I would say my overall experience with the sales person JD was decent as far as the car buying process/experience. Although there was a water pump issue that was causing bearing noises from the front of the vehicle that they didn't say anything about. Had I not caught it and asked for it to be checked out nobody would have said anything and I would have purchased a vehicle with a water pump issue, and would have had to pay to repair it out of my own pocket. Ultimately that was checked out and repaired by the dealership later.With that being said, I would not say am completely satisfied with the customer service I received after I walked out of the finance office and signed all paperwork. Immediately after walking out of the finance office I noticed there was only 1 key given to me and no spare, when I tried to asked for the spare, I was hit with " are you aware that you signed a document stating that there's only one key that came with the vehicle?" by the used car manager, and their service said they would charge $400 to get a spare made. This gave me the impression that they only care about selling their vehicles and not necessarily about the customer.The other issue is with the service department. Just a couple weeks after purchasing the vehicle I got a nail in one of my tires. When I went to their service department to get it patched they said they couldn't patch it because it was too close to the side of the tire, and that they recommend I replace the tire with a new one for over $300. I ended taking the tire to a tire shop and got it patched for $59. Goes to show you how much this place only cares about their pockets and very little or at all about the customer.

Hi, I wanted to share my recent experience at the Toyota service center and express my disappointment with the service I received. I had scheduled an early appointment at 8 am to avoid the busy Saturdays. I arrived on time, but unfortunately, my car was not ready even after 5 hours. I had to wait at the door for a long time until someone finally showed up to bring my car. To my surprise, when my car was brought to me, the hood was completely open. This made me question the quality of the service provided. Additionally, I noticed that the technician had marked the brakes as red again, even though I was there specifically to have all the brakes replaced. This raises concerns about the accuracy and trustworthiness of the technician's work. Furthermore, the advisor at the service center was very pushy in trying to sign me up for a Sunbit loan and even ran my credit. While he was polite and respectful, I would have preferred if he had focused on checking my car and the sticker for the next service and called a real person to bring my car instead of leaving me alone with my key at the door. I want to emphasize that I have been a loyal customer and have traveled all the way from Maryland because of the great service I have received in the past. However, this recent experience has left me extremely disappointed.

My Service Advisor was Mike Best. I went in for the State Inspection as well as routine maintenance. Everything was done in a professional manner, and Mike was very friendly and informative. I would recommend him to anyone bringing their vehicle in for any service needs they may have!

James Kim took exceptional care of my vehicle, as I needed to have my tail light replaced. I came for service on a Friday afternoon to what seemed very busy! James Kim was very informative with explaining details of the service and communicated an ETA of finishing the vehicle. Prompt and excellent service over all! The service coffee/waiting area was clean as well. I was very pleased. Thanks so much!!

Great experience, thanks to Alex! Driving back from Tyson's, my Camry suddenly had a beep then flashing indicators, the steering almost locked up, and it freaked me out. I managed to pull over, and it happened to be in the Toyota parking lot. I had no idea what to do as the car wouldn't restart. I asked a salesman for help, he looked at it, and advised I talk to a pro. He led me to Alex, was was very reassuring & made me feel at ease. The service was great, open & honest pricing, easy car rental, and regular check-ins regarding progress. The car was ready on time, and Alex was amazing throughout the entire process! I don't know how I could have coped if Alex had not calmed me down and explained everything so well. Great experience & my new place for any work on my car!

My in person visit has always been pleasant and efficient timely work done . But this time, because of work commitments, I opted for pick up valet service. What a wonderful experience! It allowed me to have no work disruption with the comfort of knowing that my car will be in safe hands. Talking to David who explained what work will be done and the timing schedule was very reassuring. An excellent experience in total! Many thanks!!!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Koons Toyota Tysons and I must say, it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a car dealership. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and seemed completely disinterested in helping me or addressing my concerns.From the moment I walked in, I was met with indifference and a lack of willingness to assist me. No one seemed to care about my needs or concerns, and it was clear that customer service was not a priority at this dealership.When I tried to ask questions or voice my concerns, I was met with dismissive responses and a complete lack of empathy. It was as if they couldn't be bothered to help me or even pretend to care about my experience.Overall, my experience at Koons Toyota Tysons was incredibly disappointing and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The staff is unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely lacking in customer service skills. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere for your car service needs.

