My family and I have been using Idiehl as our go-to mechanics for years and have always had great experiences. They are honest, professional, friendly, and great mechanics who do excellent work at fair, straight-forward prices. I have recommended them to many people over the years who have had similar experiences.However, recently, Mike went above and beyond the call of duty to help me with an emergency tire repair when I was in a pinch. I had a rather rough experience.So I took my mothers SUV in with an angry flashing check engine light for a diagnostic. It took them two days to get back to me and they informed me it was bad spark plugs and ignition coils. The fee for this would be $450 (parts were $250). Knowing that this was about a 15-30 min job, I declined and was going to do the work myself.I asked him to please park the vehicle outside and lock the key in the car for me to get it over the weekend. I had to do this because I got the call on a Friday after they were already closed.I went to pick up the car on Saturday morning and drive it home to fix it. About a mile or two away from the shop the car started making a bad rattling noise and completely shut off - while I was traveling 55mph on a highway. As you know this turns of power brakes and steering.I was able to steer the car into a gas station where I immediately opened the hood and saw that it was smoking.I pushed it into a spot and realized I would have to fix it right here - in the pouring rain. So I had to go get the parts and tools (that I didn't need because I had them at home already) and fix the car.The reason it caught fire?They had not screwed the spark plugs back in - so they were flopping around in the engine, arcing, and caused a fire that melted a coil and made me have to get a long pair of plyers and pry the charred pieces out of the engine.What should have been a 30 min job turned into 4 hours.I confronted them on the next Monday once they opened and got a half hearted apology for a situation that could have ended in a bad wreck and a major lawsuit. I was reimbursed for my $52 diagnostic fee but no offer to reimburse me for my time, the tool money I didn't need to spend, or anything else. And I had to request the diagnostic fee be refunded.Considering I stood in the rain for 4 hours fixing their VERY SERIOUS mistake, I expected a better apology than this from the owner.I will not be returning here for any reason.

I had recently stopped by IDiehl Tire and Lube to inquire on replacement tires and other services for my 2019 Tundra. Upon arrival I was greeted by Lance who was/is a pleasure to deal with.Fast forward, I scheduled an appointment to upgrade suspension components, replace 4 tires and perform a front end alignment. The work was done in a timely manner and the work performed accompanied with the customer service exceeded my expectations! Highly recommend IDiehl Tire and Lube for whatever your auto needs! I am from Richmond Va and I limped into this place in my medium size rollback with a bad front tire about 2pm. This thing takes big truck tires. These guys were great very friendly found the tire I needed ran out an got it. Put it on the truck (no easy task) and had me back on the road in less than two hours. All for just under two hundred amazing. I had no other choice but to buy a tire at any price and these guys were honest friendly and fast. I would give them ten stars if I could. This was service above and beyond.I would also note they had a very nice waiting area and the cleanest restrooms i have ever seen.

Informative, eager to help, timley repair, and trustworthy.I called this shop when I was stranded with a flat tire in the Shenendoah. All the other tire shops in the area including discount tire didn't have any options for my car, they would have to order them to come another day. Not only did this shop have correct sizes for my vehicle, they also called back and mentioned another set of tires they could pick up from another location. They gave me options. I could tell they were genuinely eager to help me get back on the road. They took their time to explain the difference between different rated performance tires. I got my car towed there and the place was pretty busy, yet they were able to take my car in and get new tires on for me in a timley manner. And let me tell you, I'm so happy with the new tires. My old tires must have been shot for a while...I can clearly feel the difference. The new tires enstile confidence in my turning and breaking. The car also drives straight as an arrow. Before I thought maybe the suspension or steering was off, but after the new tires got put on and balanced by IDiehl Tire the car feels like new. I'm honestly use to tire companies and mechanics being not so eager to help, I often have to push them to get the job done or it ends up taking forever. I also sometimes feel like they are trying to scheme me in some way... Not at all here. Super transparent and very trustworthy people. I wish you guys were in my area. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area, and if I ever get stuck out in there agian, I know where to go. Real professionals. Oh yeah, and their waiting rooms, yes two big rooms, were very comfortable. Maybe after some 50k more miles I'll make the trip back for some new rubber!

