This is honestly one of the Hidden gems of the shore. To most, this is just a series of docks by the Coast Guard barracks. To me, this is a picturesque location in an even quieter town. For quite a while there if I was going through some stuff and I just needed some time to think I would head down to the docks and just watch the local wildlife while taking in the peaceful atmosphere. If you are into nature photography, painting, or just looking for a quiet place to think: keep this location in mind.

Charters here offer a wide variety of options...inshore or deep sea fishing, a simple water cruise to see the rich bird life that are an attraction in itself or a drop-off and pickup service to one of the many barrier islands that dot the area. One island is a shell collector's paradise, another has sanddollars, and another has driftwood galore. Or just bring a cooler and a towel to rest on and enjoy this quiet, expansive natural gem of a place!

We met captain Rick at the dock and had a great time experiencing the barrier islands. He captivated the kids with explanations about the plants and animals.

Whale tied up overnight night of stock market break 509 of 1100 DoW 1987!Boarded by coast guard in am! On to Norfolk VA early heard of crash on 16/21/69 offshore! Flew home with Sean from norfolk! No tv or radio in hole surrounded by hills!!
