Awesome! They ran all the tests, drove my car, did everything they could, but couldn't find a problem. They charged me nothing! They put my mind at such ease that they didn't try to fix something they couldn't find broke. I recommend them to everyone! Where can you find anyone that will be honest enough not to make up something wrong so they can charge you for it? God bless them for being honest!

I had my 02 Dodge Dakota with 259,000 miles inspected yesterday at Williamsburg Automotive. They are the best of the best! When you meet the best over all the rest, you know it. They treat all their customers with respect and dignity. That goes a long way in this day and age. It doesn't matter the vehicle they work on, old or new, you will be treated fairly. They're not out to get you like other shops who don't care about the customer or act like they're doing you a favor

I don't usually write reviews, but the manager here was so kind that I just had to. Came in for a brake inspection today, and even though I didn't have an appointment, I only waited for about an hour. When my brakes turned out to be completely fine, the manager didn't charge me a cent! Will definitely be coming here again if anything comes up with my car.

Highly recommend this business. Really nice and honest people and the work they did was excellent. We had just arrived in town to start vacation and unfortunately needed work done right away. I brought the car in on a Monday afternoon hoping to just set up a time in a day or two to bring the car in to be looked at and limit the time we would be without our car during vacation. To my surprise the owner and the lead mechanic had my car being looked at within 5 minutes of arrival. We needed to have brakes done and they completed the job within 2 1/2 hours. Really helped us out. The cost was very fair and the owner even pointed out other items that would need to be worked on in the near future but could wait until I returned home. They provided phenomenal service! They took in my 2004 Toyota Sienna for service and replaced my starter and welded my exhaust pipe. My van now runs smoothly and quietly down the road. Highly recommend

***PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE STORY**I been ripped off by places to get my car inspected every year, i have a 2002 buick rendezvous, awesome first car EVER!So by 2021 i went to my decent dealership cause they fixed my steering wheel (which cost alot )....so i got my car inspected and they say my car failed saying it needed ALOT of parts to be fixed to pass....(i just had that feeling i got ripped off) SOOOOO by 2022, a great friend of mine send me here to Williamsburg Automotive, and i need to tell ya this place is awesome! Mike and his gang helped me out alot on this situation. (Turns out i only needed was a turn signal lightbulb to be replaced to pass )Not only he helped me fixed that problem but the parts that needed to be fixed was just only my serpentine belt and control arm to my right front side(which mike has said "it could be done sooner its not a problem, its still good.")...and that dealership wanted me to replace a whole bunch of stuff for over 3,000...Since then i been a regular customer to Williamsburg Automotive, after i got my serpentine belt and control arm fixed, whenever i have a problem i go there! Mike and his gang will help u out and wont overcharge ya like the dealership tried to do to me.Williamsburg automotive has very friendly customer service and i will continue being a customer.

Always honest. He has proven his integrity and honesty several times and now has my business forever. They take care of all my vehicles and work vans and I so much appreciate them. I trust them 100%. I would not go anywhere else. Sooooo glad I found them.

My Family were on our way to Williamsburg VA from Philadelphia PA and about 110 miles away from Wyndham Kingston resort, our Explorer lost rpm s and the AC cut out while on 301 talking about stressed . It was our 17yos birthday week, going to visit colleges and then this! We eventually made it to our destination, but all we could think about was how much it was going to cost us to get back to Philly. I texted the front desk and asked for recommendations of reputable mechanics nearby and I was given one name brand but I said listen, I need a place that will see our PA tag and not charge us up unnecessarily because we gotta get home. And that s where Williamsburg Automotive came in I called the next morning and the guy who answered said bring her in and after Ubering my daughter and niece to Busch Gardens my husband and I were on our way. We left it for a couple hours and he called and gave us all the options solenoid blah blah 2 cylinders blah misfire blah up to $1000 job. We were preparing ourselves to have to pay it and he said BUT let s try something else first, change the oil completely drive it around with ac on and it didn t duplicate the issue $117 total. He said you should be fine going back but just in case here s the codes. Long story short if you re ever in trouble on vacation in Williamsburg, I highly recommend Williamsburg Automotive, honest, friendly, knowledgeable and just a pleasant and very unexpected experience so far from home! I called for advice and help, a tourist 300 miles from home with car trouble. Manager Marcus calmed me down, gave me directions, pulled a car out to take me right in. Fixed my car and sent us on our way.A man of his word, could have taken advantage of a tourist, but gave quick honest service. Waiting area clean and comfortable. Honest price. Couldn't ask for more. A local business with integrity !

