For years I've turned to AAP (specifically Centerville Rd, although they're all great) for automotive challenges. They always take care of, not only myself but my Mom also. Battery died today and not only did warranty cover but we received a discount on another part we needed. The people that work here are always kind, considerate, helpful and educating. I always learn something. That's those there now and in the past years. It means a lot when someone truly has an energy of caring and they all do. Thank you and good fortune to you all!

11/18/2023 a nice young man named Andrew installed a new battery for me in no time. He was very nice and competent. Two other auto parts stores had refused to install a battery for me. Andrew was most willing, and did so in no time. He s a fine young man, and I am most grateful.

Came here this evening to get a headlight bulb. Dave was super helpful with making sure I had the correct bulb for my car and also went the extra mile to install them for me very thankful. In today s world it is rare that people will go out their way to help you. I highly recommended Dave! Thanks again

Jeff was really kind and helped me by checking out the car my husband and I newly purchased. My car wasn't reading what was wrong but he took the time to check the oils, engine, amongst other things. I will definitely return.

On 8/14 the battery on my 2008 Mustang died. I knew if I brought it in to the repair shop it would probably take a long time.I called Advance Auto, they confirmed they had the battery in stock ... took about 10 minutes to change it out AND (except for the cost ofcthe batter) no charge for the service. Thank you SO MUCH.

Missed the Parts Guys name. For him I give 5 stars. Went to get a marine battery. Price on it is good. Was told it only has a 1 year warranty. I can live with that EXCEPT the date on the battery is 10/22 6 months old already. Cash register receipt is only one you get. Got the battery home and I had to put it on a charger. It was dead.I appreciate your response in a timely manner. My main concern that you didn't address. A dead 6 month old battery with a 1 year warranty . Yes I would shop this store again. I would be more cautious as to my purchase.

After 2 days of no house a/c, waking up to a dead battery was no fun. Cody was extremely helpful, courteous and quick. Got me back on the road in no time.

Had my car battery die while I was out and about town. Tried to jump start it and nothing. My wife went to get a new battery so I could install into the car, and Jeff was a huge help for her. Made sure she got the right battery and that we had all the tools we needed to take the old battery out and install the new one. When I brought the old battery to return, Jeff offered to take the time to check the starter and the alternator to ensure that everything was functioning properly.This store always has great customer service and goes above and beyond when we go in. Thanks so much for the help!

Great service today!!! We were traveling out of town and our battery died. Able to get a jump start and went to closest Advance. Really great service from Darin who tested the old battery, installed the new, and made sure alternator was not the problem. Back on the road with our new DieHard! Thanks Advance!

Verrrr nice experience. Appreciated the sales guys opinion on the headlights I purchased and the recommendation for the coverage since the last time I bought them they didn't seem to last a year. Yes I installed them right and didn't touch the bulb. Also glad to be offered a rebate! Again.

Mr. Grant took good care of me and my truck needs at Williamsburg VA store. He advised me and installed a not so easy install battery in my 2017 Chevy Silverado. I could not believe someone would treat my vehicle like they would their own, with such care and thoroughness! Turns out he was the store manager. When was the last time you seen a store manager do anything but supervise? He takes good care of Veterans who have served our great country as well! I highly recommend this store because of him! His employees respect him, because I don't think he would ask any of them to do anything he wasn't willing to do! Thank you so MUCH Mr. Grant. I wish all managers had your work ethic!!

2017-07-20 called, lady answered, I asked her about what I needed and where they were located, she answered and helped me over the phone, and when I arrived, the same lady helped me with what I needed

Very nice and helpful employee help change the wiper blades and read the error code. It made getting our truck fixed cheaper. Rather than taking it to the shop and having them fix it. Part was reasonably priced as well.

Needed a battery for my 2016 Tacoma.These guys were awesome. Literally, it was less than 10 minutes - installed! No resetting my audio codes, no BS.Definitely recommend them

Stopped into the Centerville Road Advance Auto today, for just a can of paint. But in speaking with one of the staff, Ernesto, he described what all was involved in running a check on my battery, alternator and starter - making it sound so simple - that he unhesitatingly, offered to go out to my car and do it right then and there! Fortunately, all systems were fine, but we were most impressed by Ernesto's "can do" attitude and general pleasant attention. We certainly could not have been more pleased and know employees such as Ernesto are a true asset to a business. Thanks for your help.

The manager is the reason I shop for my parts at this Advance. He has solid people skills and is knowledgeable. I do my own vehicles as much as time allows. Good place for your Automotive needs. Well ran location.

I m actually pretty surprised with the customer service at this particular location. I don t recall having such bad experience but this one is just freakin consistent!!! Rude service! Rick (I got his name) wanted me to wait 15 minutes or so to get my wiper blades installed because he s the only one at the store and I have to wait for his delivery person. Are you really serious!? Give me a break. Never coming back here ever.

Great auto store! I had just purchased new windshield wipers, but was having trouble installing them. So I went into the store to ask for help and the store manager came out and put the wipers on for me

So we came to advance auto for an air conditioning relay and the employee Jeff went above and beyond to help and educate me about the part I thought I needed...I think he is very honest and patient ...he also gave me 10% discount for the item below because my car desperately need AC .THANK YOU JEFF it meant a lot to me what you did.

I was in Williamsburg on vacation and stopped in because my son's car needed oil and had the "Check Engine Light" come on. Since we were traveling back to Raleigh, NC later that day, I wanted to be sure there was nothing major wrong with the vehicle. I paid for the oil and was told by Sean that it would be a few minutes as there were about 3 other customers in the store. I waited and during this wait, more people had come in as well as a delivery truck it sounded like in the back. The issue I saw was that Sean was taking phone calls and putting the calling customers ahead of the people standing in front of him. Then, another employee came up and began helping customers.As some of the customers were cleared, the second employee began looking for the code scanner and I assumed he was going to be coming to help me. More customers came into the store and I was told it would be a few more minutes before he could help me. By this time, I had been there about 45 minutes. I then told this employee that I was a customer too and did not understand why he could not come and take care of me as a customer, who had already given them my money. He told me that the checking of the code was a courtesy service and I would have to wait. I then told him that I would go somewhere else and he would not need to worry about helping me.I think this store exhibited the worst customer service I have seen in any Advance Auto store I have been in. First of all, I realize that calling customers are important, but when you have people standing in front of you that have been waiting, putting someone who calls in ahead of everyone in the store, is wrong. Second, if I had just come in off the street, without purchasing anything, and asked them to check the code, I could understand being made to wait. However, I was a paying customer and feel my transaction was not complete until they had finished helping me. It would have taken less than 2 minutes to check the engine code for me and in fact, when I went to AutoZone instead, that is exactly how long it took.Advance Auto has lost my business and with any luck will lose anyone else's I talk to. I feel the Richmond Rd., Williamsburg , VA store needs some serious retraining in customer service!
