They were quick to arrive, very helpful and informative. Our car was totaled when my husband hit a dear at full speed. Drumhellers Towing made the process between pickup and working to ensure the insurance company had access to the vehicle so easy. We never had a worry.

I just got stranded in Charlottesville today, 42 miles from home. AAA sent this service to rescue me; a young man by the name of Chris was the driver who was sent over to rescue me and he just did everything right! He was so personable and kind, and thoughtful and professional, he was just awesome. He was a veteran and a dad but most of all he really made me feel comfortable and safe!!!! Not to be trusted. Called AAA and Drumhellers arrived. Went inside while they completed work. Came back outside and a car part had clearly been damaged while work was being performed. When I confronted person, he lied to my face and had the audacity to say, "I thought you did that." They refused to pay for new car part based on workers lie.

Thank you for helping my family and I when our vehicle broke down while on vacation (4+ hours from home.) We were referred to Drumheller s through AAA. Beau first helped us by trying to troubleshoot the issue we were having with our vehicle, and Travis towed it to a local auto repair shop. Both gentleman were so kind and went above and beyond. We are truly grateful!

Received battery service from Beau Saunders with Drumheller's through AAA and I wish I could give him 10 stars. He called ahead, was on time (even offered to bring me coffee!), diagnosed my battery issue within 3 seconds of looking at it, and replaced the battery quickly. Give him a raise! Nate was INCREDIBLY helpful as we navigated a flat tire. He was generous with his knowledge and took the time to problem solve with us. Dennis and Chris were so helpful when I got a flat tire on the interstate. Chris got in touch with me immediately, and Dennis came out to change the tire right away. He changed the tire in no-time, gave me a few places locally that could repair or replace it, and gave me great advice on how to safely drive on my donut spare. They're literal lifesavers! I'm so grateful for the help on a rough day - quick, helpful, honest, trustworthy service! Thank you both so much!Service: Tire change

The tow truck driver drove my car up on the rollback instead of hooking it up and letting the truck pull the car up and by driving it up the tail pipes scraped against the pavement. After picking my car up from the car shop I went to car wash and noticed all 4 tailpipes have handfulls of gravel in each of them. The car shop has a gravel lot so the tow truck driver drove my car (again) off the flatbed ramp! My car shouldn t have been driven whatsoever!! My car now shakes driving down the road making me think he hooked the chain or pulley to a wrong part of my car and my muffler is very loose!! I m waiting on AAA to get back to me about this but wanted to leave a review.

I have had a bike that the tire got out of adjustment and I just happened to pass there shop so I had asked if they could fix it they fixed it right away then another time I came by and on if they guys gave me a adjustable wrench to fix it my self

I can't say enough good things about Chris. He came to our rescue when I got a flat tire on a heavily traveled 29S and there was no shoulder. Cars zipping on by at 70+ miles an hour. He was kind and professional a true gentleman. AAA told me 90 minutes and he arrived in 20 minutes. Thank you Chris from the 2 little old folks in the blue Infiniti with the New Jersey tags. We finally made it back safely to Greensboro, NC.Service: Tire change

Terrible experience with this company. Aside from being fairly efficient at towing my SUV, they were very difficult to work with. The driver was very angry when I did speak to him and then my vehicle was towed to their lot instead of to the location we had planned on it being towed to. I was not informed of the change so anxiously waited up for hours for them to arrive; I did try to call many times with no answer. Finally in the morning I was able to get ahold of them to find out where my car was. They would not allow a locksmith in to fix it, so I had to pay them more to have them tow it off their property and when I retrieved my vehicle the rear bumper was damaged. I cannot prove that a car didn't go in to the almost empty, very isolated parking lot and hit it while I was not present, but with how unlikely that is and how angry and difficult the driver was, I am quite certain that it was the towing company. Very overpriced and when I contacted them about my issues with their company, they turned everything back on me in a degrading manner, very unprofessional.

From Joyce R Walker,Charlottesville, VA. I am a senior citizen and unfortunately had a tire failure in Ruckersville, VA today. I have been a member of AAA for many years and have never used it. Today I needed it and Ron came to my assistance with a smile and was very helpful. He answered all my questions thoroughly and changed my tire to get assistance at my auto place. Dispatcher who I was on the phone with was great, but the driver they sent, Frank, was extremely rude on the phone and had a hostile, unprofessional attitude throughout. Made the experience a whole lot more irritating than it had to be.

My wife and I have had wonderful service and interactions with Drumheller's since we moved to the Staunton-Waynesboro area. Their technicians have always been highly courteous, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful people who provide a great experience. And a big shout out to Darren! We've worked with him twice, and he's been fun to talk to, an absolute pleasure to work with, and did a great job diagnosing and fixing our car's problem! We can't suggest working with them enough.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only was Sharon super disrespectful to me , she also hung up on my 80 year grandma! I am sure there are other workers that could've been of more help. However I urge anyone reading to save yourself the misery and headache if bitter lady named Sharon picks up the phone!Best Wishes!

i ve used Drumhellers twice now through aaa and have had Beau work on my car twice replacing the battery. I cannot say enough kind things about him! His service is wonderful and efficient and he also educates his customers on the process so you feel informed. he even had a treat for my puppy in the truck! will recommend to anyone having car troubles in albermarle.Service: Battery service

Drumheller's Towing really helped me out during this recent cold snap, not only did they show up where my car stopped with a completely dead battery, but the nice technician had me back on the road within 10 to 15 minutes. The price was reasonable and service was second to none. Thank you, Drumheller's!!

They have helped me through AAA. They always arrive when they say they will; always able to resolve the problem. Both times the service has been excellent here on Pantops in Charlottesville, VA.

Our rental car got a flat tire 2.5 hours from home, and Charles saved the day! We called AAA who connected us with Drumheller's, and he arrived in half the anticipated time. My fiance and I got towed today by Jeff who was very kind and professional. He made the process easy and was very friendly during the drive back to our hometown. He made a bad day not as bad as it could have been and we were really grateful! He also got to us in a timely manner. If it was possible to give more stars, I would. Yesterday, I was running errands and my car wouldn't start. I was supposed to pick up my kids from camp in 1.5 hours. My husband was on a plane to Miami and my sister and good friend were out of town. I wasn't sure what was wrong or what to do and during COVID I was nervous about safety too. I called AAA and Nathan from Drumheller's Towing was at my location within 15 minutes. He jumped out of his truck and immediately put me at easy with his professional friendly manner. He quickly diagnosed my problem as a dead battery. He had the model of battery I needed on his truck. The replacement was quick and efficient. I was on the road to pick up my kids with time to spare. Nathan was outstanding and I am so thankful that he came to help. I was worried about so many things but he put me at ease and made me smile. Thank you!!!Services: Battery service, Battery

I had a bad tire blow-out on I-81 late on mothers day Sunday, not the best time for prompt service no doubt. Drumheller's answered on the second ring and had a truck out to me within 30 min (half AAA's estimated time). Amazing. The driver was an unbelievably nice guy and very helpful, knew exactly what to do with a Super Duty and had me towed to my desired spot quickly and effortlessly. Thanks for helping me in a pinch. Would recommend this service to anyone.
