TERRIBLE Customer Service!! I scheduled an appointment a week out for an oil change and an inspection. When I dropped my vehicle off for my "appointment", I was told they don't take appointments for inspection and that it was on a first come first serve basis. So of course I left my vehicle since I had an "appointment" for an oil change and figured they would work with me on the inspection. I then called end of day since I hadn't heard from anyone and was told my vehicle was not ready (no oil change/inspection). Now mind you, I had informed them at the 8am drop off that I would need my vehicle end-of-day as it was my only ride home. I also told the lady on the phone that I would drop my vehicle back off in the morning since I work up the road. The next morning I'm at the door at 7:45am waiting for them again to open at 8am. I go to leave the keys and the lady says WILL SEE WHAT WE CAN DO. And then tells me that I'm at the back of the line AGAIN since I drove my vehicle home the night before. That's right, my vehicle sat there ALL day on Monday and when I returned the following morning before they opened, I was once again at the back of the "first come first serve" line for inspections. I was absolutely dumbfounded by this thought process. Long story short, I left my vehicle again that morning hoping they would see the LIGHT and take care of a REPEAT CUSTOMER. To no surprise, my vehicle once again sat ALL DAY for the second day in a row. NO PHONE CALL, NO FOLLOW, NO INSPECTION, NO OIL CHANGE. Oh and even though I had a appointment for an oil change, this was NEVER COMPLETED!!! What's the point of making an appointment if YOUR NOT GOING TO HONOR what you AGREED too?This has got to be the most inefficient auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS BUSINESS. ITS NOT WORTH THE FRUSTRATION NOR THE ADDED EXPENSE!!!TRUST ME ON THIS!!!!!

I mistakenly assumed that when Jones left Lake Monticello that they were just gone, so I began going to another auto repair facility that's since gone downhill. I found Jones again by accident but what a happy accident! They're reasonably priced, trustworthy, and honest. I don't trust anyone else in this area for automotive needs, more than Bunny. And Trisha at the front office is a doll. THANK YOU!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Oil change

We have been using Jones for many years. And, they NEVER fail to win our praise. I needed a new starter on my vehicle (1999 Ford Ranger), had it towed to them just before closing time on a Friday, and they had replaced the starter and the vehicle was ready to go by 2PM Monday. I couldn't ask for better service!

They were great! I had Macs disappoint me and ruined my morning but Jones saved me time had my inspection done in matter of hours and asked ahead of time if I wanted anything repaired automatically if under 50.00 without calling first, needed light adjustments and instead of failing it they fixed it for almost nothing! No surprises going back of a line so thank you for that. They saved the day and I'm grateful for them, will return. Also the receptionist, she was lovely thank you again Ma'am.

We took our car in for an inspection. Because we didn't tell them they could just automatically fix anything under $50, (there was 1 thing, a sticker on the 3rd brake light) that was going to fail the inspection, they put our car back at the end of the line of inspections. They didn't bother calling us to let us know, they just started and stopped the inspection. When my husband called asking if it was ready, they told him what the problem was and that for $10 they would pull the sticker off the 3rd brake light and probably wouldn't be able to get to our car today now.They said they do inspections on a 1st come, 1st serve basis. We took our car and dropped it off the night before. There was only one other car in the parking lot when we left it. All they had to do was call in the morning when they started the inspection and saw that they sticker needed to be pulled off and we would've told them to do it. I guess since we wouldn't just let them charge us without notifying us first, that was what put us at the end of the line. Horrible customer service!!

All I sent my vehicle in for was an inspection, I left and now the whole front end shakes, and one of the reasons they listed for it failing wasn't even on the requirements. Also they decided not to call me at all, and when I called they refused to tell me what was wrong until I went in. Overall a very bad experience and would highly recommend staying away if you want to keep driving your vehicle.

This is an honest, competent car repair and maintenance shop. I've been using them for over twelve years and have always been pleased with their work. Prices are fair. Highly recommended.

Be very careful! Inspections are meant keep us safe . My experience was extremely bad . They wanted to fail my trailer for inspection because they said the hitch ball was the wrong size ! So what concerns me I have had this trailer inspected over 10 times and it has never been an issue ! Bunny , I guess is the guy that ripped me off ! I talked to them and the receptionist was clueless! I will say I was very upset! I just want to be treated fairly and I do not feel this was the case ! I knew it was an issue when the receptionist asked my wife if it s under $50 do you want us to fix it ! Wow ! It s a reason why the are hurting for money! Please do not go there! I have corresponded with the owner and he continues to attack and not listening to me ! I need a business I can trust they want to listen! He doesn t care !

They really don t care about your time. My experience at Jones Auto is the same as the other reviewer. I found they do not accommodate customers and employ a business model of customer inconvenience. I left feeling like they could care less how much of a headache coming back is, so today experience merits a bad review. Five minutes of there time was all it would have taken to make me a happy customer.When the words "Do we have authorization to do repairs if we find failed inspection items?" was asked at drop off, my hair on my neck stood up. I said NO and left my truck/trailer overnight for a state inspection. I should have listened to my gut. Next day the truck pass, the trailer failed for a cracked signal lens. Simple enough fix, came to get my truck armed with a replacement lens, removed two screws and in less than a minute it was fixed. I went in to pay and asked if the inspector could come take a look and I could go on my way with a pass. Nope...."You will have to come back and leave it overnight again responded someone in a back office out of site, we re too busy." Most shops you hear impact wrenches, engines being tested, cars rolling in and out, mechanics talking, but this place is whisper quiet, like a ghost town. I have attempted several times to walk in over the years and get an inspection with no luck and never saw another customer.I can't speak for the car work they do, but I can say for sure "I" would never get my car inspected here again, or towed here or willingly go back. I would recommend going to MAC's down the road, they know how to treat customers correctly. Only reason I didn t go to Mac s was the parking lot is hard to park a trailer in.

Very competent. They've diagnosed & repaired even the weirdest problems. Been using Jones for many years. If you schedule your vehicle ahead of time you'll get it back per the schedule. If you leave it afterhours & hope for the best, it might not be lickety-split. I trust them. Good people.

Don't be in a rush. It took 2 weeks of calling back & forth to get my truck inspected. I offered to drop it off all day, and they still were not going to be able to get to it unless it was left over night. Had scheduled for one morning & when I showed up to drop it off, was told that they had no record of it & wasn't sure they would be able to get to it that day.Then, after leaving it @ 7:40 AM, didn't receive any call or contact, despite leaving 3 different contact numbers. I finally called them @ 4 PM to be told, "Oh, yes we did get to inspect it. But it failed, so we had to put a rejection sticker on it." No estimate on repairs, no contact, no service.

Tried calling, they sent my to voicemail, called again and a very rude lady answered the phone. She just kept saying I don t know when I asked for pricing and availability.

I went to the parts store for DEF fluid. It was easy to access the place and the man working the counter loaded it into my vehicle for me. Polite staff. Very old school parts shop.

Been using Jones Automotive for years .They are fair, honest and great to work with. They have a great staff from front office to mechanics. I highly recomend.

They're not very good at contacting you if they don't get to your car,, that you made a appointment for a week in advance. Poor communication skills and poor workmanship
