It is a little early to give feedback about the truck, but the experience was by far head and shoulders above the GM dealer. Frank walked me through the entire process, cost, expectations and what i should expect. it happened just as he said. he was a huge help, and just for that i feel it was worth it. As for the truck the next 50K miles will be the answer.

You will get excellent service ay Price's Transmission. I went to Ford to get my Transmission fixed on a Ford warranty that was extended for the Ford focus. The car is a 2014 but only has 32,000 miles. Ford would not honor there word on the shudder issue on the Focus for that known shudder issue. The wanted $4,500 to repair. Frank at Price's quote me "around $3,500" but beat is own estimate at $3,200. Transmission fixed and computer module also replaced. Ford would not have replaced the module. At Price's, I got more for less! This was my first expense with them and they hit a home run!

This is not an honest company I brought my car there twice cause of the same problem and once cause of a new one just like any other liars they rig up your car temporarily so it seems like they did the job only for the same problem to come back and something else goes wrong..do not get your car serviced here untrustworthy!!!

They diagnosed my problem quickly. Friendly staff. Although the only repair option they offered was a complete transmission replacement with new and the mechanic asked me 3 times if I wanted to sell him my car. Felt like a conflict of interest, honestly.

I brought my vehicle to Price s for a leaking heater hose repair based on a recommendation from the dealership I purchased from less than a month ago. I dropped the vehicle off at 8am only to be informed 6 hours later that I brought the wrong part. The part I purchased was from a Ford dealership and matched my VIN, and was also approximately $60 less than the part they charged me for. I left my vehicle at their shop over night and had to arrange a ride back home. After receiving and looking over my vehicle the following evening, I see the same part number (Motorcraft KH914, alternate JL1Z18472B) stamped on the part they ordered, with the part I personally purchased and provided being identical to it. Additionally, while I do not have photographic proof, there are small nicks/scratches on the hood and driver s door that I know were not present when I dropped the vehicle off, with an odor of cigarettes lingering inside the car. I would recommend seeking service from your manufacturer s dealership for higher quality repairs or service.

They took the time to listen to my questions and answered everything I asked. They didn't try to rush off the phone like other shops do. A transmission replacement isn't a minor repair so it's important to know what you're getting. I'll be getting my truck done there soon.

Great car buying experience! We went to look at one car but realized it wasn t the right fit for us. If I could leave no stars I would, I brought in my 03 Ford Focus, there was an issue with the speed sensor Which I asked to be replaced and I told them that my vehicle had been stalling and I would like them to fix it. I was called and told that there would be some service fees and that I had a bad o-2 sensor and that the total costs would be $370. I was told that they couldn t find anything else wrong with the car and that it would be good to go after payment. I came in and payed the asked price and that s when the issues started. When I started my car there was a loud thud from the clutch and the engine sputtered out. They said I needed a new battery to keep the engine on and put in a battery I bought. The car started and ran but the clutch continued to make a clicking and thudding noise which it never did before. However they said when they drove the car as a test it ran fine so I drove off. Less than 2 miles later the vehicle completely lost all power which it had never done. The vehicle would not start and was stuck on the side of the road. When contacted, prices refused any responsibility and wanted to charge me $200 more to have the car towed and diagnosed. When asked about the diagnostic they claimed to never have diagnosed it and said that if I had wanted my vehicle fixed completely I should have brought it to a professional. Basically I paid $400 for a vehicle that won t even start and is in worse condition when it was brought in, prices refused any responsibility and would not take any further action without further payment. If you value transparency and a working vehicle then I would not recommend coming here.Services: Transmission, Electrical

I took my 2010 Mercedes E350 here for a Transmission tuneup and now it drives like it s brand new. The service reps are courteous and the mechanics are very knowledgeable and competent about their craft. I trust this place with my vehicles and I don t have to worry about inflated prices or misleading repair diagnoses. They know what needs to be done and nothing more.

Took our car to get priced for a transmission rebuilt and they started the warranty process with the company without a commitment from us to use their service. Luckily, the place we decided on called the warranty company quick enough to stop a check from being sent to them.

Prices transmission rebuilt my transmission in June of 2021. Within a week, the transmission died. It took them a week to rebuild it the first time and another week to rebuild it the second time. In my opinion, the transmission has not felt the same since it was new. 12/25/2022 transmission gave me issues again. As of 12/26/2022, the transmission appears to be working fine now. I plan on buying another transmission soon to replace the rebuilt one. After some research, I discovered I can purchase a matching 4L60E with upgrades and a better warranty cheaper than getting it rebuilt again. As of 4/29/2023, transmission has lost 4th gear. Rebuilt by prices less than 80k ago. I will not be going back for any more services.

I was informed by the Honda dealer that I needed to get my transmission changed after 20,000 miles. Just to play it safe I thought I d compare prices.These guys told me even if I brought it in they wouldn t change the oil because it doesn t need done. Talk about a company of integrity and character!

Straight forward and up front. They let me know the time frames and cost for work. Didn't get surprised with any hidden charges. When there were issues, they let me know up front.Went in for transmission replacement.

Went in to get transmission diagnostic. When. I got called back they told me that the double clutch on an automatic was going out and it was going to cost 4600 dollars. They told me I had to change out the ECU, Actuators, and clutch assembly. They said that it is required to change it all out. Call the Ford dealership and the price was only 2300 dollars and they said it is not required to replace items that are not broken. Not to mention they up charge 3 times the actual cost of the part. The clutch assembly would cost them close to 700 dollars and they were going to charge me almost 2000 dollars. I wanted to support a local business but I have learned my lesson

My honda mini van decided to start screaming while driving. Prices confirmed my mechanics Diagnosis. Have me a few choices on fixing the transmission and I couldn't believe the customer service. Frank kept me informed and helped me out during a rough time. Transmission work is never cheap but they crushed the competitions prices.

Had my transmission replaced in August 2022. 1 day later it had to go back in for a few days to get a new sensor replaced. 2 months later I have a huge transmission fluid spot in my driveway. Call Prices and Frank the manager says I can bring it in after 9am. I didnt give the review a 1 or 2 star because they do communicate and they did work with me when I was having my original problem. Really frustrated with the problems with a new transmission. I do not trust this so called new transmission.Service: Transmission

VERY pleased with Price's service. They applied the diagnostic fee to the repair fee so the diagnostic fee didn't feel like money wasted even though I already had a pretty good idea of what was wrong with my truck. The actual price of the part needed was more than the quoted price and they still honored their initial quote without hesitation. The front desk was very helpful, clear and concise with their explanations of what exactly was being done. I 100% will be recommending them to friends and family. They will now be my first call if/when other non transmission and/or routine services arise as well.
