I took my car to AAA to have it inspected at my dad s suggestion. It had been inspected last week and failed. I seriously questioned the reason for the failure as I wasn t having any problems at all with my car. Kendra was super friendly and so reassuring. I dropped my car off yesterday and received a call today. Kendra informed me that the state inspection was complete and all I needed was windshield wipers!!! I was so excited I almost cried! I went from what would have cost me $350 to only $55!!! I am so grateful to AAA and their employees for being so courteous and professional. They really saved me so much time, money and aggravation! Thanks again you all! Thanks Kendra!!!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Wiper blade installation

I've used this care center twice and both times was a great experience! I dropped my car off on Friday afternoon a couple of weeks ago for their springtime road trip prep special, and they did a fantastic job and had it back to me early the next morning! When I arrived they let me know I had a turning signal light out. I brought it back this afternoon, again a Friday, to get that fixed and they had it back to me in less than an hour! The staff are super friendly and they do great work, highly recommend.Services: Tire rotations, Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation, Auto maintenance, Oil change

We used to take our Crown Vic to the dealer who sold it to us because at the time they had an excellent service crew and the women crew managers were all excellent. My wife could take her car in and be comfortable with the reliability of the information and she never felt like the service manager was talking down to her. When ours left there for a better long term opportunity and with the departure of a few of the technicians, there was a noticeable decline in the quality and reliability of their work. A friend suggested we try AAA. We have taken all of our cars there ever since. I've even had them install a replacement engine in my 2003 Ford Explorer. We've been very pleased with the folks running the place and the care they provide our vehicles for more than a decade.

Quoted me over $1500 to fix a front fender and headlight assembly so my car would pass inspection. Trade in value was only 1000. So I dumped it and bought a new one. It was a long wait and an over priced quote but overall wasnt the worst experience I've had. Workers were friendly and the waiting lounge was nice. If you've got a new vehicle with no doubts on passing inspection I'd recommend them. If you need other work I'd look elsewhere.

I had an appointment at 2 pm to get 4 new tires. Told it would take 2 hrs and I've been here for 3 hrs! Unfortunately no one even came in the waiting area to let me know what was going on. I went to the front desk and was told they must have gotten backed up on another job....not happy at all with the customer service....seriously??!! Am an AAA member but certainly not sure if I will return. Yesterday I had a scheduled oil change and it took 1 1/2 hrs. I'm getting more upset by the minute...and still no one checking to let me know how much longer....grrrr!!!!!

Went for State Inspection. Failed for Brakes.Took to another shop to fix because of large price difference for same service. Brought back forRe-Inspection, failed again, said brake pedal still not right Totally inaccurate response, since the pedal was perfect .Basically vengeful and mad that I didn t get repairs there, brought back to place that fixed the brakes, they passed me .Childish, vengeful, spiteful front desk guy who will never see me or another dollar from me again and every chance I get I will tell folks to never use Triple A ..

I ve dropped my vehicle for a state inspection on Wednesday at 9:00 am. Next morning same time it hasn t been finished, what can happen according to staff. I picked it up, because needed car for my job. However, Dan promised to have it done quickly later, since my car spent already 24H in the shop. As I stopped at 1 pm same day, I has been told that vehicle will not be done by the end of the day??? Don t waist your time, their staffs lies and don t care about customer service...

Tried to a car inspection. Left my car with them in the morning and was told it would be done by this afternoon. Called them at 4:45pm and was told it won t get done today and they could possibly get to it tomorrow. Unfortunately this was my only day off and I need my car to get to work tomorrow, so they completely wasted my time. I will no be going back to this business.

Came to this location for an oil change. I found them on Groupon. Communication can be better and customer service could be friendlier. I was told I can come in the morning for an oil change it was first come first serve and I can wait for my vehicle. I arrived 30 minutes prior to opening 7:30 and was told I needed to leave it and they didn't know when they would get to it. They called at 12:30 p.m. and said my vehicle was ready. They left no sticker in my window for a date on my next oil change and the woman did not know how to process my Groupon. I will not be coming back here.

Very professional and kind. However I feel like they go a bit overboard on inspections. I went in for an inspection thinking it was going to be $10 but ended up being $250. They do great work, so I'll definitely take my car back for future repairs but I do not think I'll ever take it back for an inspection.

I have been going here rather than the AAA center in Norfolk because I know the people here don't think, just because I'm a woman, I'll believe anything they tell me. Dude @ the Norfolk center told me the tire pressure light was still on after replacing tires because of the SPARE which was now in my trunk. SMH I trust the everyone here @ Va Beach Car Center.

I have been taking our cars there for many years. Gina and her crew has always been upfront, honest and I trust them with all four cars! Never trying to sell you something you don't need. AND always there in a pinch if something goes wrong. The Bestest Ever!!!!

