Sat on my truck for almost a week and weren't able to fix it. Thats understandable, but they never called me to give any sort of update. They get 3 stars because at least they didn't charge me anything. Might be better at regular repairs. Shrug.

Scam, reported to state. Failed vehicle state inspection for front brakes, which were new, wanted $500. Pushed again when I pickup up the rejected car because "it was still on the lift". Took car straight to firestone where it passed, same brakes, same car. Absolutely avoid at all costs.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

There are 2 gentlemen, 1 of 2 that will meet you at the desk, and they are both as kind and polite as can be. They are also downright honest and helpful, and did a superb job on my brakes.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Speedy works on all my trucks and my daughter's jeep. Son in laws tahoe too. Josh is a mechanical wizzard. If speedy can't fix it, it ain't broke.

AC failed 2 weeks ago. Went to Speedy they charged system and had me bring it back a week later to check for leaks. Came back told me condenser needed to be replaced. That was done on a Friday. Monday driving to work AC not working. Go back to Speedy sit for 2 hours watching mechanics staring at engine compartment. Then I am told they don t have the right equipment to figure out what is wrong. The tool they use is broken and they don t know when it will be fixed but they will call me when they get it back. I have used Speedy before and service was great until today. You lost a customer today.Service: Air conditioning

First time customer. Very friendly. Communicated details about my vehicle clearly and let us know what were issues that were computer/electrical and would be better resolved at dealer and they made a suggestion of company who specializes. I appreciated that. Bringing it back this week to have last repairs done that were waiting on a part to come in stock and I will try to update this after I've had the van back and driven it a bit. So far a 5 star experience!!

I have been taking my car to Speedy (VB) for years and have been repeatedly pleased with the service. As a woman I have encountered numerous shops and service techs that have either talked down to me, been dismissive, or outright lied about needed repairs. Yet, I have never been treated that way at Speedy. Every issue I have brought in has been treated with professionalism at the front counter and by the service technicians. Car is ready when they say and estimates are fair and accurate. Highly recommend this shop to others.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Superb service. The job was done in a timely fashion. The staff is respectful and professional.Update: Since my last review I brought my car twice to Speedy for regular maintenance and inspection. They did an outstanding job by being reasonably priced and in a timely manner. To me quality of service and honesty is above all. Also the prices they charge are in line with other shops.They got to make a living too. I will return to Speedy again.

Made an appointment 5 days before that day, went there and was told they cannot do my alignment and would charge me $400-$500 just for an alignment what a shame for this company. Lesson learned.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

Alignment Jan 2022. Saw wear issue new tires. Went back today.Had to ask staff for print of alignment details. Although toe corrected, staff would not explain cast and camber issues after I a asked for explanation. I do not recommend Speedy Indian River.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I went to Tire Choice Auto Service for an oil change and came back a week later with a check engine light. They told me that I had to replace the cylinders on my car because they were miss-firing. Then they told me the cost to repair and it was insanely high. I wanted to get a second diagnoses and took my car to Speedy Auto Service where they said the same thing however the price half of what Tire Choice Auto was saying. I was happy and surprised at the cost difference, the gentleman that was working at the front desk was kind enough to take me to my car in the shop to show how the repair was going to be done. The only issue with Speedy Auto Service is that they are almost always busy and can rarely take walk-ins. I recommended anyone that is looking at Speedy Auto Service to call in first to make an appointment because I tried walking in twice and both times was told that they were too booked up for the day. Other than that, once I made my appointment, they fixed my car within the day and was given the NAPA warranty.TLDR: Great service, long wait times so make sure you make an appointment, and offer fairly good prices for repairsService: Engine repair

I've brought my nissan maxima in for an oil change, free quotes and diagnostics, battery issues, and for a power steering issue. Each time has been a separate visit and every time its accurate on the time frame and price quotes. They are friendly, fair priced & pretty quick. Definitely will do business again.

I do not recommend this shop at ALL. I brought in my car for a fuel filler neck, and they broke two wheel studs and charged me to fix THEIR mistake. I brought in my own parts, and charged me $110 for one hour of labor. It takes 20 minutes MAX to replace wheel studs, and they charged me for a WHOLE hour to fix what THEY caused.

I pulled up 15 mins before closing with a screw in my tire and Alex at the front desk was kind enough to help. The mechanic that worked on my tire did a fantastic job and was so speedy that I was back on the road within 20 minutes. I couldn t be more thankful for their help! Thanks guys :)

This is the best company I have found to service all my work trucks and personal cars. Extremely honest and knowledgeable technicians are often hard to find in this industry, but not at Speedy. Their text when car is ready and the online software they use is very useful technology. Speedy goes above and beyond my expectations in every area every time I see them.

The staff there are awesome. Cameron is very helpful. And they make you feel like family. I will always take my business to them they don't try and RIP you off like some of these other places.

