or repeatedly lied each time he told me he'd get to it "next week". In all that time Daryl never spontaneously called me once to give updates; I had to call every time and only when I'd finally get through would I once again have to listen to him repeat his run-around story. Obviously, when I dropped the truck off, had I been told that Daryl will only get to repairs when he damn well pleases, and that may be months, I never would have left my truck there. Working with B&S was a truly miserable experience marked by a complete absence of customer care and, worse, common decency.

Put the wrong fuel line on my car it needed a high pressure fuel line and not a regular line. When I drove it home at night the line blow off and I had to drive it to where I could get cellphone service. To call a tow truck so I had to pay for a another tow truck a tank of gas and parts and service again for a new fuel line.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

After $600 and 5 months, my problem is still unresolved. Darrell did the best he could with my vehicle but couldn't figure out the problem.

They do great work .I will keep taking my vehicles to B&S till I am dead...If you need work done on your truck car or anything..Take it to B&S ..
