Clean Location and the front counter lady is very friendly but that all I can say positive. My insurance company sent me there after a car accident. The Service Manager Brad Cheeseman is a Snake. He lied to my face multiple times. He asked me to pay for my auto care service so I could get my vehicle repaired and he promised that he would adjust the pricing when the Insurance Adjuster filed a claim.Once I paid, the Insurance Adjuster, quoted me for $2,000.00 less than Brad's initial estimate. He said he can't adjust the price to give me my money back because 5 days after a payment is made it is deleted from the system. For a major company like Firestone we all understand how bills and taxes go, my payment is still on the books for all taxable reasons. I was so irritated that he used that LIE to my face; but I respectfully exited the business. That is not how customers should be treated. All of these years as a veteran and this is how I get treated at home.Thank You Firestone, readers please understand why you shouldn't go there for vehicle service. I wish I would have known; I wouldn't be $2,000 short going into the holiday season.

UPDATES: After posting the original review (below) I also found that the new, name-brand, tires that I put on the vehicle at time of alignment were now completely bald (with approx 6k miles) on the inside edge following the alignment.I appreciate Bryan, from corporate, responding to my original review. I followed up with Bryan, providing all requested information and full details. I received a general response stating that the store would follow up with me to resolve the issue. They DID NOT follow up. I'll need to pay someone else to align the vehicle properly and replace the new tires at more than $260/ea. In all, choosing the wrong vendor will cost me at least $800 + too much time.Hopefully this was a one-off, but consider yourself warned and beware of the potential issues following a poor alignment job.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Friendly staff and a generally pleasant experience. They seem to have done a good job with the actual alignment and other minor issues. However, after the alignment, they left my steering wheel not straight. I made another appointment and dropped off for another full day. I picked up at the end of the day and still a crooked steering wheel. I think it isn't a hard fix, but...Since I needed to get the van back in service, I couldn't leave for another full day to maybe be fixed. The issue still bugs me every time I get in the van, of course, so I'm getting it off my chest.

I've been to a lot of different Firestones around the country. The one at College Park is the best, I think mainly because Ariel knows how to treat customers. Ariel is very easy to work with and she provides options with your products and services that is tailored to be within my budget. I will be back! Thanks Firestone and especially thanks to Ariel. Happy New Year!

Let me tell yall about this raggedy company customer service!I get there at 8:40 appointment at 9 am for an oil change and inspection.I watch as 4 other "walk ins" get serviced and leave! So then at 10:45 so 2 hours for an oil change and an inspection?lol are yall a joke??Then they have someone not on the clock going in and out of the bay area and check me in but isn't on the clock wandering around smoking cigarettes. I then call and rudely was told by Ariel or whatever her name is in a condescending tone that " I SAID THE CAR WAS IN THE BAY" First off Let's not do that Ms. Maam Don't go here they treat minorities like trash

Shoutout to Ariel, who listened to what we wanted done and made it happen. Not only that, but she communicated well throughout the whole process. Thankful that these folks care about customer service and did great work on our vehicle. Be prepared for the parking lot usually is packed, so be careful entering and exiting the lot.

Firestone failed miserably.Made an appointment for a alignment on Thursday morning @10 am , Received a call from the manager to reschedule my appointment because they were overbooked I said no problem how about I drop the truck off and you can have it all day Friday and Saturday, no problem. Left my truck for a life time alignment check oil change engine diagnostic and a state inspection. After a full afternoon of no contact I called to check on progress was told it needed a battery tray for inspection, I had them reject it so I could fix it and they did , however, they did not do my alignment check, they did not do any other item on my list even told me everything was good, no problem starting the jeep. a Jeep with no starting issues took me 20 minutes and a jump start just to leave the parking lot with a no problem starting Jeep other than a week battery ., it caused over cranking the battery which was 5 years old and on it's last leg but it worked when you don't have to try and start a car for 20 minutes. Thanks for the great service Firestone. Do not take your car or truck to 987 S. Military Highway .

