I was a loyal customer. Moved miles away, but came back for maintenance to this place. I genuinely tried to ignore the drama in the comments, and just returned for good customer service. Here s my experience.. after tire rotation my right tire was on 20psi and my left was in 40. No one cared to reset pressure after the rotation. Service that was estimated to $150, turned into $180. I asked to pull the estimate I signed before work started and was told they looked at a wrong place and it is $150. I requested a quote on battery replacement, it was $360 + labor $60. I pulled online prices for the specified battery, those did not exceed $260, the shop representative didn t even blink to justify the difference. Thank you for all the good times i had with you, i m moving to another car shop.

Do not go here. I've used them 3 times and have had issues each time. I dropped my car off with an appointment and they forgot to work on it; it took 3 days. I asked how much to replace a tire and they provided a competitive quote, but then added a shop fee that was not quoted when I went to pay. Went to have my car inspected in order to renew my registration and they completed the incorrect inspection (safety vs emissions) so now I have to go somewhere else. Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

Very bad service felling, i don't recommend come here. they won't tell the customers the exact price of the repairs and lead to we have to pay more extra money pay for the bill at checkout. I believe i won't go back again.i will think about other brands. Hope David manager and employee more training get good quality improvement.

I went to this place for a state inspection on 02/16/24. I arrived around 3:30 pm and was attended to by the employee, Jackson. He told me I would be serviced by 5:45 pm. I waited until the agreed time, but he then informed me that he wouldn't inspect my car because there was a delay with another customer. I asked to speak with the manager, but he said there was no one to talk to. I have never felt so disrespected by a company. I wasted over 2.5 hours and could have gone elsewhere. Complete lack of professionalism and ethics. I do not recommend this location.

Last 3 experiences have been frustrating and I don't plan to return.2 years in a row I had an appointment for an oil change. Both times I returned for my car over an hour later and it was not ready. Both times after sitting for a lengthy time waiting across from the desk, I finally got up and asked when my car would be done, only to find it had been done and none of the staff who were standing around bothered to tell me even though I was the only person there waiting. For the most recent oil change, upon asking, I was told the tires did not need to be rotated.About a week later I realized the tires needed balancing and, because it would be free, made an appointment at VA tire & auto. When I got there, they had no record of my appointment. So I dropped off the car and they didn't finish for over 5 hours. They rotated the tires even though a week prior they said they didn't need to be rotated. Next time I drove the car, the TPMS sensor alerted. All of the tires had been over inflated.I'm done taking my car here.

I would recommend the Virginia Tire & Auto of Vienna anytime. It was my first time to try them but it was worth it. The sales agent who called me to be helped next was visibly customer oriented. He had a professional demeanor, knowledgeable, but he was accommodating and patient with me asking a lot of questions, not knowing much about tires. I got a good deal and happy with his help and good service. (His name is Me Hul). But, in my observation your other sales team over the counter were also customer service oriented. Thank you.

I went to get my tire fixed and it took them an hour and a half to tell me I needed a new tire. The guy at the front desk told me to come the next day at 230 and they would have my tire.I showed up at 230 the next day and not only do they not have my tire but they didnt even order it! No call, no one even checked to see if they had it. Thankfully there was a man filling in who saw my frustration and printed out the receipt and showed me it was ordered and to come back the NEXT day. Meaning, I had to call out of work due to their incompetence. Finally today at 11 I get there and they have the tire. Another hour and a half goes by and I get my car back and check out and the full price was listed. When I said I should not have to pay full price because their mistake and because of THEM i had to call out of work and not get paid. The man behind the counter (who was the one who forgot to order it, his name is Jackson I believe) goes yeah sorry for the inconvenience this has happened before . Thats your excuse???If you want to go somewhere quality and reliable. Its not here. First and last time at VA Tire and Auto.