Micah is a man of true integrity. I was in town as an obvious tourist. My wife noticed some drips on the pavement as we parked our car at our hotel. I inspected under the car and found a puddle. I thought it was likely just water from the A/C, but I checked other fluids then, and the next morning, and noticed that the level of radiator fluid had dropped a couple of inches, so it seemed like a concerning leak. I took the car to Williamsburg Automotive based on the good ratings and left it with them to return to be with my wife at Colonial Williamsburg. About an hour later, Micah had put the radiator system through a pressure check and found no leak. He could find nothing else wrong and concluded that I was just noticing normal expansion/contraction of the fluid and its effect on the level in reserve chamber. He topped off the fluid just so I could be sure going forward where the level should be when the engine was cool. I said "Great, how much do I owe you?", and he said "Nothing". I tried to argue with him a bit but he insisted that the car didn't have a problem and he wasn't going to charge me for not fixing anything (even though he clearly put meaningful time into checking things out). He said "Bring it back to me when you have real problem" (which was a joke since he knew I would be returning to Ohio). So I can hardly express how impressed I am. There are plenty of other 5-star reviews here that will attest to the quality, price, timeless, etc. of this operation. I am here to tell you what a stand-up guy Micah is, and his team and business by extension.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great place! As a woman, mechanic shops can be hit or miss. I was there for an inspection, was able to make an appointment, had a few minor things fixed and was on my way in less than an hour. I didn't feel talked down to or intimidated. Will DEFINITELY be back for other services

Contacted the fine gentlemen on Friday of Easter weekend to help with car that wouldn't start. They helped coordinate tow and completed repairs in only a few hours. Very open, honest, and respectful; they provided clear diagnosis and expected cost that was fair. Offered assistance in transportation from hotel. I was blessed to find such great service while traveling. Thank you. Highly recommend.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

This establishment was clean and comfortable! Mika who handled my car service was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly, I highly recommend this establishment! You won't go wrong, reasonable prices and great service! I know who will be taking care of my vehicle from now on, Williamsburg Auto is the place to go.

These men saved us during our trip home. A part to my radiator cracked while out of town. Eventhough they could not get the part, they fixed us up to make it safely home. This crew is very honest and tried to do everything they could for us 1 hour before the closed, and on a friday! They went above and beyond for our family. Just when you thought customer service was nevermore, these fine men restored our faith. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I was referred to Williamsburg Automotive by Valvoline in Toano. I needed my daughters brakes to be checked as she was in town from college and I was worried there may be an issue. Mike the owner was so very pleasant and professional, he even rotated the tires. I was thankful for his prompt service and attention to detail. I would recommend this auto shop to others and I will continue to utilize his service for all our Automotive needs in the future!Service: Brakes

The gentleman are friendly and knowledgeable. Their place is clean. They apologized for taking a little bit longer on my car. It was not a problem because the were trying to accommodate as many guests as they could. 2 thumbs up!

Lifesaver while on vacation! Car issue that had to be addressed, arrived when they opened and our car was being looked at within 15 minutes. We were walked through various situations from a quick fix (ie: here's a great breakfast place), we can help arrange a ride back to your hotel, or the possibility of renting a car. Fortunately, we only needed steering fluid and were on our way back to the hotel within an hour. Watching the interaction between the "regulars" and team there demonstrated their top notch personal service. We could not have happened upon a more caring environment in a stressful situation!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honest. Took my car in for work and after diagnosing it, they said I should take it to the dealer because the problem is probably still under warranty. Could have easily taken my money and made the repair themselves. Also, very quick to diagnose and call. Squeezed me in without an appointment. After all that, no charge for the diagnosis. Will definitely come back for future repairs.

Great experience here!!! My family was on vacation from SC and had trouble with the engine overheating. Micah took care of us right away, and even took me back to Busch Gardens after drop-off so I wouldn't miss out on family time!!! He figured out a recurring problem that other shops in SC had not been able to diagnose! No one around had the needed part, but he showed us how to deal with the issue safely (to keep the engine from overheating) until we can get a new part. We got all the way back to SC with NO PROBLEMS! This shop and Micah were a Godsend to us, for sure! You should take your car here whether you live in Williamsburg or you are vacationing in the area!

My engine was misfiring. They diagnosed the issue and didn t overcharge for the repairs. Excellent customer service and very friendly. The guys who work here are honest and I trust that they try to get me the lowest price for repairs as they can. Separate from pricing, They are alot faster then most other repair shops. Micah was the man working the front desk. He was friendly, helpful and professional. I would recommend this shop to others.