I previously made a positive review a few years back, but this experience the other day was *not* good. I came in for new tires and an alignment. Here s what happened:1) They dented and scratched one of my rims down to below the finish.2) I asked for a right rear tire back so I could take it back to the shop who kindly loaned it to me for a week. They gave me one of my originals instead (I didn t realize til I got to the local tire shop that I had the wrong tire). For what it s worth, the service advisor told them which tire, but the technician didn t pay attention, I guess.3) I came home with three of my aftermarket valve stem caps and went home with someone s expensive looking metal one. I just spent $15 on the package replacement for my lone missing cap.4) Just by happenstance tonight, had the thought to check my tire pressures. I had *50* PSI in my left rear tire. FIFTY. Not 40. Not 30. 50. In a Toyota Corolla SE s tires that is bound for misfortune. I had 38 PSI in the others. For my car, Toyota has the guidelines set at 33 PSI in the front, 30 PSI in the rear.5) When I checked out with the cashier the other day, the kid was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. All sorts of attitude, laziness, no customer service skills.This absolutely pains me because I have sworn by Koons Tyson s Toyota for YEARS. The service advisors have been wonderful (they were this last time too!). I have never had to worry that my vehicle is being taken care of. I specifically brought my vehicle here for new tires for this reason. My vehicle is my pride and joy, it s what I ve paid for with my hard earned money, and it was tossed around with no zero respect. This time was horrendous (minus service advisors). Next time, I ll be rethinking my options on where to take my vehicle.

I have been to this dealership over the last 5 years and each time, my experience has been nothing short of fantastic. From the service that the associates provide to waiting time for services to be completed as well as a quiet area to continue working, I trust them with my vehicle. I ve been helped by several of their team members and each person deserves compliments and a raise (truthfully).Recently Steve B, helped me out and I appreciate his time explaining to me the services my car needed and understanding that it was Monday after work and the last thing anyone wanted to deal with is their car issues. Thanks again!

Special thanks to my service advisor, Steve Bush. Steve made sure that my special vehicle, 2022 Toyota Supra named Rosa, was given 5 star service! Steve communicated honestly, and professionally. Since my service appointment was going to be a few hours, Steve offered me the shuttle service in case I wanted to visit the mall. When I returned from the mall, my Rosa was shiny and glowing like new!! It really made me very happy!! It was a great day at Koons Tysons Toyota! Thanks Steve and others in the Service department, who took care of my Supra!! See you next year!!!

I ve been going to Koon s Toyota in Tyson s for over 10 years to get my 4Runner serviced. They typically do a relatively good job and don t overcharge, their work is solid. This time as I was waiting one of the customer service representatives said that he was closing out my paperwork, an hour later I got a text saying that they were ready for me. The dealership was not that busy and the waiting room wasn t packed. If they needed more time they should have said something but I missed two meetings because they didn t say anything. To the credit of another customer service representative, when I mentioned the delay he took some money off the top of the bill. I hope this is not the new norm for them.

I love my new Highlander Limited, especially the color, Cypress, and all the features that come standard on the limited trim level. The entire buying experience was wonderful and pretty streamlined. Mohammed A, my salesman, was very curtains and approachable. Regina, the floor manager, was very friendly and conveyed the need to be efficient to the finance agent, Yvonna, because I was on a time constraint. Yvonna, was very accommodating completing all the paperwork as quickly as possible. The whole buying process took just over four hours, from arriving to driving off the lot in my new Highlander. Everyone at Koons Toyota did a fabulous job. It was worth the two hour trip from Chester, Va.

Akash made my experience at Koons very, very positive from the minute I walked in the door to maybe buy a car to the subsequent visits needed to repair a minor body blemish on the car I ultimately bought as well as eventually put on my permanent license plates. He is a very knowledgeable, friendly and caring person. He listened very closely to my concerns and needs and then addressed them quickly and professionally! it was a pleasure dealing with him and would recommend him highly.

It was very quick and easy service. It was a swift process getting to the car I wanted and I greatly appreciate Janette. She went above and beyond with showing a variety of cars and showed an immense amount of patience throughout the process. I left with a Corolla cross that I felt was something I wanted in a car and more. I d def recommend coming and seeing her for sure.

Best customer service I travel from above 100 miles round trip I feel confident that koons Tyson Toyota service cares.Their customer service recently got a shot of vitamin B Freda Ali s personality, knowledge of her role as the face of Koons Toyota maintenance department and her commitment to follow-through. The first time I met this lady in person, she made me feel as a valued customer. She reminded of everything we had previously discussed then follow through. Her dedication, commitment and most importantly customer service skills. Koon you should propagate her VIBZZ. Mashallah Bigup from Jamaica There seems to be a disconnect between the rep and me either they are stretched thin or a link in the customer relations ha been broken. Can you imagine your doctors not preparing for your visit fire fighting mode seems to be the order of the day. I drive from Fredericksburg through traffic for over 2 hrs one way. It may be time to reconsider a different dealership.