!!!READ BEFORE YOU GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!Usually, I went to this branch and location every time to do oil changes, air filters, change the tires, and so on. It's like totally do everything about my car at this place. Here was the great store in the past.BUT SINCE THIS TIME, NEVER GO AGAIN AND NO MORE!!!Last month, I changed the engine oil here as usual and I knew my car's engine light was ON. I said I will be back later some days. A couple of weeks later I went there again to fix the engine light that was still on. I was waiting their about 2 hrs. They checked Engine Diagnostic and it said they had to remove and replace the PCV hose. I said Yes, let's do it because I thought that was the right way to fix the engine light "ON". So, I dropped my car there and came back to pick it up in the evening. And I paid about 395$ total. When I picked up my car and drove on the road for just 5 mins. THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AGAIN. YES!!! AGAIN!!! I felt a bit upset and a bit moody. I still thought positively, the engine light might be gone for a few days. But Nope. Nothing GONE!!!I came back to this store again. I told them what happened after I picked up my car. I dropped my car there and asked the receptionist for a Lyft to take me home. This is a good service that I appreciate. After that, I waited for the call for this place for a whole day. No one called me. At about 3 PM, I called back, someone said the technician still working on it and they gonna called back in 30 mins. But nothing, I called back again. Someone said the same word. So, I had been waiting until the shop was closed on that day. NOTHING UPDATE TO ME.The next day, I rode a Lyft to work by myself and still waiting for the call from Virginia Tire & Auto until in the evening. I thought something weird, so I asked my friend to bring me there. When I arrived there, my car looked like it stayed at the same spot in the parking lot like nothing was checked. I went inside to ask about the issue with my car to receptionist. She brought some documents to ask the Asian Guy, I assumed he may be the manager of this store. On his face acted like which car?, and what problem? it looked like many question marks in his head, also seemed like he didn't know anything about my car issue. After that, she came back and told me the new things to change and estimated the total cost of about 1,200$. At the time, I was really shocked and froze. My friend let me take the car back and find a new place to find out the issue. Because it's too expensive to pay. My car is a 2017 Sedan with 65, xxx miles driven. It's still great maintenance. No accident history. So I took my car back. One thing, when I dropped my car off to recheck the issue again, I asked the receptionist to rotate the wheels because I paid by Virginia Tire & Auto Credit Card, which is a free service that I saw in the advertisement in the brochure that pay with this card. But they still charged me about 30$, she said no worries, she would take that out. I reminded her again and again before I left. She still said NO WORRIED, NO WORRIED. Okay, I believed her.Until NOW, what happened on my bill, on the credit card statement is still a balance at the first time that I paid. The receptionist on that day didn't do anything. Never deduct, never delete, and didn't do ANYTHING for me.So what, I blamed and told myself, I would never go to this place again anymore. The money is just 30$ for the wheel rotation, which I can pay. But things were disappointing as I told them many times and I wasted time dropping my car there and came back to pick it up for about 4-5 days total. Also, 395$ that I paid on first time to fix an engine light ON but my issue was unable to fix it.All is my story, please think about it before you go to this store. I may be unlucky for this time that I got this statement.

My wife visited this location for an oil change earlier today. That was at the price quoted on the website. However, they immediately started in on additional sales, and they were absolutely price gouging and attempting to sell her unnecessary parts and services to her just because she is a woman. They said she needed new wiper blades, and that just the parts alone would be nearly $400 (they retail for $60-150) plus labor. She obviously didn't take them up on that offer. Then she asked about tire rotation. They refused to do it, saying that all 4 of her tires are dry rotted and need immediate replacement. She just had her car inspected at the end of August, and passed without issue. And funnily enough, this location let her drive off with these supposedly in need of immediate replacement tires without issue. But they did try to sell her new tires. While all of this was going on, another man was trying to check out, and was informed they had lost his car keys. They still had not found them when my wife left the location half an hour later. She didn't trust their competence after this, and she had been immediately put off by the attempted price gouging, so she refused to buy new tires there. She will be visiting a different mechanic tomorrow to make sure these dishonest, incompetent 'mechanics' at Virginia Tire and Auto of Vienna didn't screw that up as well.Update: NTB in Fairfax is doing the wiper for under $60 including labor. These guys at Virginia Tire and Auto are straight up scumbags trying to charge $400 in parts. Considering they answer every bad review in basically the same way, but the same issues keep popping up consistently for several years now, I can only recommend that you do NOT give this place your business

Overcharges for foreign cars. An estimate for a fairly basic brake job was $200 MORE than the dealership service cost. If you have a foreign car, you need to shop around.

They had my car all day and told me I could pick it up. I arrived and the essential work to be done (alternator) had not been completed. Why did they tell me to pick it up when I couldn't drive it? No one knows.Complete waste of my time.

What Happened:I visited your location KNOWING I need a new set of tires.I recently had a nail and received a tire PLUG at another location to temp. drive.I knew PLUGs are not recommended as permanent fix so I kept my appointment at VA Tire to change those tires today at 12pm.When arriving, I asked the team members if they do plugs at VA Tire and they said no. I explained I got a plug and I need 2 new sets of back tires. The team member explained that they needed to get the tech to give us a quote for tires and they would give me a call. So I let them know I will go across the street for lunch. After one hour, I still did not receive a call and sat right across from the building sitting at the window where I could clearly see my car... I knew my car was NOT MOVED or seen.I called the store to see if I can still get that quote for tires and new estimated time. The female team member picked up and told me she would check. Then Suny, another gentleman picked up the phone and told me, "we had the technician check and the plug still has a leak and needs new tires".Please tell me HOW DID THE TECH CHECK FOR THE LEAK IF THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN MOVED AND THE PLUG WAS ON THE GROUND COVERED TO CHECK?I asked Suny, again, I can see the car and it has not been moved and how did you check?I asked again, when I rushed back to the store across the street.Suny replied: "it is easy to tell, just have to look at it"I confirmed, "you are sure the plug is leaking?"Suny replied "Yes"Now... I see the manager Martin walking over to move the car. I stopped him, explained what happened and asked him to bring the tech out to show me how they checked.after 5 minutes of struggle and asking him to get out of the car to stop moving the car. He(Martin) went back in to talk to his team.Martin walked back out and started apologizing that they made a mistake and they did not check the car.I would have been 100% okay if they replied to my phone call, we were busy and haven't got to your car. But when I can clearly see they are lying... That is an integrity issue.Even Martin agreed that the employee should have told the truth and this could have been avoided.Issue for me is that, if I wasn't nearby and I didn't know if I needed a new tire, I would have believed the employee and trusted your business. But knowing they are lying, how can I trust them with any work you provide. Once again, I knew I needed new tires, and didn't need to upsell me a tire or tire plan. But to see them playing off the truth is an issue for me.

