The technicians were very thorough, very fast, very friendly, and communicated very well throughout the entire process. I really enjoyed how they took pictures of everything that was wrong and sent it to you prior to signing off on the work. I had a lot of work done and I still have some work to do and I will definitely be going back to them for that. I recommend them for anyone looking for an honest auto shop in VA Beach.

The team was professional, helpful, and got the job done right. This was my first time to a Meineke. I was pleasantly surprised they didn t try to sell me on a bunch of extras, they even found my breaks had plenty of pad left (with pictures to prove) after jiffy lube tried to sell me on new brakes the very same week. All services on my mid size SUV were performed efficiently. I was in and out within 2.5 hours on a busy day. They still offered me a loaner vehicle! They provide pictures to prove their work and communicate effectively via text and other options.I think as long you as go in to Meineke with patience and understanding that repairs take a few hours, then you ll have a wonderful experience.Side note: during my visit, a customer went completely crazy on the staff. The man abruptly started cursing and yelling at the employees for several minutes and then stormed out. I witnessed the whole thing and the customer was totally out of line, meanwhile the Meineke crew remained professional. The customer tried to blame them for up charges and lying but all they did was give him a quote.

This place is great! Their customer service is top tier. Super kind and seem to really care about their customers. I got my oil changed and they were transparent about the cost and process. The full report at the end was thorough and included pictures and descriptions of why each item needed to be replaced as well as info on how urgent each item is.

I would leave a 5 but there's always room for improvement. Sam the male received my initial call; pleasant and user friendly. At my appointment the next day Sam the male was not there but I encountered Samantha in the parking lot who told me Manny was at the desk and he was just as pleasant as Sam. Overall visit was great as I opted to wait for my car. Don't know who my mechanic was but shout out to him and the entire crew

The best service in town, Jordan is the name of the gentleman who helped me and my mother in law get our brakes problem resolved. Highly recommend to go there reasonably. Caring and fast service. Best working team you can ask for

Sam & Dan took great care of me as I incurred some extremely unexpected expenses during my visit. They worked with me and my schedule to get the work done promptly and provided me with a loaner for the day. I feel like they were extremely honest and upfront with me about what issues my vehicle had, and what needed to be addressed immediately and worked with me to get the best deal. I've gotten the run around with many places in the area, and probably wouldn't have the issues they had to address if I had someone honest to address all of my issues at once in the beginning like they did. It was a relief to find a shop that wasn't just trying to take my money but was concerned about the safety of my vehicle. I will be back for all of my future work and since it's a wrangler, I imagine we'll be doing a good amount of business together. I felt like the person that worked on my vehicle was knowledgeable and professional and I would recommend them to others that I know.

Sam greeted me with professionalism and reassurance with an a/c check and a state inspection. The whole team was quick and recommended services that i went for. The prices are reasonable and highly recommend this store or the one on holland road for professionalism, respect, knowledge and cleanliness of the waiting area.

I went to this Meineke Car Care Center to get an inspection done on my Enterprise Fleet work van. I was relieved to find that they could get me in the very next morning. I was impressed with their text message updates on what they found and how they were going to fix it. The messages included pictures of the part/parts in question showing the condition of them. I will definitely use Meineke in the future.

Dropped the kids off this morning only to look down on my windshield and realize my inspection was expired officially expired. Frantically called 3 other care care centers only to be told they were booked out for 5+ days. Called this location around 9am and they assured me that even though it was the 1st of the month and they were practically booked solid for inspections, they d get my inspection completed by the end of the day! Dropped off around 10am and by 1:30 they were done! Thanks to Jon and Dan for the amazing customer service!

First timer to get state inspect, oil flush, and brakes changed. Got it done on walk-in around 11 and had it back before close. Jordan is nice and knowledgable up at the desk. Driving it home, did not notice any issues. Being able to see results and/or concerns through a website was nice and allowed me to call and have things changed while on the fly. Thanks guys!

This place is a joke. After keeping my car 2 whole separate Saturdays for a mere state inspection that takes 20 min max they failed my inspection for tires. My car is 2 years old. To top it off they didn't even tell me it had failed. Just let me pay and be on my way. When I rectified the situation (I went somewhere else for tires because they were excruciatingly high, trying to sell me tires on financing ) I went back for reinspection and they left my car a mess and broke my steering wheel cover. I will never return to meineke.

I had recently gotten new brakes on my civic and when I brought my car in for inspection, it failed for the rear brakes. They sent me images of the faulty brakes (which I believe have been reused from other vehicles). I took my rejection sticker and brought my vehicle to a new shop and passed inspection with no issues. They also recommended thousands of dollars in work that my vehicle doesn t need.

We ve been loyal to this location for awhile, but after today, they re just another money sucking shop. We spent $2400 on services today and a new check light engine came on. They wanted us to pay an additional $185 to plug a sensor in that THEY forgot to plug back in when working under the hood. They refused to do anything to help unless we paid for them to diagnose the issue with the check engine light. Are you kidding me? You just forgot to plug it back in!! The cherry on top is that they forgot to tighten the nuts back on the tires. I forgave you guys for sneaking in the additive charge during my oil change that you didn t tell me you were going to do! Just because I had it the first time, doesn t mean I want it again!! There s absolutely no excuses playing games with people s cars.

