After a car accident on Christmas Day, I left my vehicle in the care of Mac's Auto World until other arrangements could be made for transportation. I was able to call Mac's Auto World within the next business day. The phone call I had with the owner was highly unprofessional, hostile, and insulting all in one. The owner refused to consider the timing of the incident and my location out of town before calling me manner-less multiple times with an extremely condescending tone of voice. He held an irate tone with me for the duration of the phone call. I was able to transport my vehicle off the property within the same business day of the phone call. I hope no one ever has to do business this way. I would strongly advise against using this establishment for any automobile needs. There are plenty of other auto services in the area with twice the customer service capability and the wits not to insult their customers.

Paid $179 to have car prepared for trip to Michigan in heavy snow, only to slide all over snowy roads. Got there and discovered all four tires completely bald. Had to scramble between Christmas and New Year to have new tires installed. Mac blamed another mechanic he said occasionally helped out, but we specifically asked Mac to do the work as he maintained all six of our vehicles. Totally unprofessional and lacking personal responsibility. Agree with poster above, he is crude and rude. Kilmarnock Auto Clinic is far better technically and professionally. Don't waste your time or money, and especially your safety.

I called to inquire about vehicle inspections and I must say it was the most unprofessional and most rude conversation I have ever had. He suggested that I call "up town" to see if someone else could do it. He also stated that he was busy with a customer and that he would call me back.The problem is, he never took my name or contact number to return the call!! NEVER will I patronize a business where it's ok to treat people rudely. NO stars given if it were up to me.

Mac has not been able to hire help so he is very busy and it is hard to get an appointment. Prior to recently he was our choice for higher priced vehicles.

Terrible customer service if you aren't a friend of the owner you will be treated like garbage they better be thankful there is no other machine shop local to Lancaster or they would have to close the doors go to the machine shop in warsaw people they are friendly and cheaper wish i could rate zero stars look at the reviews people the short one praising mac are his friends the people who been wronged leave a real review
