Apart from having to call all the time for updates because they weren't proactive in doing so, there were several issues.The first was that they kept telling me the insurance missed a bunch of the work but they looked at it in person and should've stated that to insurance and come up with a better plan. What was supposed to take a week, which they told me when I dropped my car off was still the case, it took over a month but apparently they knew the entire time it would need much more work and were not forthcoming with that information.Second, after going through two rentals, they finally offered me a loaner while I waited for my car to be fixed. I return the loaner with a bit more gas than they gave me and I get in my car which has NO gas. 0 miles. The closest gas station is through two major intersections. This is actually a huge safety hazard and I am appalled that they would return a car to anyone with no gas AFTER driving it to and from the dealership and around to test it.Third, they told me they cleaned the car. It was disgusting. There were streaks and marks all over the windshield and dirt/dust everywhere.

Everyone is so kind and professional. They take care of you throughout the entire process. I had both of my cars fixed here and they made this stressful situation easier. I can say that my car drives better than before. I will not go anywhere else. Thank you guys for the great experience.

Got my car repaired here back in 2021 after being side swiped on the hwy. The repairs made to the vehicle were okay, just picking up the vehicle was sort of a hassle. My insurance company called me to tell me it was ready to be picked up. I get there and they have no clue where my car was, nor if the repairs were complete. After it was sorted out my car was brought out to me, & it stunk like cigarettes inside my vehicle (i dont smoke), there was burnt rubber pieces inside the rear wheel well (i dont beat on my car) and the recorded top speed on my cluster was 166. (I zeroed out the top speed before dropping the vehicle off). I told the lady immediately when inspecting my car, but she said there was nothing she could do about it. That i would have to call and speak to someone else about it (i did not pursue). After 3 years the clear coat on the 2 wheels they re painted has been slowy peeling off, the lil bit of over spray left on the plastics is still there, also the clear and black paint on 1 spot of the pillar is starting to fade away. All in all, I was just glad to my car back.

Everyone working here is very pleasant and helpful. I had a few hiccups in communication between my insurance and the body shop but it all worked out in the end. Sydney is the sweetest ! She answered any and all questions I had and made sure I was taken care of during the whole time my car was at the shop! thank you Sydney for being so kind!Service: Body & Trim

Truly, one of the best experiences I've had at Hall Body shop. Everyone was professional and eager to assist me with my warranty claim. Highly recommend, best service in the area. Had my 2010 Acura TSX hood repainted no issues.

I visited the body shop today to hopefully get my rear license plate taken off. Back story is I've been trying for over a week to get my old Minnesota plates off my vehicle and put my Virginia plates on. Both the front and rear plates were rusted on so bad that a regular screwdriver would not work taking them off. A visit to the dealership got the front plate off but they were not able to get the rear off. The guys at Hall body shop were beyond AMAZING, they put their heads together and came up with a plan and it worked. I now finally have my Virginia plates on my vehicle. A very happy customer who will use Hall body shop again in the future if needed. Thank you again!

They had my car for a whole month before they even contacted me and let me know they were still waiting on parts. They fixed 1 out of the 3 things that were wrong and they let me take my car. They told me they will let me know when to bring it back to fix the other problems. I had to pay the deductible and I asked are they sure they will fix the other things and I was reassured that I had nothing to worry about. It s been 2 months and I still haven t heard anything from them! I will not be referring anybody to take their vehicle here.

If I could give a no star rating I would but unfortunately I have to leave a 1 star rating. Very unhappy with my whole experience thus far with y all body. I dropped my car off over 10 days ago and have yet to receive an estimated day to pick my car back up. They originally told me it would take 5 days to do the repairs and here we are 10 days later with no time frame for when it will be ready. My insurance is not willing to extend my car rental and they couldn t offer a loaner car. You constantly get the run around about your vehicle and takes hours to get a return call back. Just poor customer service.

I had nothing but a positive experience with Hall. On December 6th, my neighbor backed out of her parking space and hit my car. She ended up causing almost $2000 in damage. I was so upset. This is my first car, and now it s damaged. I set up an appointment through my insurance and scheduled the repairs at Hall Automotive. They were completely supportive of me and made me feel a lot more at ease when I dropped my car off. The total repair took about 2 weeks, but my car looks brand new. Heather called me almost daily to keep me updated about when the parts would be in, and when it would go in for paint. I have a decal that s very important to me on the door that was damaged, and they ended up keeping the glass but replacing the door. Their customer service was amazing, and I m glad I trusted them to fix my baby. 5 stars

Went to get a dent fixed from an accident and Sydney was the most communicative & sweet adjuster we had. She always kept me in the loop about the repairs. She made the experience stress-free.

