Thankful to have my window replaced after it was shattered.However, customer service was a bit rocky in the beginning. Apparently when I called the store number listed online, to confirm arrangements with my car drop off, etc, I was actually speaking with Corporate.I was told this by a store attendant, who later called me frantically having no idea why my car was being dropped off & that they would not have room to hold it.I feel like communication between Corporate & this store may be an issue.I would definitely keep notes on who you speak with, what office they are working at, and what the details discussed are to mitigate any confusion for you, the customer, down the line.Otherwise, service was completed & I was satisfied with the result.

When Safelite replaced my windshield they ripped the molds that attach the corners. It looks like the glue used was pulled apart when the windshield was replaced but then new molds were not installed. We received the vehicle with both of them in a degraded condition and now one of them has come completely off. It may not be in their "job" to replace them, but it's also not part of their job to destroy other parts of my vehicle when they replace the windshield.

Customer service is great, but did you realize they don't actually "fix" your rock indentation? That and they literally told me upfront that there was a 40% they'd shatter my windshield and I'd be on my own financially to rectify their mistake.Id prefer just to buy a whole new windshield than take that risk. I literally almost cancelled my service when the rep told me.After I paid almost $200, the chip is still VERY visible.

Customer service was not great. lady at front desk did not verify my information when i dropped off. they quoted me a 3 hour time frame we are going on the 5th hour for just a windshield and recalibration. when i arrived at their closing hour, as i still had not received a call about picking up, my car was in the parking lot & My car was left unlocked. Multiple people in the lobby after business hours waiting on their cars that have been here 6+ hours. Time management, customer service all 0 stars. Front desk attendant even took a personal call talking about shoes when lobby was full of guests waiting to pick up their cars. -100/100. never coming here again.

Rion and Nico worked on my equinox today, they both were super friendly and sweet, very patient with me moving my car for them and did excellent work on my vehicle!!! I am absolutely happy and satisfied with my first experience and would highly recommend them! I hope they get the recognition they deserve, super sweet people!!!

1st visit - they had the wrong windshield. Oh well. Is what it is. Reschedule.2nd visit - scheduled at 10 am. Got here early. It was 2 hours before it was pulled into a bay just to be told they had the wrong windshield.3rd visit - just kidding! I'm going to Glass America! They scheduled me for the very next day and had the windshield in stock.

Absolutely wonderful service at this location! I was very impressed with their professionalism, and details in their service. Great job with the installation and recalibration for my 2022 Lincoln Corsair. Professionally done! I highly recommend them!

This company is horrible, they made me wait from 8am to 1pm, no one showed up. I call the office they weren t helpful so I called the corporate office they tried reaching the local office and the store in Williamsburg wouldn t answer the phone, They also tried calling the Hampton Va office, I was told someone will come in an hour, still no one showed up. THE REVIEWS ARE FAKE, AGAIN DO NOT BE FOOLED, THE COMPANY IS TERRIBLE

My technician Jason was amazing and was very fast and friendly had my windshield replace in an hour and was very friendly and kind and did not mind answering any questions or explaining the process, I would definitely recommend to my family and friends and if I ever need any assistance with my car glass again I will definitely be returning

Avoid this place at all cost! If I could give it zero stars I would. Seriously go anywhere else. All the way from horrible customer service to glass that showed a defect less than 2 months after install and they advised me it was an impact point. There is no local number to call and ask for assistance, 800 has less than stellar communication and in store manager and front office are completely unhelpful. They say they have a lifetime warranty against defect but will do anything to not be accountable!

Installed a replacement windshield for our 2020 Subaru Forester. The process was extremely smooth. The online portal made it easy to schedule an appointment and communication was great via the automated emails. Dropped the vehicle off in the morning before store hours, got a phone call saying it was ready, and picked it up later in the day. The technician even managed to put the old stickers and EZ pass on the new windshield which I was not expecting. Thanks so much!

I tried calling the phone number, but couldn t actually reach a human being. Everything I tried kept referring me to the website. I was trying to let y all know about a technician on Eltham Road in West Point who just passed a stopped school bus with its lights flashing. Someone is going to get hurt!

Piss poor service, they did neither repair or replace. After making my appointment with my auto information and driving 45minutes due to windshield calibration, they did not have the part. Danny's Glass of Gloucester has come to the rescue.

I was told booking out a month, then drop car off for a 2 hour wait, then last minute they canceled on me, said my part came in broken? My part was my windshield.They rescheduled me for another week, then told me a three hour wait..get there, go across street to eat n blow time since I'd be waiting so long..text me within 34 minutes and said my car was done!Now I was wondering did they mess up..lol Long ordeal but so far so good. All except my transponder that fell off now several times.Suggestion..get with VDOT and have that tape in hand so when yall switch out windshields you can put the stuff back right for the customer. Thanks for the windshield, hoping it stays well.

Some improvements to be made with Safelite. I had an appointment setup with Safelite to fix this broken piece of my sunroof. The part to fix it was on backorder for almost 2 months. I called during that time to ask for updates on how we were doing at securing the part. Every time I called the answer was "we're not sure yet" To be clear, this isn't the fault of the people that work at this location but more likely some corporate sourcing issue for parts. But not having an update on when a part will be in stock for almost 2 months isn't good. I was able to find another shop that was able to get the part in 1-2 days. Avoid Safelite if you can if you need to get special glass ordered for your vehicle.

