Most times when I think of the DMV, I don't think of fast service or good customer service but today in Tazewell I was very wrong! I walked right up to the counter, they helped me out and they were incredibly kind and professional! I was very pleased with my experience (other than the fact of having to pay tax on a vehicle that's already been taxed!)

Other customers were very considerate when I was helping my sister that had a number mobility issues. The line was very long and several customers offered their seat. Then, when she was needed at the counter, customers helped her get from the chair to the counter. The staff person was also very considerate and let her stay near the desk to fill out the need it paperwork. Everyone seems to be doing their very best but it looks like management keeps him very understaffed

Take a number and wait, but it did not take long at all. Needed to title and register my bug from another state. Very happy with the process & very happy with the new Virginia tags!

Very nice and helpful people, helped when i had a question and didn't mind giving details of things asked about. One of the few DMV's I've been too that was actually pleasant. The one thing that shocked me was while waiting to go in for my appointment, one of the employees and i was helping a guy get a schedule for an appointment there and the fact she helped like she did and was super nice was actually something I'm not use to seeing from other DMV's I've been too.

Dmvs can be somewhat slow somedays but for the knowledge and assistance from the personal perspective very well mannered and very soft spoken for a more stereotypical manner of professional behavior to my level of conference thank staff from the public's side I give it 5 stars training and computer communications for the public's side thanks

There is a very quick and organized way when going to the DMV now. I accually like it better with appointments. Things seem to run much smoother and you get in and out much faster.

The local DMV is trying to work with their customers. They are still hampered by bad policies from Richmond but that's what you get from the current leadership in Richmond. Can't blame the local office for Richmond.

Changing regular tags to handicap tags. Everything went smoothly. It was very busy. The girls were getting it done.

Ridiculous u would think with this virus going on that the customer service wouldn't be so pathetic. If u really needing something done that is vital to your life I don't advise wasting your time at this location

They were rude, sat for over an hour and they hadn't even taken our information. We asked why and her response was they were busy. Several cars came an went while we waited and there was 2 other cars when we first arrived. No sense in their actions and rudeness

Tazewell DMV is the worst one I've ever been to ,you have to wait so long for an appointment so I went to the one in Lebanon and walked in with no appointment and took only 5 minutes
