Gary was so helpful to me and my daughter when she was buying her first car. He made sure she found a safe ride, and he even took the time to explain things to her. He went the extra mile. Stop looking for mechanics, you ve found the one you need right here. My Promaster van broke down on the way to a wedding. Gary was able to squeeze me in at the end of his day and get be back on the road.Great dude, great mechanic, great price.Thank you Gary for being honest and going above and beyond to help me out!

If you re in the area, look no further for a mechanic. Gary at G Payne s is a life saver! My husband and I were in the area on vacation and hit a deer. The damage made our car un-drivable. Gary was able to get our car in, overnighted a part we needed, and had our car fixed within 24 hours. He was so friendly and even came in on his day off to work on our car. I would recommend him to anyone!!

We stopped here on route home to PA with a loose plastic cover on the undercarriage of our car. They were kind and fixed our minor problem right away and got us back on the road in no time. Would highly recommend!

Gary was awesome! He stayed in constant communication with me as he dealt with a warranty company repeatedly on the phone for nearly a week. When he straightened it all out, I happened to be out of town and the transmission had to be picked up in Harrisonburg. Gary returned the old transmission, picked up the new one and had it all fixed before I returned home! I should also mention he provided his services for a fraction of the price of the other shops I researched and he fixed my problem PERFECTLY although I had two other mechanics fail to do so. Not only that, Gary and his father were very personable at the shop when I picked up my vehicle and went out of their way to provide documentation for the warranty company I had to deal with. I'd rate them higher if I could! Thanks Gary!