Had IDiehl fix my truck with new ball joints and brakes. The truck had no return steering when I picked it up. Took it back the next day and was told by owner they would not test drive it. Was told to drive it. It would loosen up. It got a lot worse. Had a different shop look at the ball joints and they were not installed properly at all. Cost me $800 to get it fixed again properly. Also took a new van to get an alignment. It still pulled to the right so took it back and was told they needed a special tool to do it. Took it to another shop in Draft. No special tool needed. They did it.

Mike and Lance are knowledgeable and they won't try to quote you repairs that are not needed. Always honest and trustworthy that is why they receive my business. Lower prices than other places in the area is a added bonus as well!

Have been using Idiehl to service my Subaru since moving here from out of state. My daughter uses them and recommended them to me. They're friendly, professional, reasonably priced compared to the Subaru dealer's shops I've used in the past. I especially appreciate their explanations when I ask for more information. They've always done what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it. Highly recommend them.

I have had the experience to talk with both the owner Mike and his son Lance and both are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I look forward to getting my tires installed on Friday and definitely recommend to anyone.

Bought my Falken Wildpeak all terrain tires here for $200.00 Less than another competitor right down the road from them!!! They were nice and courteous and I will continue to give them my business!!

The Lord blessed me to meet these guys today. I m outta town with my family and I had a tire break a belt. Called them..I was in a bind and they were super nice and hooked me right up with a new tire while I waited. Very professional and I could tell they are in business to help people. Was charged what I would consider an exorbitant amount for relatively basic maintenance (spark plugs, tire rotation, oil change, "fixing" my AC)...AC STILL doesn't work, and my check engine light and TRAC OFF light are on and will not turn off... They were not like this when I took my car into the shop.I will be contacting them again for another attempt at fixing these issues, but given this was my first experience with them, I'm thoroughly disappointed at the moment.Services: Electrical, Tire rotations, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

I will never go to another place. This company is amazing. I called and spoke with Jim. My tire pressure light was on and one other light as well. He said just drop and I will check it out.I went by the next day. When I walked in they were busy but not swamped. The young man ask my problem, took my keys and took my car to the back to check it out. It was all done in less than 10 minutes, yes 10 minutes. Unreal how fast they are.Very friendly. Only keen on tire services. Do not go in for mechanical issues. They lack knowledge and experience to make desired and timely diagnosis. They overcharge for simple oil changes too. I lost two days due to overheating engine. They said coolant was full and couldn t see any problems. Took somewhere else. Two seconds they could show me a leak and broken fan this place is only good for tire services

I had a nail in one of my tires and one needed to be resealed. This was the fastest appointment I've ever had at any mechanic. It took 25 minutes from parking to driving home...and it only cost me $20! Very professional group and very well-organized. I highly recommend them!Service: TiresService: Tires

I bought a new, Cooper Discover, AT3, 265-70-R16, tire for my 2002, Dodge, Dakota, Quad Cab, 4x4.I had the tire mounted, balanced and installed in about an 1-hr., even though there were several customers ahead of me.Also, I got my new tire for the same price that I had paid for another one earlier this year.

Went there after shopping around for the best price to have timing belt and water pump replaced. My parents are long-time customers. They were the most economical place I found for service on my 2002 Jetta. But more importantly, the service they provided from start to finish was amazing. Lance and his staff there obviously take pride in the work they do and the service they provide. Clearly explained and thorough estimate for all work performed...which actually came out a little CHEAPER than originally quoted. Fast and professional work....my car is running and sounding great! Quick appt and excellent communication through all stages of the work. I was amazed by the overall experience. These are truly honest and friendly folk who know what the true value of doing good business means....they clearly value their customers and the opportunity to help them out. As a result, like so many others, I will definitely be going back next time I need work done on my car. And I give them my highest recommendations. Without a doubt, you are in great hands with Lance and his crew!

I have taken my car here multiple times and they are honest, good communicators who get the job done well and right!! It's great to have a shop near home that I trust to do what is needed - not more or less. The night drop off service is an added plus for individuals like myself who work full time. I pay over the phone and find my car fixed and locked up as requested for pickup in the evening. Thanks to the crew at Idiehl for the work you do - you have reason to be proud of your work and integrity. One wish... that you could do my inspections too!

All was good until I went to pay for one mounted trailer tire 205/75r14... $92. That was the most I've ever paid for a tire. I just bought 4 (60,000 mile) snow tires online for $200. It seems that this one trailer tire price was a bit accessive. I won't be buying tires here again.
