The service is incredible. We have been staying here for the last ten years for our annual hunting trip and every year is better and better! The rooms are spacious and clean. The house is homey, decorated well, and very comfortable. Anything we need the great people at the Wachapreague Inn come through. We ll be back next year as always!!

We loved everything about this cozy, quaint motel. Staff were warm and welcoming. Complimentary beverage upon check in, and there was a friendly cat to greet us, as well. It's not fancy, but it's super clean, and quite charming. Each unit has 2 patio chairs and a table in front, where you can relax and enjoy a drink or 2. (BYOB) The location is great, and there's and excellent restaurant directly across the street, as well as a sweet little general store, less than a 2 minute walk down the street.

My buddies and I have been coming here for a good number of years now to fish. We love this place. They have made improvements to the rooms which are nice and the staff is always great. You are not staying at the Ritz but I would stay here if I had a choice between the two!

We did not stay at the Inn, but close by. However, we went through the Inn office to book our trip with Day Trippers. We also shopped in the gift shop and asked them for information for local food and other services. We bought several cute locally made items including the crochet jelly fish and octopus that are pictured. These ladies were very helpful and friendly. Stanley (the kitty) was a plus too!

The Wachapreague Inn is a jewel. We were there for a family funeral and the staff was so friendly and accommodating of our changing schedule. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. Highly recommend! Also, the office cat, Stanley, was a great comfort to be around.Rooms: The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. They are equipped with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker

Friendly, courteous staff. Checkin and out was a breeze. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Only problem was poor cell phone reception, I had problems making calls but there is an emergency phone outside the lobby. And the Wi-Fi works well. Beautiful area in a quiet little town right on the water. I went for my family reunion so didn t get much chance to explore the area.

A little motel with personal charm. The staff and office cat are darling. Each room is outfitted with decor I can imagine a local homemaker choosing herself. They offer use of a fleet of bikes to guests to help you get around town and have a limited but adorable selection of local crafts for sale in their gift shop. Will stay again!

We have stayed here 3 times in the last year and I love this place! The ladies in the office/store are the friendliest ladies ever! I love this little town of Wachapreague. Not too busy and the folks who live here are very nice. It's not a new motel, but it has everything you need and the atmosphere here is relaxing. It's across the street from the marina so we have a place to leave our boat. They have bicycles for you to enjoy that are free to use for their customers and it is the best way to ride through this quaint and quiet little fishing village.

Always have the best time at this place, the people are so custom, oriented, and their personal attention is above and beyond.Rooms: Rims are nice, nothing fancy but perfectly comfortable and serviceable.Walkability: Wachapreague is a small town, so most everything is within walking distance. The restaurant is right behind the motel.Food & drinks: Complimentary beverage upon checkin!

The Inn was in a great location, by the water, located in a cute town. The staff were very nice and helpful as well. The unfortunate issue was dealing with flies in the room. (Not sure what type?). There was a fly swatter in the room, which should have given us a clue, Lol. Overall, I would recommend it and would most likely stay there again.

Beautiful place in a tiny town. Very quaint with nice people. Pet friendly and you can leave them crated. There's a large memorial park right across the road that's dog friendly and has lots of space for dogs to run. Has a dog poop station as well for picking up messes. You get a complimentary drink when you check in, and there's a small gift shop with cute local made art. There seemed to be a restaurant that was dog friendly across the street as well. Definitely worth it to pop in for a night or to go fishing.

The location is phenomenal. There is a village green across the road and it is a very walkable neighborhood/fishing village. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows cozy. The bathroom was clean, but circa 1962 and in need of some upgrades. There was a musty smell to the room, but dehumidifying was ongoing. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for a long well earned weekend break. It is an owner-run business, and they are very attentive to their guests. This isn't a five-star hotel but it is clean and comfortable and the staff treats you like you are a five-star guest. They are full of advice for shopping, eating, trips, the best fishing locations for the time of year, and chartering a boat. This is definitely the place to stay if you are looking for good tuna fishing. Before you think you are in the middle of nowhere without internet - they have WiFi so you can relax and watch Hulu on your iPad! We had a good time BBQ'ing and making friends with some of the other guests after a late afternoon kayak adventure - sorry if we woke up the neighborhood with our shanty sings! Definitely, the place to stay, great fun, and really easy access to the water. Thank you for helping us make some great memories Team Wachapreague Inn!

Was disappointed. We normally rent a house for the week. But a week before our arrival. They moved use to 3 hotel rooms. In one of the rooms the a.c. did not work correctly. The rooms was in the corner of the hotel. When we set outside we killed flies all week. The corner was where they gathered. At the house we normally get it has a screen in porch. We have been going there for 8 years. And this year was the worst

Awesome small towns with character. Live music, great food, ocean and Bay kayaking, fishing, swimming. Brewery in Cape Charles....the best!! The Island House in Wachapreague, not bad. Charter tours out to the barrier islands. Great fishing for flounder. Bike rides, porch life, fun!!

Stayed at the "Wachapreague Inn" for an overnight trip to the Eastern Shore. We had the option of staying in 1 of 21 motel rooms which were very clean, or one of the 5 rooms in the house right next door. We chose the house which provided a common area containing a livingroom and a full kitchen. Each room had a bathroom and was very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and very reasonable rates in and out of season. Right across from the hotel was a very nice restaurant "The Island House" which had very delicious seafood. Overall an excellent experience.

Nice little place. Clean rooms with great wifi and cable TV. Not a lot of HD channels, but they have every HD channel that Spectrum offers here. The wifi is a must because there's no cell signal in town. The staff is friendly and will help you out with anything you need. The owners and staff obviously take a lot of pride in making sure everything is perfect.

Took my wife on a birthday weekend to the Shore. This place was recommended by a friend and I recommend it to anyone! It's a great, clean, quaint, respectable, small town vibe...checked in and received drinks and snacks. Only one restaurant close by, but it is also very good. Free bikes to ride around town. Highly recommend!!

They have clean rooms, working air, and tv/cable. Staff was very friendly. They have coffee, small breakfast snacks, and local merchandise in the check in area. You can get a cold drink on arrival. WiFi was spotty, but it is like that all over the area.
