Eric Bowman got my paperwork in and turned around for approval within an hour. Took the car on a test drive and loved it! Eric explained the process from beginning to the end and asked me if I had any questions continuous along with way! He was perfect and spot on with the process and nothing was left out! I live 3 hours away and Eric also went above and beyond to take care of the paperwork so when I got to the dealership, I just had to review and signed! Signed, sealed and delivered exact! Would and will recommend this business without hesitation!

Ms. Simone is the best!! We were referred and came from Richmond to buy a car. I m so happy we did because she welcomed us like we were family and even though we didn t get the car we originally wanted, we left with what we needed and can afford so thank you Ms. Simone! Truly grateful!!

Well worth the 14 hour trip to see Mr. Bowman! After unexpectedly losing my car in Florida. My sister, who has been financing a car with them for three years, suggested I try my luck with Darryl and Mr. Eric Bowman of car choice. I m expecting a baby any week now and being car-less was the last thing I needed. Mr. Bowman negotiated day and night on my behalf until we found the car within my budget and safe for my family. Thank you Darryl and Eric! Y all are blessings to my family and me!

Got a car from this place. I needed a car like anyone else with a job. Explain my situation to them. Was told we have good cars. Car was picked out for me stating I couldn t get another car. Been walking in the rain and heat to work so I was being a little green. Exactly 29 days later my dashboard is a Christmas tree lights everywhere. Took the car to get a diagnostics test to see what codes it showed. I take the car back mechanic states there s nothing wrong and nothing he can do including the head manager who works there. Dashboard was completely clear of any indications to check engine. Would expect this from a Norfolk car lot or Portsmouth.

Ms. Simone was so nice to me and my grandmother and got me approved for my car within the same day! I came in 2 days afterwards and got my car with no problems and a speedy process! So thankful and glad I looked into this dealership! They will make sure you get your vehicle!

Car Choice. First I would like to apologize to them and to anyone who seen that review. Upon explaining my issues to them. And how I felt and even hung up on them, they took the initiative to still call me back. To explain they will do anything and everything for there consumer. They called me back even after me not trying to understand there point of view and even got my car serviced at a partner place that works on cars with not 1 star but 5 stars. Eric Bowman and the GM Darryl I apologize for my past review. Great cars for consumers with good credit bad credit or even a restart in their life. There goal is to HELP HELP HELP at Car Choice. Much appreciative for them and my Infiniti I bought from them.

