Made an appointment over the phone for three weeks ago. The email appointment verification was for a date three weeks later than agreed to over the phone. I told the service rep the driver side rear shock went bad. Since the appointment was changed the factory warranty expired. Waited two hours and was told they would have to order the shock and it would two more weeks and another appointment. This is a recurring theme at this place of business. Every appointment I have had here has been a disaster. I bought the vehicle here in 2019, had a problem with two interior cabin lights that stayed lit all the time. Brought it here under warranty, they only changed one light, then required another appointment to change the other light. I conveyed that the sensor that allows for the tailgate to be opened by waving your foot under was defective and was told my model doesn t have that feature. The feature was demonstrated by the sales staff on my same vehicle when purchased and works even now intermittently. Took the vehicle for the initial free oil change on appointment. Waited three hours, drove home and all electronics were inoperable. It is no wonder patrons have to wait weeks for appointments when you make an appointment only to be told you need to make another appointment. Unfortunately I have to tow a boat 800 miles next week, so I have ordered the shock from Advance and will have Williamsburg Ford install it. I love my Expedition, but the several experiences I have had at West Point Ford service preclude me from purchasing another Ford product in the future. Their customer service is the worst I ve come across in over 40 years of driving. I won t let them feed my dog. Their attitude is despicable and without regard to the ill effects they have on customers busy lives. I am not one to rant or complain but deem it necessary for this place.

West Point Ford is a good dealership but what makes it great is Jan! She is the service person and if it wasn't for her, WELL??? The prices are probably in line with the other dealerships but it's a bit expensive. However, they do use FORD PARTS and stand behind all their work and that's a plus cuz you rarely have to go back for them to refix something! They hire good enough employees and seem to treat them well and they do it right the first time!!!JANET is the best at what she does and is really very good at diagnosing a problem and an approximate cost!!! She's the best!Go on down to West Point Ford for repairs and pick up a truck or two while you're there! Don't forget 1 for me! A 2022 or 2023 White, fully loaded Expedition would be great!!!