They handled windshield replacement from beging to end. Notified insurance company to setting up time to replace it. Showed at 11 am left at 11:45. Great service. Never had it so hassle free and as promised.

If I could give zero stars I would, they have scheduled me twice now and neither time had my actual windshield. The first time atleast they let me know before driving an hour to them but this time we drove my car there, left it overnight as we were the first appointment at 8am and didn t want to make the drive in the morningjust for them to call me the next day and say yet again we don t have your windshield I could go on and on about how poorly this situation was handled not once but twice. Save your time and go somewhere else

First tech was great, but rear window defroster didn't work. Second tech didn't fix the problem, left sealant debris on the rear of the interior, and didn't install the window trim properly. Now they keep postponing my appointment, going on a month now since I originally sought to resolve the defroster issue. Should have used a decent company.

We had a small 0.25" ding in our front windshield and called our insurance company to find out about their free window crack repair offer. That program is run through Safelite, and we scheduled an appointment with them for the repair. While performing the repair, they ended up just expanding the crack to about 8" long and told us that we needed to replace the entire window, and that we would owe them nearly $500 for the replacement. It did not seem possible we could be billed for their mistake, but supposedly we were informed of this policy (we were not) and it was printed in the brochure we were supposedly given as well (we were not given one).It seems pretty clear why they would now offer this "free" repair service. That free repair now will cost us $500 (though we will not be using Safelite to make the repairs, I assume many people still go ahead and use them to fix the windows Safelite themselves damaged). We cannot get as much as an apology from the company. They simply say "you were informed of the risks," even though they were not. It's is also peculiar that they would not require you to sign a waiver so they can prove you were informed of the risks. Nothing on their website either.Very much feels like we got scammed.

Scheduled for warranty work (with email confirmation) and no one showed. Missed calls on my phone that resulted in no response, went to Safelite answering service. Found out that my telephone was not associated with a work order that the office told their regional manager, it was not their work to correct. So why schedule me and waste my day at home? On a previous job, I waited a whole hour before I was told that the glass received was damaged. I guess I didn't learn my lesson the first time I me.

Feel like in the long run I should have gotten them to replace my windshield instead of fixing the 2 smaller cracks. One completely disappeared the other is still visible from the inside of the car only. But overall as pleased as I've been on the other occasions I've used their services.

Have been trying to get the glass replaced on my 2022 Bronco Sport for a little over a month. Have had 4 appointments. All of which they've come out with the wrong glass how they don't realize they have the wrong glass until the tech comes to install it is beyond me. The most recent one they attempted to install an aftermarket glass rather than the OEM glass that comes on the SUV. They've offered to pay for half my deductible which really at this point doesn't seem like adequate compensation for the work missed while waiting on the tech.

Satellite, PLEASE do something to improve your automated electronic butler when prospective clients call in to ask a simple question. 'She' gives four options that don't apply, continuing with asking for a representative yields more frustration with 'her' asking the same inapplicable questions over and over.There is seemingly no way past this roadblock. I have no idea how good you are as a business because I wasn't given the opportunity to use you, but your automated voice is a horrible first impression. I know you can do better and hope you do. I wish you all the best and offer this review only in the event it may prove to be helpful to you.UPDATE: I received a very nice and immediate response from Safelite asking me to please contact them with the website address given. I did so and after chatting with a delightful Elizabeth was given the answer I needed. Perfect, and I'm grateful for them reaching out to me to resolve. Thank you.

Local Honda Service Departments do not perform work involving glass. Honda Service Departments are willing to provide estimates for such work that they do not perform, for example, for insurance purposes. Our 2019 Honda Odyssey developed a crack in the driver-side sliding door window. Our insurance uses Safelite as their primary glass repair shop. The folks at Safelite in Williamsburg are friendly, professional and perform the work on the schedule they tell you prior to the repair. In addition, text messages are sent to let you know when the actual work begins and when the work completes. Any owner costs such as insurance deductibles are collected after the work is performed. The receipt shows the work performed by Safelite to be significantly cheaper than Honda estimates.I waited for the work to be completed. The waiting room provided coffee, refrigerated bottled water and chips as well as a very clean restroom. These amenities were very much appreciated.Testing of the sliding door window after work completion showed the window to raise and lower quietly and reliably.

Everyone I talked to was incredibly helpful, professional and kind! They were able to fit me in their schedule to replace my windshield on short notice and came to my house for the installation. I drove from Richmond to get my windshield replaced, due to the poor service that I received in Richmond I was ready for the same. Well to my pleasant surprise, the team at this location was awesome. Check in was simple. Half way through they came and showed me what they are fixing and explained it ll be only a few more min. Whole process took maybe 25 min to fix a few rock chips in the window. I hope I don t ever need come back for other repairs, but if I need another repair this is where I ll come.

Up until recently I used Safelite for my fleet of 25 vehicles and my personal vehicles. This is the 3rd time they have left me in a bind and I will never use them again. I scheduled service almost 3 weeks in advance. They called the day of to tell me the windshield did not arrive in time and they had to reschedule. The next thing I know I get a cancellation notice and my money back. I then had to find another place to get the windshield prior to getting my inspection before Christmas.

I had an 1pm-6pm appointment, took off work only to get a text around 5pm saying they had to reschedule because they didn t finished their other job in time. I was not happy