My indicator light needed a new gas tank cover to be turned off simple fix. When it was ordered (because it wasn t in stock) they quoted me approximately $16. Weeks later when Koons scheduled the appointment to install, they quoted approximately $16. When installed and bill is presented, bill is for about $36. This discrepancy between what is quoted and what is actually billed is a consistent pattern at Koons from my experience for multiple cars over the last 12 years. EVERY time I have service done there I cannot rely on the quote I get in advance and it is NEVER in my favor. Coincidence?

I honestly don t like to review based on person but this time I was a little frustrated. David Turcios was helping me out my last 2-3 visit, and I really don t know why he has an attitude to me. Every time I bring my car, he act like he is paying my service fees from his own pocket.I have been using Tysons Koons Toyota last 7-8 years and so far from new and used car sales department doing excellent job but I wouldn t say the same thing about the Service department.Thanks to Crystal who is the manager of service area, she solved my problems and explained everything very nicely.Piece of mind.. they don t report your vehicle s service records to the CarFax, if you re my type of guy, maybe you d want to know that.We got a brand new Camry at 2018 and got serviced every 10k thru them since the first day, guess what? After driving over 100k there is not even a single report on the vehicle s service history report that we were expecting to see.

Made a same day appointment for an oil change and Jim was very helpful. Service took an hour with tire rotation. It would be nice to get the inside vacuumed and the car washed as included service. I didn't ask for that to be done so maybe that's on me.

My wife and I were both regular customers who began getting suspicious over the past ~2 years that the service center employees were recommending repairs that we didn't need in order to turn a higher profit. Each time we went for a regular service, they would recommend 3-4 additional items at prices that seemed very high. After my wife's most recent visit, we decided we had enough, and took the list of items they recommended to another local, reputable shop. Not only were the other shop's prices about 50% less than what Koons requested for these services, but they showed us that the services Koons recommended were not even close to being needed. For example, Koons told us we needed to replace both of our front lower suspension ball joints as the "rubber dust boots were torn/separated due to age and usage allowing grease to leak out", something that would be difficult for us to check on our own. The other shop looked and saw zero evidence of this and told us we were not even close to needing to replace them. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Koons.

The staff was professional and polite. They took me as a walk in and got my vehicle in to be looked at quickly. I was having an issue with the driver side electric seat being stuck in the full upward position. They explained it d be a $175 diagnostic fee. After about an hour and a half of the vehicle being in the shop they said the motor was dead and that there is no motor only replacement. It s sold as an assembly and I d have to replace everything under the seat including all the brackets and motors which would cost almost $2,300 installed. The vehicle is a 2012 Camry so I couldn t justify spending this much money on a 12 year old vehicle. Frustrated I left the dealership after paying the $175 fee. On the car ride home I just kept pushing the switch up and down, holding it in every position possibly. After about 15 minutes of constant manipulation the seat gave way and started working again.So while the staff was professional and efficient their diagnosis was off. They told me the motor was no longer working and suggested the most expensive solution. The technician told me he bench test the motor and confirmed it was dead. This was clearly not the case or correct diagnosis. I get that shops cost money to run but I essentially paid $175 for nothing but a wrong answer to my problem that I ultimately ended up solving myself.

As always, I had a wonderful experience when I took my Tundra in to get serviced. I especially enjoy catching up with my service advisor, Alex. It s like catching up with a family member. He treats me like family and takes care of my truck like a family member would. I won t let anyone else touch my truck.

I went there with the hopes of finding my son used car he was nervous. They took excellent care of him no pressure, they educated him on the importance of paying his car note on time and his credit score. I would recommend anyone looking for a reliable car to visit Koons of Tysons. I can honestly say that everyone was friendly and helpful! And we received an excellent deal thanks again!

Last week my car was side-swiped and the glass on my mirror on the drivers side fell clean off. With the help of Mike, I was able to get my mirror replaced quickly and easily within an hour! Amazing service and incredible customer support staff!

I originally wanted just oil change. But they noticed my vehicle safety inspection had expired, so i told them to go ahead with inspection too. The reason I give 2stars is bcz of some wrong records on my vehicle safety inspection list I received. I checked my car before I took it to koons. Surprisingly they mentioned that one of my rear bulbs was broken and I needed to pay 48$. As you can see in the photo, all my rear bulbs are working perfectly.To everyone out there, make sure you know your vehicle well before you take it to these dealers, don't be blinded by the big names.Come on koons you can do better.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change