They always stop work 1 hour before close. I had a tire actively losing air and all they said was sorry our air isn't on! No one was working. I don't know why I bother having credit with them every time I'm in need...really in need they have an excuse as to why they can't help

Brought my car in for alignment after replacing my tires and control arms. After getting the car back at 5pm I noticed that the steering wheel was kicked right and pulled to the right which it wasn't doing before. I called the next day and the receptionist was rude and unhelpful I was left with no other option then to reschedule for the following Saturday. Upon returning for another alignment I'm being told that it's pulling due to tire wear but has brand new tires on it and sat for a week? My car now pulls left and the steering wheel is still kicked right. I strongly recommend going elsewhere for an alignment I know I will for now on

Don t set appointment with customers service rep over the phone. I travel from out of state for a car I purchased when I went to the location they said they couldn t find my appointment and that it happens quite a bit. It was frustrating since I needed to leave the next day. I m glad I was at least able to get my oil/oil filter changed, but they never called me when we was finished they were going to have me wait until 6pm

I took my car to Firestone the end of February for oil change, they had my car 9 days for oil change, broke the car while it was there did not charge me a penny for any service because they know the broke my car, gave me my car back with the air ride all jacked up, took car back they kept my car over a month then had it towed to another shop, where I learned that Firestone somehow let my car get flooded while they had it for over a month, now the shop they sent it to can t get anybody from Firestone to return their call, no one is calling me back, I have contacted Firestone Corporate several times with no call back, it Appears Firestone has no type of customer service, I was assigned an adjuster that I ve spoke to once and now it appears he fell off the face of the earth Firestone has had my car over 2 month, the store lied, they hid damage to my car, they were never upfront about anything. They sent my car to a whole different company. Now Firestone seems to be ignoring the situation after they sent my car there. Very poor customer service from Firestone as a wholeService: Oil change

I paid over $700 for the repairs they listed, after being told my vehicle was in great shape and they did not find the source of the noise. I picked my vehicle up and drove .6 miles to my house, not only did the noise start that I initially reported, but my vehicle started smoking. I turned it back in the next day 1Sept. It is now 9Sept, I have called several times over the course of 4 days and can not get my questions answered. Last person I talked to was Ryan. I asked him why this was not discovered in the 2 diagnostics performed, he said he would test drive it and call me back. I'm still waiting, over a week later.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

Amazing and wonderful place. The people went above and beyond to help me get my truck working and safe to drive. They went out of their way to go get the part needed for me so I wouldn't be without a vehicle the next day! Absolutely will be coming back for all my vehicle needs!

Technically, their weekday hours start at 7 A.M. but they opened the doors around 6:50 A.M., so that's a plus. My car was parked outside and looked ready to go. I went inside and the guy at the front desk treated me with excellent customer service. He gave me my key. The tire that was repaired was under warranty therefore I didn't pay anything. That's another plus. Now the downside! Of course I inspected my car. I was startled to see the clothes I had in a bag, that I meant to bring to the cleaners, were scattered on the back seat. The garment bag I used to store my clothes in was on the floor area of the front passenger seat. My car was actually ransacked. Also, the center console and storage was left opened and half of it's contents were on the front passenger seat. I was in a hurry to go to work so I didn't make a good assessment of what was stolen if there's any, at all. I asked the front desk personnel to look at the car. He offered some thoughts but they were nonsense. When I had time to re-inspect my car, I found 2 things missing: my wife's sunglasses and her scarf. Probably worth $50.00 altogether. I don' t think it's worth it to file a police report. I haven't reported to the store owner/manager. This report is being posted roughly 2 hours after I picked up my vehicle from Firestone on S. Mil Hway. Thanks for reading!

They were simply amazing with how short-staffed they were. I don't know the mechanics name, but Ariel at the service desk was absolutely perfect. I know with the 200 customers they had today, she truly cared, doing everything she could for both me and the other 200 customers. The wait was well worth it!

