Oil cap not replaced after a simple oil change resulting in oil spill all over the engine. Car smoking and almost on fire. Called the store and Austin the manager told me to drive it back in and they would clean it up . Otherwise, there was nothing they could do, and I could call corporate the next day. Will not be going back. Do not recommend. Would give zero stars if I could.

Asked for an oil change. Nothing else.Was told an hour for and it took almost two.$114. Was not informed of options or related costs. Please do a better job to inform folks ahead of time what the cost will be for basic service. This is why I prefer to change my own oil. I also should have asked prior to service but this responsibility primarily falls on the shop to communicate IMHO.Gentleman was polite and offered a $15 discount.

I brought car in for repair to nail pucture. Was told 45 minute fix. 1.5 ours later, car ready. Tire re-installed backwards (inside of tire facing out). Another hour for correct installation. Facility uses untrained person as "Tech." Observed tech spending as much time on his phone texting as he did performing repair. Complete inattention to detail and leaves me wondering how well the actual repair to the tire was performed. Would certainly avoid this shop.

Avis Rental Car at the Richmond Airport put me in a car with balled tires! When I got a severe flat I was fortunate Goodyear was close. I spent hours at Goodyear fighting with Avis for a resolution. My rental car was AWD and all 4 tires had to be replaced. Avis was unprepared to help. It was 5:30PM and a tow truck was coming in 90 minutes! And my phone was almost dead! I was far away from anyone I knew. Sales advisor David Pennant was so kind to help and educate. He lent me a charger, he explained all tires were less than 4/32, that the tread bar was showing, the tires had been patched multiple times, and why all the tires had to be replaced on an AWD. He even made the first call to Avis and told me about an Avis down the street (they didn t have any cars). There is also an employee in service that stayed late to help. I appreciate their kindness when I was stranded and without a solution. Thank you Goodyear Monticello!!

One of my tires started losing air rapidly last night. I pulled into the Goodyear tire center in Williamsburg (James City County) at 6:45 PM, just 15 minutes prior to closing. They found a 4-inch Allen wrench that had punctured my tire. They quickly swapped out my spare tire to get me back on the road, then repaired the tire first thing this morning and reinstalled it all for a very reasonable price. They saved me a boatload of trouble! Thanks, Goodyear!

While visiting Williamsburg, with plans to drive home that night, my tire picked up a sizable shard of metal that caused audible escaping of air at 4:15 p.m. on a Sunday. We were fortunate to call Goodyear, where Austin got me in before they closed at 5:00. He patched the tire quickly and for a very fair price. It was an absolutely great experience and I recommend them to anyone wanting fast, friendly, honest and professional service. Thank you to Austin and the staff at the Monticello Avenue Goodyear!

Poor transition from online purchase to installation. Grief from the counter dude instead of a warm welcome.And then the tires look like they need cleaning. Wow

I have previously left a glowing review but this last time I waited 5 hours to get my oil changed, to discover later that they never put oil in my car. My oil light came on within a week and another car place said it was bone dry (no leaks). What were they doing for so long that they didn t do the one thing asked?

Austin was great! Store didn't have comfort tires I wanted. Tech in garage was mad I couldn't decide if I should buy all weather instead or come back. Spent too long there 230p to 6pm. Dave never called me while I was doing errands to tell me nail in side wall.

Went to Goodyear on 1/8 at around 1:30pm. Had a bad leak in my Goodyear wrangler tire . Ask them if I could get a patch or plug. Gentlemen at the counter said they wouldn t have time (they close at 5) I said ok could I at-least get air in my tire to make it to the next tire shop. I pulled around to get air and both technicians were just sitting on stools with nothing to do. Very frustrating but made it to a parking lot and put a spare on and went to discount tire the next day. Had it done in less than an hour and didn t charge me. Discount has my business for now on. A simple fix Lead to losing business is unacceptable.

I got an oil change on Sunday, October 30th and was warmly welcomed by Ryan at the front desk. Their customer service made the experience exceptional. I have been to this location multiple times, and the staff is always friendly, patient, and prompt. Thank you for being open on a Sunday!!

I contacted the store late on a Wednesday afternoon to ask if it might possible to repair a leaking tire - my window to have the tire fixed was quite short, unfortunately. The person who took the call encouraged me to bring the tire in. They greeted me with a smile, got the paperwork done quickly, and had the tire patched and ready to go in about 15 minutes. I am very appreciative of their fast and professional service!

My family and I have been coming to this Goodyear location for a long time, and they re always great. However, this time in particular their expertise solved an issue that went undiscovered by 3 prior auto-body shops across multiple states. I appreciate that they discuss the issue & possible options without first jumping to expensive replacements. I know whenever I leave my vehicle with them, it s in good hands. Wait times can sometimes be on the longer side, but that s because they re so reliable everyone brings their cars here! It s worth the wait. Thanks guys

A week ago I took mom's car into Goodyear with a very flat tire after leaving Trader Joe's only a 1/4 mile away. We have had many flats recently. I was not expecting to have the car looked at right away as it was very busy. Mom was all stressed out, but calmer heads prevailed. We took a Lyft home and within an hour or so they called to give us the expected news. Tire not repairable and the tire on the opposite side was dry rotted. I opted to get 4 new tires. We got the car back that very same afternoon! Amazing. Not only was the service impeccable and fast the guys who helped us were simply the most wonderful and nice people you could ever hope for. Thank you very much Goodyear!