The gentleman working here were very polite. However, I still think I got ripped off and was told that so many things were wrong with my car that I don t believe is true shopped around elsewhere, and had much better prices for the brakes that they charge me $650 for and they did not even flush out the brake fluid. The other company does the two brakes and flushes out the fluid for a lesser price and a longer warranty. I will not be returning to this place of business.

These people would scam their own mother. I brought in my new-to-me car that has ~14,000 miles on it for a state inspection. I failed inspection and was told that it would need around $6000 worth of work! It failed inspection because it needed all four brakes, rotors, and pads replaced. I was shocked! I didn t feel right about it, and after talking with my husband we decided to take the rejection sticker and go elsewhere. Guess what? My car passed inspection. I have a hypothesis that they are using dishonest photos of bad brakes and such, that it would be too difficult to discern from your own car. Please avoid this place for any car related maintenance issues and inspections. I do believe that this branch of meineke is taking advantage of people who may or may not know cars.

This is the place that you will find out all that you can about your car. They will tell you everything that they can do to your automobile. You have the ability to say yes or no to the work they can do, through a very convenient link through your mobile device. If one is not tech savvy it can be intimidating, because you may not be able to do all the math in your head. The office is very professional and courteous. I highly recommend them over a car dealership if you have ever experienced what a dealership's business practices are.

Let me say that the employee name DAN at the Laskin Va site was VERY RUDE. He refused to give me an inspection on a sprinter van, siting that he was booked for the day and could not fit me in. I was the first one there, at 630am waiting for the staff to arrive and there were only two of us in the parking lot when the store opened. He continued to state that he was busy as I tried to ask him a question. Another attendant name JOHN saw and heard how he was talking to and came over and apologized for his rudeness. He encourages me to wait for the manager and I did. The manager made sure that my sprinter van was inspected and that I was on my way. I would say NEVER go there but that would be a dis-service to the GREAT STAFF that are there to help you in an excellent way. I would just suggest that they remove DAN.

I came in for a diagnostic. Staff was incredibly kind & professional. The write up and recommendations were thorough. They even offer a financing plan for extensive and expensive work. Well done.

I used to enjoy this shop but now you can't get a quote for things over the phone. To get a quote for new brakes I have to bring my vehicle up there, can't even get a starting price. I will most likely not return to this shop.

They seem serious but I am not really sure yet. I left my car for an state inspection and it failed because the rear brakes. The issue is that I changed those brakes a month ago at other workshop, so anyone lies This week I will try to figure out with the previous place and if they give me the stamp, I will know who the cheater is.Update: This morning the car passed the inspection as it was. No brake rotor change need.

What a great experience! After getting quotes from two other shops, the men were able to give me the most for my money. I did not feel taken advantage of, instead I felt they were doing their best to help me and make my car safe.. I wouldn t recommend going here for anything. We came for an inspection and left with a sabotaged vehicle. So needless to say, I d avoid going here at all costs and instead go to somewhere like Poor Man s Auto LLC, where they won t rip you off and actually do quality work.

I paid over $1500. From the first time I drove it home it started making a grinding metal noise. Never made that sound before. I feel less safe now than before I got the state inspection. Will not be going here again.

I took my Jeep in for an inspection and I was shocked when it failed. I am currently enrolled at TCC's Regional Automotive Center and I am taking the Preventive Maintenance and Inspection course. I went over the Jeep thoroughly before I took it to Meineke, yet the inspector there said the front and rear brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. They quoted almost $1300 for the brake job. I bought new pads and rotors for less than $200 and replaced them along with a TCC instructor. Neither the instructor nor I could see any reason to fail the brakes on a State Inspection. The only possible conclusions I can come up with are an incompetent inspector or deliberately failing vehicles to sell unneeded services.

Went to this shop for a state inspection. I was told that I needed my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced to pass inspection and would have to pay an unreasonable amount to have it repaired there. Had my car inspected at another shop and the only thing I needed to pass Inspection was a headlight adjustment. Won t be coming back and would encourage you (the reader) to consider local, non-chain garages.

I was told that My Toyota needed all new brakes to pass inspection, $1,200. now they make noise and squeal, so I m back to the Toyota dealer to fix it correctly, before something bad happens, very disappointed in their work and lack of concern when I went back and was told that it s just normal brake noise. My breaks have never made noise before!

Meineke on Laskin has been truly amazing. I ve taken my car there on multiple occasions and have had the best communication and advice. They don t try to force unnecessary maintenance on you, and I don t feel as though I m being taken advantage of. Everything is upfront in pricing for parts and labor. They even work with you to fit your car needs within your budget. I recently had unexpected car problems and the staff was able to get everything that needed to be done within a given price range.Genuinely love that they send you an overview with maintenance that they see when they do their scans, and they send via text! They also break down the why, how, and when.