Recently has work on my Mustang after accident in July. Hall body shop did a great job, work looks brand new. Sydney was my advisor and she was more than helpful with answering questions, keeping me up-to-date and the process.

I was impressed with this place right from the beginning! The customer service was top knotch. During the repair process, I was kept informed just about daily on the progress of the work being done. When I picked the car up they had not only done the work they were suppose to do, but they had cleaned my car inside and out as well. The work done to my car was done very well. Very impressed with Hall Body Shop and will definitely use them again. I will also recommend people here. Thank you to everyone at Hall Body Shop!

Amazing!!! I have never been more happy with the service I received! Alex and Rob were so pleasant and kept me updated the entire time my car was in the shop. I have an 06 Accord and didn t think they would be able to match the paint as well as they did with my car being older but my car came out looking better than it did before! 10 out 10 would recommend them to anyone!

Hall's Body Shop completely exceeded my expectations! First, they were very efficient. With the Geico adjuster on site, to Enterprise being on site, the whole process was painless! Emily kept me up to date on their progress and when she called to tell me that my vehicle was in clean up I figured they would wash the outside and wipe the dust off from the shop. My vehicle was cleaned inside and out! Vacuumed and all! The paint looked fantastic and the back hatch was perfectly aligned. Thank you Hall!

Absolutely amazing! And so very happy with the quality of work. Heather called me 3x to update me on my Jeep and it was only there for a week! Bethany was the person who looked at my Jeep and she was just professional and down to earth. Taylor was just a gem! I honestly can go on about how happy I am with this business. Who ever wrote those bad reviews, y all are nuts.They also washed my Jeep before I got it, like wow! Thank you guys for taking good care of my Jeep and even myself!

My vehicle has been in the shop for almost 1.5 weeks and today I learned they have not forwarded pictures to my claims adjuster. . I stopped by today and overheard the estimator, Bryce tell another customer they rotate the technician every three hours to work on another vehicle. It s only 8 hours to a work day meaning they only work on 3.5 hours per day. Wow!!! My conversation with him was scripted and I had another appointment. I did not have time to discuss it further with management, so I decided to ask the public - is this normal procedure ???? Or am I just the little man not important to the overall revenue of their business? Please help me understand ..!

I am horrified after reading one of the reviews where the client's car was in the shop for 4 months. My car has been in this shop TWO months now. I have kept an accurate log of every conversation. If they weren't waiting on my insurance company, they were waiting on a part, or the incorrect part was received and it had to be reordered. My rental car limit was reached and my insurance company asked them to pay for a rental. It was not granted. After a week with no car, I myself, inquired about getting a rental from them because I was notified about them receiving the wrong part. I was told I could get a rental....when one became available. That was 3 days ago....no car; mine or the rental.The communication; however, was excellent; thus, the 3 stars. I cannot say the same for the service as far as repairing my car. That is yet to be seen. I was notified each week of the progress or lack thereof. Jim, Nicole, and Ashley were very professional. However, I am very dissatisfied with the slow progress of the labor and the inefficiency in ordering/receiving parts. The reason I had my car sent to Hall Collision Center was because of the EXCELLENT service I receive from my dealership, Hall Chevrolet. I thought parts would be readily available. The insurance company contributed to some of the delays but not to the extent of having my car this long. My car has a cream leather interior. I hope that when it's finally returned to me I won't have an added expense of cleaning it. What a disappointment.

I can not say enough great things about the service I received at Hall. I live in Suffolk but wanted my repairs done at the Virginia Beach location. After calling the shop and speaking to a very polite receptionist, I was elated to find out that they have a body shop professional located in the Chevrolet dealership 5 miles from my home. I took my car in for the estimate and Cammi took it from there. She wrote my estimate and even transported my car to the shop and back so I didn't have to take the time out of my busy day to do it. She handled everything so I didn't have to and kept me informed every step of the way. I couldn't be happier with the repairs and the customer service was stellar! Keep up the great work Hall!