UPDATE: MARCH 23, 2024 I NOTICED THE SAD, EMPTY RESPONSE AT THE END OF THIS REVIEW. PLEASE PUBLIC, DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF IT. IT SEEMED TO BE A SCAM THAT THEY HAD RUN MANY TIMES. THE OWNER WAS TELLING ME IT WAS SO UNFORTUNATE, WITH NO EMOTION. I SPENT MY MONEY ON A ROOM, GAS, AND FOOD, WHEN I WAS NOT APPROVED FOR A CAR. AFTER THEM SAYING I WAS APPROVED WITH A $500 DOWN PAYMENT. WHEN I GOT THERE I WAS TOLD IF I DONT HAVE $2000 DOWN, I WAS NOT APPROVED. I TOLD THEM I ONLY HAD $500 BEFORE I CAME. AND HE HAS NEVER REACHED BACK OUT SINCE THIS REVIEW WAS WRITTEN AND HAS NO INTENT TO. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO GET A CAR WAS SPENT ON POOR SERVICE AND BUSINESS PRINCIPALS.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, OR GET MY WASTED MONEY AND TIME BACK. BUYER BEWARE: THIS DEALERSHIP WILL SAY ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO COME TO THEM. WHEN YOU GET THERE, THEY WASTE YOUR TIME. I SPOKE WITH A SALESMAN IN DECEMBER '23 THAT TOLD ME THEY COULD DEFINITELY GET ME APPROVED FOR A VEHICLE, AFTER I FILED CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY. I FILED FOR MY CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY, AND CALLED THE DEALERSHIP. I SPOKE WITH A SALESMAN, WHO SPENT ALL DAY GETTING INFORMATION FROM ME, AND AN HOUR BEFORE THE DEALERSHIP CLOSED THE SALESMAN CALLED ME BACK AND SAID I WAS APPROVED. HE SAID THE MANAGER HAD PUT TOGETHER A LIST OF ABOUT 15 CARS I COULD CHOOSE FROM. I EXPLAINED THAT I WAS FOUR HOURS AWAY, AND WOULD HAVE TO COME DOWN TO GET A HOTEL ROOM, AND COME TO GET A CAR IN THE MORNING. I GOT TO DEALERSHIP AND THE SALESMAN I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MEETING WAS OUT SICK, SUPPOSEDLY. I GOT ANOTHER OLDER, RUDE SALESMAN. I WAS TOLD THAT I WAS APPROVED FOR ONLY ONE CAR ON THE LOT. I SAID I WAS TOLD A CHOICE OF 15 CARS. SO THAT WAS A LIE UPFRONT. THEN I WENT TO TEST DRIVE THE CAR, AND THE OLDER RUDE SALESMAN TRIED TO BE CONDESCENDING AND TELL ME HOW TO DRIVE. I WENT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP, AND SPOKE WITH THE SALES MANAGER. HE NOTIFIED ME THAT I WASN'T EVEN APPROVED FOR ONE VEHICLE. I WAS TOLD TO COME THERE UNDER FALSE PRETENSES. THIS CAUSED ME $200 TO GET MY ROOM, AND AT LEAST 100$ IN GAS, AS WELL AS MY MUCH NEEDED VALUABLE TIME. THE SALESPEOPLE WERE NOT DRESSED PROFESSIONALLY, AT ALL AND I HEARD OTHER CONVERSATIONS THROUGHOUT THE TIME I WAS THERE, THAT LED ME TO SEE THAT THIS IS PROBABLY HOW THEY OPERATE THIS BUSINESS ALL THE TIME. IT'S VERY BAD BUSINESS AND I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I JUST HOPE I AM ABLE TO SAVE SOMEONE FROM BUYING A CAR FROM THEM, AND HAVING TO GREATLY REGRET IT. NEXT STOP THE BBB, HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL BE SAVED.

Never again...the process was not pleasant. I had to do most of the financing through the bank myself making multiple pointless trips waiting for approval when things like that are USUALLY handled through the bank and the dealership. Since driving off the lot I ve been back at least 10-15 times or more due to miscommunication and unprofessionalism. I should ve left the lot when one of the associates informed me I should turn up the music to ignore the gurgling noises a Nissan Altima she was trying to convince me into getting was making. (Can t make this s*** up) I decided on a Volkswagen Passat that has given me multiple issues in the past 30 days I ve had it. Which is unfortunate, because I love the car and I really needed a car which is why I was dead set on having it. Two tires have plugs in them, one of my headlights exploded and melted the interior of the light. The simple fix was shoving a new bulb into the melted socket. (Pictures attached) and I wish they would have tried to charge me for it!! TUH. They have a great selection of cars, but thoroughly inspect and do your homework before you sign and drive away. They wanted a good review, well here s an HONEST ONE.

Bought my vehicle from Car Choice yesterday on a whim. Was happy that my family ended up there. Seen the vehicle I wanted upon entry into the dealership. Was welcomed in by the car choice team. After speaking with Mr. Marlow about the vehicle I was interested in, I was immediately handed the keys for a test drive. Even though I had arrived later in the day, the Car Choice team was always courteous and friendly. Not once during the process was I rushed along. I felt safe in my vehicle purchase and I feel the Car Choice Crew was very professional from beginning to end. Thank you Car Choice for the great experience and look forward to working with you in the future!

Called to inquire about a vehicle. Could not get one word in, everyone I got transferred to immediately cut my sentences off with asking another question. Highly disrespectful staff with zero patience. Ultimately got hung up on after voicing to let me speak. This incident says a lot about this business service.

Eric Bowman sold a 2016 Lexus GS 350. Service was great I came from Minnesota to buy the car he came and picked me up from the airport I highly recommend shopping at Car Choice they have a great selection of cars and trucks as well.

Eric Bowman and the rest of the team were very professional and I felt at home since the moment I walked in. I m a deputy sheriff for VA Beach and I have to say I know good and bad people and it was a real refreshing experience to know there s good people at Car Choice.