Prompt and courteous service. I had a situation with a very flat tire, and they got me in immediately Left my car and two hours later was called and it was done. They explained everything very well. I will be back if I need service for my tires.

Amazing service! The location is great, very spacious and clean. The front desk is very friendly and kind. The mechanics are very knowledgeable. I was so lucky that they were open on a Sunday, they easily fixed my tire and helped me get back on the road! Highly recommend coming here over any other shops. I will be doing all my car maintenance here from now on.

We had a last minute emergency with one of our tires that needed to be taken care of before the end of the night. Phillip was more than helpful, gave us an awesome guarantee that he'd be able to get it done, and they did. If you are looking for some help, or want to do affordable business with a well maintained, courteous, and friendly staff, definitely visit this branch. We can't thank them enough.

We were visiting from NY, and ended up with a nail in our tire. It was about 20 mins before closing time and we were afraid that we would have to wait until the morning. Thankfully, even as late as it was, they took in our car, fixed the flat, checked the pressure for all of the tires, and we had delightful conversation on top of it!!! We even learned why tires get flats in the rain - mystery explained!First-rate, Top -notch service, a new thing learned for the day, and a welcoming attitude!!!!Thank you so much Goodyear Auto Service in Williamsburg, VA.

Outstanding service in every respect! We were back in Williamsburg for W&M graduation, and our car tire picked up a nail and developed a slow leak. We searched and found this Goodyear facility, called at 3:45 pm, and they were able to fit us in immediately before they closed at 5:00 pm.Upon our arrival, every person we spoke here with was polite, energetic, and very helpful. When we pulled up, one worker - wearing mask and gloves - politely put a temporary steering wheel cover, seat cover, and floor cover in place. The manager was gracious, engaging, and fast. The facility was spotless, with pleasant waiting areas and a window into the service area (at least 10 bays) so we could watch the work being done. The leak was confirmed, the hole was plugged, and the car was ready to go in less than 45 minutes.And then, when I tried to pay, the manager told me "we don't charge for plugging a tire like this. This is just one of the ways we try to serve our community."This is some of the best service we have ever experienced. Whenever we are in Williamsburg and our car needs service, this will be my first, and I expect my only, place to call. Outstanding! Thank you.

Yesterday was a Monday for sure. I had more bad then good moments. Anyways. Picked up my Daughters from school along with a MUD FLAP SCREW from a Tractor Trailer or Large Truck. I pull in to Goodyear with this issue. The Older African American greets me ,finds out my situation & they were busy with two tire installations near closing time. After the Richmond Road Location was closing to soon to help. He asked a young man to stay late to help me out & he did. There was no charge for the repair. I tipped the young man the money I would have had to spend at most places to patch the tire. He was shocked . I did it because good service can be found most places but to get Great Service in these times is rare. I am in Hospitality as a Chef so I know.Thank you for having some great team members I met two of them yesterday.

Angi and Austin really helped me. My tires were damaged on the interstate and they went above and beyond for me. They told me I would have to wait until the next day but they went and got my tires and put them on the same day. They had back on the road in a few hours. I am so extremely pleased with good year and there staff. I would recommend them to anyone. If you want exceptional service go over and get your next set of tires or services done with them. They have definitely earned a lift time customer.

Our family had to make an unplanned trip due to a sudden death and as we are packing I see a screw in my tire. This Goodyear center was at the max with other customers near closing time but they went above and beyond to fit us in, remove the screw, patched it and gotus on the road. The whole team was so professional and customer oriented, the waiting area was super sanitized and kept me advised until done.

Tire pressure light came on. I went in totally prepared to have to purchase a new tire, my tires were fine. They adjusted my air pressure and reset my light and i was done. In fact, I wasn't charged for the service. Extremely courteous staff, thorough explanation of vehicle diagnosis and suggestions. Clean environment. Will definitely return for future services.

Went to the Monticello location with a nail in one of my tires. The manager indicated it could not be fixed and that I need four new tires. I asked if he could replace that tire and he told me that my dealership would not allow it. I know that is not recommended but I just wanted to get it fixed until I could get all of them replaced. I realize I will need tires soon but it just passed inspection. I feel he was not honest, high pressure, & insulted my intelligence. Beware of their diagnosis! I will not be going back for any reason. I went to the Shell station on Jamestown road and they were happy to fix the tire. They were honest, knowledgeable and professional nor did they try to sell me a bunch of things I don t need. I will be doing future business with them for much of my car service.

Saturday July 3rd I found a nail in my tire..went online and the earliest appointment I could get was July 5th @ 9:00a because of the holiday.. Stupid me , I made the appointment for the Richmond Road Store and I showed up at the Monticello Ave store.. Phillip said he would work me in if I had a couple of hours.. hour and a half later my vehicle was ready.. they went over and above to get a realistically a walk-in without an appointment out. Great job Goodyear...

I m very pleased with my with my Goodyear experience! I was dealing with a tire blowout late in the evening and after calling multiple tire places this location was the only one willing to take me in. The manager was professional, courteous, and happy to help. They knocked it out and got me on the road quick! Thank you for the great experience, I ll be back next time I need new tires!