They said they couldn't guarantee the color match on a 2022 limited edition color. I had a 2mm size chip on the very edge of the driver side door. They said they had to do the entire door and likely the back door as well so that it would match but couldn't guarantee that it would match the rest of the Jeep. It's a stock color!!! Then I got the quote-almost $3000! Yeah, when I went in looking to fix a 2mm chip on the edge of the door. SMH Shame on you.

My experience with Hall Auto Body was outstanding. I felt horrible for running over my neighbors cat and they made me feel better with their outstanding service. From the ladies at the front desk to the service men everyone was prompt, courteous and professional. My car was ready on the day they promised and it looked nice, clean and smelled great. It left no evidence of me running over the cat...every dent, scratch (no pun intended) and paint discoloration was no longer on my car. Kudos to the Hall Auto Body staff.

Pillar trim on my door flew off on the highway a few months after having my door worked on. Came in thinking they would replace it considering they were the last ones to work on my vehicle and I haven t done anything expect drive to and from work and the trim didn t even last a year before falling off my truck. Surprise surprise that wasn t the case. Tried to make me pay for a part they installed incorrectly considering it s not in the truck anymore but they just told me it was installed correctly and there was no way of telling how it came off. Hated every second working with Hall Body. Save yourself the money and time and go somewhere else.

Everything was great. Deo was friendly and professional. Dropped my car off and got a rental at the same location. Took about a week but when I picked my car up it looked way better than I expected! I am completely satisfied with the workmanship and professional service I received. I would definitely recommend Hall Auto Body for any repairs. Thanks again!

I had a great experience here, they are one of the preferred body shops of Geico and used their express program. Looks like people have mixed reviews I am guessing depending on the damage of the vehicle, which I would say really case by case basis. With my experience with other shops, I would say really important to have clear communication and set expectations first and foremost. Be understanding first that again each repair would be unique, but if you are not happy and seems like something is not right then make sure report them to supervisors and escalate, get their names.. and the write the review of your experience in a fair manner.

I had work done on my truck and the service department at Hall was AMAZING!! I knew every step of the way what was going on with my vehicle at all times and never had to call to get updates. The employees at Hall kept me updated on everything. The body shop did wonderful with repairing everything. I will be using them for all my work from now on. Thank you Hall Body Shop Team for an amazing experience during a hard time.

Very unhappy! It took two weeks to put an inferior bumper on my car. If I didn't open my trunk I would not have seen the huge gap between the bumper and my trunk. It's now a month later and I'm still waiting for the replacement. My car is a Nissan and I figured they would do a good job! Wrong, wrong wrong! Customer be ware, check everything!

These guys are impressive!They were friendly, quick with their work, and really just made me feel like they genuinely wanted this to be a good experience for me.Not only did they help me with an unmentioned safety deposit for the rental vehicle but the rental was a 2018 and nicer than the car they were repairing. I certainly miss driving that thing.Furthermore, when I was having a little trouble with my passenger side window after the repairs (something I've had a bit of difficult with since buying the car) they fixed it in such a way that it's working better than it ever has!I will have to call Rebecca tomorrow to let her know that my button is working, the window is great, and even though she said they were unable to fix it it turned out great anyways. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the relief of that window being less funked up. Thank you!

I had my bumper replaced back in 2015 at Hall Nissan after an accident. The paint started bubbling and peeling about a year or so later. I brought it in the other day and they told me they were going to get me a whole new bumper. They ordered me a new bumper and had it panted and put on in less then a week. Emalee was extremely friendly, fast and on top of everything. It was a great experience. My car looks new again. Thank you!

They were great throughout the whole process. Big shoutout to Mr. Brian Buchanan and Mrs. Miranda Rollman for getting me through the process. The only part I would have to complain about is the wait and some miscommunications. Overall, they were pretty nice and kept me informed about parts. Some things were out of their control but I m thankful for them.

I just took my car in to get it repaired. It took 3 days but I didn't care b/c I had the opportunity to drive a brand new car as my rental! The people were great and attentive to my car. I received an email during the process to let me know how things were going. Enterprise Rentacar were great as well. They provided great service and very timely too. When I turned my car in to get the repairs, I had a toddler care seat to remove. When I removed it to put in the rental, there were sooo many crumbs left from my child. It was a mess! When I got my car back, it was clean and not just washed but vacuumed too! I was shocked and surprised! Thank you Hall Body shop for your attention to detail. You made the experience painless and I'll recommend you to anyone. Hopefully I won't be back but if I need repairs, I'll know where to go. Thank you very much!