Very happy with the professionalism of the Great Neck location. My car was in and out in 35 minutes. Well short of the 60 min I was told. Thank you AAA for the discount.always peace,Bruce

Went in for state inspection and they told me my vehicle required $650 of work to pass. I immediately took my car to another mechanic and he couldn t find the issues AAA car care center was talking about. They will take advantage of you, there are many better options for auto service.

Dan and the team here went above and beyond when they took on the job of replacing the motor in my wife s 1994 Ford Bronco. They came in under what everyone else s estimate was and completed the job quicker than everyone else s time frame. I ll drive the 20 miles out of my way anytime for them to do the work on any of my vehicles.

They always treat me well, until -- my wife brought her Toyota in for an inspection (which they performed the same afternoon). They told her that her front and rear struts were leaking, but they did pass inspection. The cost was about $1100. When we went to pick up the car, the price went up to $1400 as they forgot to include the rear struts. My buddy said that some shops suggest struts even though they are not really needed. We took the car to Oceana Muffler and Brake; he said the struts are operating as they should. I did not need new ones. I am happy I don't need to spend the money and disappointed in AAA.

My wife and I have been to this AAA several times in the past because it's close to our work which makes dropoff and pickup convenient. Each time has been a rough experience... also expensive! My biggest annoyance though is how they seem annoyed at smaller jobs like oil changes or state inspections. My wife tried on two different occasions this week, in the morning, to drop her car off for a state inspection and both times they said "We won't get to it for 2 days probably". Well, if they don't want our small jobs, we definitely won't be taking our big jobs there. Customer: LOST.

I have taken my car here a few times for a state inspection because it is free and it is very convenient to where I work. The last two times I have taken it it has left with a rejection sticker and a list of a couple things that are wrong. Between my husband and his friends knowledge of cars and engines, I take the car with the rejection sticker on it and bring it back to get reinspected rather then paying the $500+ bill. Just got a phone call from my husband who worked all night last night, came home and slept for a couple hours before waking up to go work on my car before going back in to work tonight... saying that it s ridiculous that they rejected my car for the things listed and that they passed my breaks when the break pads were terrible!! I will no longer be taking my car to AAA. I hate being taken advantage of being a woman at a care care center and I think it s very sad that this happens to people day in and day out!! We trust mechanics to tell us the truth and really all it is about is money.

Original work was great, back in December. Recently the part was defective. Dan and Gina had me come in the day I called and diagnosed immediately. I am out of state and the resolution for the warranty part was acceptable. Thank you.

This place is a joke.I brought my fiance's sonata here for service because she felt comfortable with the name AAA.Twice now I've had them look at the car because the head lights don't automatically shut off anymore and the power steering has been going out when it rains. Both times the head mechanic said that he could not recreate the power steering issue ,which is because the front desk person said he didnt have the time to drive it around more than 5 mins in the rain! He also said that the car doesn't have auto shut off lights.Any decent mechanic knows the serpentine belt getting wet or slipping is the cause of the power steering issue. The second time when we picked up the car at 9pm the battery was actually dead. This is because the supposed non existent auto shutoff feature was not turned off and ran the battery down.So we had to call roadside assistance to come jump the car at their own shop! After 2 wasted trips I have $200 in diagnostic fees, still need to get the serpentine belt changed and no answer to the headlight auto shut off issue. My fiance' left a message with roadside to have the shop manager call her about disatisfaction almost a week ago and no response yet.On a side not they had my fiance's membership number incorrect in their system so she was using someone else's benefits!I'll be taking all our vehicles elsewhere from now on.

Very profession and customer oriented location. Their pricing is reasonable and honest in my opinion. I normally do my own mechanical work but this location made it a no brainer for them to do the work for me. They have a decent waiting area that offer comfortable chair, free Keurig coffee and free WiFi connection.

Poor quality of work. They will not answer their phone. Extremely poor value of service. They will charge an extra 50-100% mark-up on all parts installed into your vehicle. They will charge you 65$ for a headlight bulb you can buy yourself for 15$. I have never been so blatantly slapped in the face with price-gouging such as this for parts or supplies. Pictured below is what I was quoted for with parts, and what is written in is the retail cost of the part from NAPA. I drop off my vehicle for convenience, if I had known I was going to expected to pay an extra 80$ on top of the already highest priced strut on the market for this vehicle, I would have never stopped here and I would have gone down the road, bought the parts and installed them myself. I have no complaints on labor costs, mechanics need to eat but it is unacceptable to so outrageously overprice parts to such a degree. I don't know if this is corporate policy/greed but I'm disgusted. Take your vehicle to Citgo across the street, they will fix your car quickly and affordably with the same quality parts. I will not be working with Dan or Gina EVER AGAIN.

I cannot recommend this shop. I brought my SUV here on a tow truck. $1,300 later, it left the shop on a tow truck with the same problem. They did not accurately diagnose the problem and I was stuck with a $1300 bill

I received a battery from AAA for my car that went dead after 9 months, and they refused to honor my warranty. Never going there again!
