Highly recommend anyone to go here for any exhaust work via muffler deletes, tips, resonator deletes, and etc. Their welding is very amazing. You pay for quality work. They don't judge. Also this is one of the few shops in the area that allowed my car on the lift despite my car being lowered by a few inches. Will come here again to get my other muffler delete soon.

I needed a muffler fixed. The Customer service was outstanding, and the finished job was excellent. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes and the price was very reasonable. I been going to the same Big Al s store for over 12 years now with my wife and my two daughter's cars, but I was told by a friend to try these guys. I m so glad I did!!!

Amazing customer service! Non-judgmental and is very happy to work on any vehicle. Walked in and was greeted by a kind women. She got the car ready to work in a matter of seconds! The work itself was done professionally and carefully; they even let me see them working on the car. Very happy with that since I m getting more into cars. they did a great job i got muffler y pipe and mid muffler and got custom pipes from the mid muffler back and everyone was very nice and they got the work done in a reasonable time and a great experience

Great overall service. I came in with a catalytic converter issue that was fixed faster than expected, well done and for a far lesser price than the big name shop which wanted me to ok unnecessary and very expensive repairs. I would definitely use their services again!

The Muffler Shop is located along Holland Rd. in the Chimney Hill section of Virginia Beach. You can access the place just past the Rosemont Rd. intersection heading northbound. There are some other shops in that same area, and can enter from the other side of the building from the other direction. My most recent visit here was on July 13, 2021.Each of the visits here was for my mom's car. The first time we came here was in late winter to have the brakes checked out. After having it checked out, everything was good with the brakes and there was no charge.After several months, my mom decided it was time to come back and have the brakes replaced. After they looked at it, they did recommend to replace the front brakes, but the back brakes are in good shape and would just change the padding and such there. At that point, the service was authorized.Later that day, the car was ready and came by to pick it up. We came in to get the keys and to pay for the work that was done. Overall, it was around $400, which isn't too bad at all for everything that was done. The check out process and getting the key for the car was very easy.Overall, we have had excellent experiences here. I would not hesitate to come back here in the future. The staff are extremely friendly and they are honest. So many times when you go to have work done on the car, there always seems to be someone trying to upsell or find something else wrong. That was not the case here. This is a great locally owned business with honesty and integrity. Even though it is called The Muffler Shop, they do much more than mufflers. If you are in this part of the city and need some work done, you definitely need to check this place out.Service: Brakes

Terrible customer service . That old lady at the front desk is the worst. Rude for no reason. Trailer park trash for sure.A hit dog gonna holler I didn't want you to break any law liar. It must've hit home if I'm the only review you responded to

Amazing shop! They welded my true dual exhaust on. During the estimate, my brake pad slipped through caliper and lodged itself in the rotor and locked the wheel up. They replaced the inner brake pad for free and saved me from calling a tow truck! I returned the pad once I replaced everything. They did a perfect job on the exhaust. Very professional, punctual, fair priced. Definitely referring them to friends and family. This shop will do all of the work that I can t do myself. 10/10 outstanding job.Service: Exhaust

Cut and Dry straight to the point. Supplier of performance mufflers. Excellent welds, excellent service, I was in and out in less than an hour. Fair and competitive pricing, wayyy cheaper and FAR better service compared to Big Als. I have brought my last few vehicles here for exhaust work, and havent been let down.I called the day before in the afternoon looking for a Magnaflow Muffler for my car, it had to be ordered in. However they were able to get me a Flowmaster FX muffler the next morning. Brought my car in, looked it over gave me a quote. They were straight to the point no funny business no side talk.Came the next morning there were roughly 3 people ahead of me. I only waited for about an hour and a half. I was thinking the welds may be rushed on my car, but the guy who put my muffler on was skilled. Quick and beautifully done work.Support local business, support The Muffler Shop.

Awesome group of people! Reached out at short notice about having a bolt on Corsa Extreme catback exhaust installed, and was given a competitive quote, and decided to head straight over afterwards. The gentleman that completed the install rolled my Jeep GC SRT onto the lift within minutes, and the install took about 1 hour and 15 minutes! He did a great job, and it sounded amazing as he started it up. Definitely will recommend this shop to others as it was recommended to be by a fellow over at the Little Creek NEX auto care center! Thank you so much for the help!!

If you need muffler work, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. I had a crack in my system. The dealership wanted $2,500 for a full replacement. I took it to another well known muffler shop and got quoted $1,400 for full replacement.I then came to this business, The Muffler Shop, they put my car up within minutes of getting there. They were able to replace the pipe and weld it in place right then and there for only $150. I can't believe they took care of my car that late in the afternoon. They quoted me for free . I scheduled an appointment two weeks later. Problem was fixed within an hr. Great customer service. I would recommend any and everyone to this shop

Nice on phone and nice in person. Fixed exhaust for $267 instead of the $1700 from state-sponsored extortion (aka State Inspection) racketeering national chain. Meanwhile, while waiting for my speedy servicing, another customer at The Muffler Shop was priced at $500 to fix something another place was going to charge $1400 to fix with unnecessary repairs.Go here for honest business dealings, nice people and good service.Service: Exhaust

1993 Toyota Hi-Lux with only 50k original miles. I love my truck- and these guys hooked her up. New plugs and wires and custom tail pipe- she spun the tires pulling out of the parking lot after I paid my bill- runs so much better. Great price

My daughter's car exhaust pipe rusted out at the flange, and the car sounded terrible. I called the muffler shop, they are a first come first serve business, they give free estimates, and the one I got was very fair. I was in and out in 30 min and the car sounds great. Definitely recommend the Muffler shop

Just bought a used 2018 Camaro and found out it had exhaust leaks. I walked in and the lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful. I dropped my car off and picked it up within 2-3 hours. My car sounds amazing! They have good prices & fast service. Highly recommend!

I found this place last min, and man was i impressed! Not only where they friendly, but i had everything done at a reasonable price and timely manner. I usually don't let ANYONE work on my car but i was having trouble putting on my own exhaust due to those rusty bolts. I called and they gave me an estimate and thats exactly what i paid. They also had to cut and weld the exhaust i originally wanted to put on with no extra charges to my knowledge. Very professional and they explain every step they were taking before they did the work! I definitely will be coming back if i have any issues! 10/10!Service: Exhaust

I wanted to see for myself if all these great reviews are true, and they are. If you need ANY type of exhaust work done this is the place. I've been driving for 44 years and had vehicle repairs done all over the USA, and this was unequivocally the best vehicle repair experience I've ever had. I came in with an urgent exhaust problem and it was repaired right away at a very reasonable price and the job was done perfectly. These are great folks with years of experience and pride in their work and it's a family owned business. Travis is The Man!

Cat back dual exhaust for my 2010 Ford Crown Victoria done today. Great service. Looks good and sounds great. Price was $300.00 lower than the other local quote. Highly recommended for all of their services. I will use them again in the future.

Great customer service and military friendly as well! I went in on a Friday to because one side of my exhaust needed a tack weld. After 15 min job was completed, and they didn't charge me not one cent. I insisted but they just graciously said thank you for your service and sent me on my way. Awesome service and honest people! Highly recommended.