Great job, very quick and easy experience by tech Joshua H. Never been so reassured with a service I am a car guy myself and usually do my own work but was put in a bind when my child failed to tell me they needed their vehicle serviced until the very last minute. This is by far the best Firestone location in the city maybe even region! Thanks again

Ok, I am giving 3 stars because I went there twice these past weeks. First visit was for a flat tire which was fixed with no issues but I think it cost a lot to pay $42.17 to just plug the puncture but it got fixed and that's what mattered. The second visit was a free scan code for a engine light coming on. I was there for almost 30 mins and they told me that it may be the purge valve but they will still need to run a diagnostic which will cost me $100.00 and will need to order the parts. When I asked him if he can give me the estimate for everything, he said it will be around $300.00 but he doesn't know until he calls for the pricing of the part and I did not agree to anything yet. I went home and talked to my Dad about it and he said that the part should not cost that much and he said I should call Firestone and tell them to cancel the work order and he will have his mechanic friend do it for me or he can teach me how to do it. The guy who answered the phone, I think his name is Josh. When I told him not to order the parts and I wanted to cancel the work order, got upset and said I should've told him that awhile ago so they could've charge me for the scan. I told him the website says it's free and they did not do a full diagnostic to charge me with anything. He said I wasted their time. I will never come to this Firestone again, if this is how they treat their new customers and to think this was recommended to me by a family member.

I arrived here on May 5th for a wheel balance, and for my front left tire stem to be replaced since it was losing pressure. I inflated all 4 tires to 35psi (Ford recommends 30-40 for my truck) about 10 minutes before I left for my appointment. Now I was aware about the uneven wear the tires had on the ends since they were never balanced. After they got done, they recommended me to get 4 brand new tires ($900), a Virginia state inspection (The truck is registered in North Carolina with a NC title), coolant exchange (It looked old, but still functional), and my front right valve stem to be replaced. I declined the other work since everything else was fine. So I paid, drove it home, and when I checked the tire pressure they were all at 35psi except the front right. It was at 15psi and had lost 20psi after I drove it home. I figured they were checking the pressure and forgot to put air in it, so I did it myself. It lasted for a week then my TPMS light came on. It lost 15psi of pressure so I was a bit suspicious. Also within that week, my truck had overheated 3-4 times and left me on the side of the road. The coolant had some sort of brown dirt inside hat was clogging up the lines. Now I never had this issue before so I brought it in today for the manager to look at it and explain to her what was going on. I told her everything that happened so she scheduled me to bring it back in today. Upon inspection, it was discovered that dirt was inside my coolant tank, and the reason why my tire was leaking is because there was a nail in it that looked brand new. Even though they said it was the valve stem. She went ahead and told me the work would be free and that it would be looked into. They patched my tire, and fixed the coolant issue with new coolant. I'm usually not the type of person to leave a bad review and give people a hard time, but I expect honesty. All I wanted was for the tire issue to be addressed, and for the dirt to be removed from the coolant. I didn't care about it being replaced. They went ahead and installed a new stem, patched the tire, and gave me new coolant for the trouble. I've been going to firestone for all my tire needs for the past 5 years and never had an issue. But just like everywhere else just be careful who/where you go to. They went above and beyond to correct the issue and in a timely manner. If you discover an issue that wasn't there before don't be scared to bring it up. They will make it right. And with that, I'm happy! Good job to the management team and honest mechanics for making this right.

I would like to thank everyone for their kindness and professionalism. I'd especially like to thank Ryan for making me feel like a preferred customer even though it was my first time here. The customer service and the work performed on my vehicle was world class. I would definitely recommend you to anyone.

I came in yesterday to rotate my tires and to see if they can fix my tire because it had a nail in it. I have firestone tires so they are protected with the warranty and roadside protection. After 30 minutes, they told me the nail was too deep and it was curved in, concluding that the tire was unrepairable. I was a bit uneasy with their answer because they didn't remove the nail so how could they tell how deep it was. I was given a list of stores that had my tire in stock. I went to a Firestone in Virginia Blvd and they ACTUALLY removed the nail. Come to find out, the nail was small and they were able to patch up and send me on my way with no charge. The only reason I am giving two stars because the sale associate were polite. But I would not reccomend getting your service here done because they lied to me saying it was not repairable which it would cost me $100 for protated tires. Second, the tech did not bother to clean up after himself, he left all the plastic wraps on the seats and steering wheel and floor mats.

They left my cousin keys in her glove box and parked the car on the side and her car was stolen then when my brother went up there and they told him people go through the glove boxes all the time so I m confused to why you left her keys in the glove box and now her car is gone
