I've been going to this shop for years. They have always been timely and reliable. They have never once tried to upcharge me on an unnecessary repair, and the few times they have recommended a repair to me, it was on something that was absolutely needed and would have eventually effected the performance and safety of my vehicle. They are without a doubt my go-to shop for this area and I intend on continuing to give them my business.

Truly the nicest experience I ve ever had. My husband is currently deployed and I had originally taken my vehicle to Mr. Tire , and they completely tried to take advantage of me. They disconnected and disassembled parts of my car and left them so that I would have to come back. Well thankfully I Came to Ace instead, and not only were they so kind, but they fixed my car for no charge. Will be coming here only for the rest of my time in Virginia. So nice to know I have a place to trust when my husband is gone

Late in the afternoon I stopped by on a nearly flat tire. These guys got me fixed up in a matter of minutes including patching a second tire where we found a nail. The shop was busy but they still took the time to help me as a walk in. I really appreciate the service!

7/29/19 was my first visit. Made an appointment for an annoying, whining sound coming from the motor of my 2007 Toyota RAV4. I suspected a bad Alternator. Collin calls and gives me updates, recommendations and photos. Never any sales pressure. Vehicle is back to normal, quiet and runs like dream! My new go-to for used car repairs!

I woke up this morning to a completely flat tire. After filling it with my air pump and driving to work, I began the search for the closest auto repair shop with good reviews.I see now why Ace Automotive has so many 5 star reviews! I called them right when they opened and they asked if I could bring my car by in about an hour. I was a few minutes early but they grabbed my car right away and had my tire patched in less than 20 minutes. THEY DIDN'T EVEN MOVE MY SEAT! That fact alone is probably worth 5 stars. But the friendliness, willingness to fit me in right away, and the speed with which they made the necessary repair are pretty 5 star-worthy as well. I definitely recommend them if you need work and are in the area.

Coolant system had to be replaced. Steve had us drop off the car and replaced the radiator. We were thrilled that the work was accomplished on the same day! This place is awesome! Anything you need done to your car, they can do it for you. They have a great staff (Collin, Steve, and all the guys are very friendly and professional), great knowledge of their craft, the prices are very reasonable, and they get stuff done without taking forever! I also prefer to go to locally-owned small businesses, and this place is veteran owned and operated. I've lived in Virginia Beach all my life and been to plenty of car repair places. This is by far the best and I will definitely be sticking with them.

Steve(owner of the shop)and Colin(shop manager) are and have been GREAT to work with!! All the other guys on staff that I've encountered while there are also very friendly and pleasant as well! Don't hesitate to trust them with your vehicles!

The most honest and hard-working mechanics I have ever met. Steve is great to work with and will definitely get the job done. Great attitude from everyone there and overall just a trustworthy business. I always recommend Ace to anyone looking to get vehicle work done.

These guys are a truly rare and amazing group. You give them most problems and they'll figure it out and be straight with you. My family has been taking automotive issues, repairs, and upgrades here for years and they've never let us down. Even the old fashioned "female tax" people mention about mechanics I haven't seen in these guys (with both my mother and S.O.). If you have a genuine issue, need help, or even have a question about something going on with your vehicle, theyll help you out. As long as you keep it respectful on your end (i.e. respect them and their rules), they'll go the extra mile for you.

Steve helped me out; he was very professional and courteous. Great customer service. Very honest and upfront regarding pricing and billing for labor. I was quoted $1000 plus at a dealer service center whereas with Ace Automotive the parts and labor was only $400. Great price for great service. I highly recommend Ace Automotive and will be going back to have my other vehicles fixed here.

I've been a customer of Ace Automotive for several years but for the last couple of years I was going to another place closer to home (I used to work close to them). This year the place I was taking it to tried to rip me off with a bunch of added work for my inspection - so I brought it back to Ace. I am so glad I did. Not only did Steve save me a bunch of money, but he reminded me why I used to take my car there.Steve is not only honest, but he and his crew do great work. Make sure to call beforehand of course, they do get busy because many of the locals know they are the place to go. They are very military friendly but they do accept civilians too... lolToday he saved me a good bit of money vs the local chain I had brought my car to. I am glad I thought to bring it back to them - and that is where I will be bringing it from now on.Thanks Steve! Very much appreciated!

Finally, I found a mechanic to work on my truck. I was not really sure because of the price but the quality and the fact that they really wanted to do the job right made it worth every penny. I will pay for quality work anytime. We have 3 other projects lined up soon.

My husband and I have been there a few times since it s close to our home and we have always been pleased. The prices are reasonable and competitive and the customer service is even better. Our cars are always finished in a timely manner as well. I can t complain. As long as I m in this area I will always take my cars there.

I very highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for high quality mechanics with integrity. I had an issue with my brake lines that I was not able to solve, and considering I rebuilt the engine in my car, I do know my way around a set of wrenches and a vacuum pump.I initially took my car to Sears Automotive at Pembroke, where they kept my car for 4 hours only to misdiagnose my issue and waste an afternoon. Within 45 minutes of handing over my car to Steve at Ace he had diagnosed it. Once the part arrived, he had the car up and good to go on budget and ahead of schedule.

This place is always my go to for car issues. The guys are very friendly and honest about what the are doing and treat their return customers very well. Everyone is willing talk about what is going on and more than willing to walk you through what they are doing to fix your car.

Steve and the guys over at Ace are on point. Customer service is first rate and they get the job done without the fluff and horror stories you hear with other places. I took my car in after it had been sitting for two years (stationed in Japan) and Steve took the time to break it all down for me and get the problem I was experiencing diagnosed and solved. Will definitely be returning for my future car needs.

Everyone here was so polite and accommodating. They worked my car in even though they had a full load that day, updated me through out the repair with phone calls and texted photos of the problem and repair. Coming across Ace Automotive was God sent. I prayed for a repair shop with honest workers and scored.They are friendly, polite, patient and listened as I explained my situation. Their prices are affordable And when finances are tough for you they apply discounts to your balance to help you out. They are fast and professional about their work.They will continue to be my #1 go to place and I would definitely recommend them to my friends.Thank you,Ace Automotive

I needed a tire repair on Halloween........most people closed early. I went to their competitor next door and they told me "maybe their mechanic would be in". I am so glad I went next door. The owners were there and so friendly. They took care of my tire repair that was a dealer warranty claim and I was on my way quickly.Thank you, guys!

Steve and his team has been working on my cars for over 3 years. Honest, and always done as promised. Never tries to up-sell or sell something I don t need. I don t trust anyone else with my cars.

Istalled new ac for my old WORKING ac while installing a new heater, since dash was already off. New ac never worked since the installation. Took it back and they said they fixed it (Charged me $200+ for charging it) ...THEY DID NOT fix it. I left and would never go back to those dishonest people. Owner continued to lie to me.

They were supposed to inspect my vehicle told me my truck needed tie rod, i sai ok fix it drove away still making huming noise, they told me it was ok. Well i had it checked at dealer they todl me it was the wheel main bearing they fixed iy and i got screwd by ace auto repsir, bunch of crooks.Service: Steering & suspension repairService: Steering & suspension repair

Customer went here for inspection. After letting them know he would have the work done somewhere else, the inspector cross threaded and impacted 2 of the 5 lugs on the wheel . now the studs have to be replaced because these guys are so salty about not getting the money. Guess what? Also The tie rod they failed it for has Zero play, leaks or tears in the boot. The state trooper is gonna enjoy this one :-)