One of the best service experiences I ve had in the auto industry! Let me set the scene! Friday at 2:45 our AC goes out in the van we are leaving with four children eight and under 12 hours to New England to visit grandparents the next morning. The mechanics literally drop everything to find the problem and even though they were full at their shop they had a sister shop that the owner himself shuttled the car to and had it repaired and brought all the way back to the location closest to me all on a Friday after hours! They even stayed late to make sure everything was taken care of. my man Cameron was helpful and I can t speak enough to service these guys gave our family! Thank you

I m sure overall it s a pretty good spot, but if you re using CarMax Care extended warranty i personally don t think they take the warranty serious. Had a clinging sound underneath my truck every time my truck ran over a bump or imperfection in the road. After 5 hours was told they couldn t reproduce the sound after test driving it. My truck was parked behind their store and when i drove it around front to leave, ran over an imperfection in the road directly in front of their shop and cling. You can clearly hear the rattling with the windows down. SMH.Service: Body & Trim

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE EVER!! I called about 9am and asked if they could do a state inspection on my car the same day and the person on the phone said yes. I brought my car to this shop and again I was told that they would be able to complete my inspection the same day and that it would take about 4-5 hours. Fine, no problem. I left my keys with them and I caught an Uber Home. Well.... 7 hours later I hadn t heard anything so I called and asked the status of my vehicle, at which point I was told we won t be able to get to it today .... why didn t someone call me at some point during the day to make me aware that they had zero intentions on getting to my car that day? Horrible customer service!! The entire day wasted and still no state inspection, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere because I am convinced all the positive reviews are from their family and friends

UPDATE*** 3Stars is average. This place right now is at a 2 because of the following. Dropped my car off for a oil leak in a line. Paid 400 plus. less than 3 months later the gasket fails so bring it in to use the warranty. They honor the warranty and fix it so they get a star for that. Hours later I bring it back to the shop because the metal line is vibrating against the car making noise. They supposedly fix it and two days later I hear the noise again and investigate and find that a piece of cardboard is placed between the line and the car. So bring the car back to the shop and Im told they forgot to take the cardboard out and that they think it is the part that is faulty again. Im already upset at this point, and ask for the owners contact info and was told that the owner was unavailable and that I would get a phone call from the owner days later when they return from being out of town being that it is the weekend. The problem is that I brought my car in for a simple fix and have received explanations from faulty parts to forgetting the piece of cardboard. I dont know if I can give this place a 5 just due to the experience. If I get my car back today with everything fixed the way it was supposed to with an apology and honest explanation it may get a 3. Ive taken it to the dealer for a second opinion and know that there is nothing else wrong with my car so we will see what explanation i get. This may be all a misunderstanding but Ill update the review once I get my car back and see if everything is ok. Place is close to home, people seem nice and they have a good warranty policy. It could be an isolated incident and I want to believe it is but we will see.UPDATE*Honest mistake and provided refund on labor. In all, just human and they made up for their mistake. Will I return in the future? Im really interested to see if the owner reaches out. If they do then I think this place is a place I can trust and can come back to. But we will see. Gave it a 3 for honesty, apology and refund for accountability. might even give it a four if the owner reaches out.Owner reached out and apologized. Offered free oil change for the inconvenience. BLUF: Going to get my oil change and will likely return for additional services knowing that the owner/manager will make things right if they are wrong.

I brought my 1978 Toyota Corolla to get a tire rod and Adjustment sleeve and they did a good job on it. Would highly recommend them for 76 Toyota work they may not know every single little thing but they will do their best and they won t try to rip you off

I would give this place a zero stars if possible. Paid 50.00 for a diagnostic and they could find nothing wrong with my car. Took my car somewhere else and within ten minutes they not only were not only able to diagnose the problem, they were able to repair the problem very quickly. My car had a sensor replaced in January but the mechanic who replaced that sensor didn't reset the ECU and the part he installed was detective. Speedy auto didn't bother to check that even though I told them I thought it was a faulty part. This shop is not capable of doing work on cars since they aren't able to diagnose a simple problem with the computer, even when the customer very clearly states what the problem is. It's sad when a back yard mechanic doing work on the side can fix it and certified mechanics can't. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I take my car here and only here. Glad I took a recommendation. They not only fixed buy also cleaned the part of the car they we're fixing and got all the old oil off. Gave recommendations about other causes of the problem and even after showing they did not press anymore. Did not walk away feeling anything BUT confident and satisfied. Thank you.

Great customer service. They helped find a simple oil leak and told me how to fix it free of charge and within the hour. Will come again next time i need anything done on my car!

My mom went here to get her car fixed and they charged her for things she did not need. It seems to me that they told my mom what she needed and she didn't know any better. They charged her $900 and when I picked up the car for her nothing had changed except her savings account that was basically empty. As soon as I started driving the car it began shaking and I thought it was going to break down. DO NOT GO HERE.

I had to come back because the repair they did didn't last. The front desk guy said he'll keep me up to date and didn't. I had to call to get status. Shouldn't call it speedy. I don't mind the wait but just communicate and improve on customer service. Very lacking

These guys are so good at repairs that they may suggest that you fix a few things on your vehicle......... But don't freak out! They genuinely want you to have the most reliable transportation and you can trust Speedy Auto Service.

I've received great service at the Indian river location. The cost of labor beats most dealership's, and if they can't fix it they will point you in the right direction.