Bought and mounted tires from this location. 2 of the 4 tires were installed incorrectly. Months later, fail state inspection due to their mistake. Take it back to them and they act like they did nothing wrong. No apology or anything and acting like they are doing me a favor by fixing their mistake. The main manager there seemed to be so into staying inside his office even though i tried to talk to him about the issue while his front register guys are busy buying sneakers on the work computers and theircell phones

Dear Chelsey (not sure of the correct spelling of your name),I am writing to let you know that I truly believe you excel in your role and provide outstanding customer service. I had the opportunity to visit your Tire and Auto establishment in Vienna once, where I observed your interactions with a challenging customer in person and over the phone. Despite the customer's unreasonable and disrespectful behavior, you maintained professionalism and composure. Your exceptional service is the reason why I will be returning to your location for future services. I sincerely appreciate your efforts and the positive impact you make.Thank you,Diana.

My experience with the staff here was great! I was briefed beforehand that they were a little behind. The did more than accommodate me while I waited. Kay and Jackson were very friendly. Definitely would recommend. Service was great, even got my vehicle completed before the weather got bad in the evening.

I have shopped at a lot of tire and auto shops. Virginia Tire has the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. I was having trouble finding the right tires I needed. Jason found what I needed in the morning and they were on my car later that day. Along with the tires, they check the alignment, battery and a thorough engine overview. Why go anywhere else!!!

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Jared! They were closing and I had a busted tire and coiod get home safely without his help in getting the donut on. I just can't thank you enough for your kindness!

I've been to at least four different Virginia Tire & Autos in this area and this one is by far the best. Kay was incredibly helpful, patient, and genuinely nice. She walked me through everything that needed to be done with my car, searched high and low for my specific tires that needed to be replaced, and made a very expensive afternoon much less painful. Both Kay and Jason went out of their way to give excellent customer service.

Be aware on this one. We had a car in for an oil change and they recommended filter replacement (as everyone always does) we asked for 1 filter to be replaced but 2 were charged for. They charged 55 and 60 dollars per filter (parts you can find over the counter for 11 dollars and replace in 10 minutes). The person in my family dealing with this did not know a lot about cars and trusted the mechanic. When I saw the receipt this struck me as predatory. Be aware when using this location.

We had an appt that we scheduled with Jason and when my husband showed up with the car at that time, he was told it would be ready in 2 hours. Interesting that is not what we were told when scheduling and actually that would mean they'd be closed by that time. This location is the worst, we enjoyed the customer service when location in Tysons was open. That one was run by a manager that was respected to customers and equally to his staff. This location should not receive your business

I was always satisfied with the quality of their car service. However last two visits were not so pleasant.I came as early in the morning as possible and wanted to be the first one. And I was. But still, my car was not started to be serviced until 8:45 am last time, for instance. They made me wait for too long. So next time I decided to do the service by myself. You can call that "staff shortage", but I am afraid it will lead to a shortage of loyal customers too.And please don't ask me to contact you via email. I tell you my concerns every time I talk to you in person.I wish you the brightest possible future though.

The quality of service at Virginia Tire and Auto has declined over the years. Twice I have made appointments to get my oil change and the experience was less than favorable. The first time, the shop was closed for the day and I was given no noticed. The second time, I waited for almost two hours and my oil never got changed. I also had my transmission flushed and found out later, from another car shop, that the transmission was actually never flushed. I don't plan on returning to this car shop.

Insufficient communication, particularly for individuals awaiting services, demonstrates a lack of professionalism. Despite scheduling a minor tire inspection appointment for 2:30 pm and opting to wait, I found myself waiting until 3:15 pm with the car still parked outside. This level of unprofessionalism is disappointing, and it has led me to decide against returning to this establishment. Overall, my experience at this place has been unsatisfactory.

Clean, modern facility. Friendly personnel. Good for basic items like tires, inspections, etc. I do feel that a little more technical expertise and the ability to explain car issues would be welcome. Also, I felt a $167 charge purely to diagnose an issue was high.
